00:00So the crime scene itself was a bit messy. We learned from the scene that Palak's injuries were
00:07pretty substantial. They weren't the kind of injuries that you see every day. As we continued
00:14to process the crime scene, we found a book bag from Badrash Kumar that had all of his information
00:23in it as well as Palak's. And we found cell phones on the crime scene that we later learned belonged
00:31to Badrash Kumar. He was talking to her family on the cell phone just prior to the murder.
00:38And do we know what he was talking to her family about? This is his wife's family.
00:44They were arguing because Palak wanted to leave. She was homesick and she wanted to go back home.
00:51And Badrash Kumar was not having it. And some of the family told me that one of the last things
00:59he said on the phone was, no wife of mine is leaving.
