00:06They were able to give a description to the sketch artist who drew up two sketches of two of the
00:13three robbers that they saw.
00:15When we identified who these guys are, I was absolutely shocked at how good the sketch was, and it was
00:20pretty spot on.
00:21So two of the three are captured, but the third, Santa Maria, somehow eludes capture.
00:31How did that happen? Did they split up or what?
00:33Yeah, they split up. Santa Maria, you know, he was pretty smart, pretty savvy.
00:40He's been arrested multiple times. He has quite a few aliases.
00:44He seems to be no stranger to disappearing and starting over as needed.
00:51So was the gold ever recovered?
00:54Of the 10 gold bars that were stolen, we recovered one, and that was early on in the case.
01:01An individual tried to bring the entire, one entire gold bar into a separate refinery in Miami and sell it.
01:09And we were able to recover that. Obviously, they recognized the 27-pound perfect gold bar was a little suspicious.
01:16So they called us. We were able to go out and recover that one gold bar.
01:19But of the 10 gold bars, that was the only one that we recovered in full form.
