00:37We're here in Mission, British Columbia, meeting up with Carrie and Ash, who have
00:41decided to trade the British countryside for the Canadian countryside. I've got

01:11want to, you know, drop the hustle and bustle of the city and come out here? So originally from the

01:17we were country folk anyway. We grew up in the south, away from city, so it's what we know. This

01:22area when we originally came here that we wanted to pick. And look at those views.
01:26I know. I'm just driving around here. It's just breathtaking views all the way through. Beautiful.
01:34We started off in the UK and then we decided just shortly after we got together that
01:42it wasn't where we wanted to raise a family. We wanted to go abroad. We wanted to
01:46investigate the entire world, see the different places. We ended up coming on holiday to Canada,
01:54and it was 18 months later we moved. We have two boys, both energetic, keep us busy for sure. Big

02:04the sports kind of thing. Yeah, both very capricious, energetic, rugby, football.
02:09So I think with the move, we're looking for some space so the family can grow and the boys have
02:16that
02:16space to be as rambunctious as they want. Yeah. Allow my mum to come and live with us.
02:23So I think the budget for this move, I think we could push for maybe 3.2-ish. If everything
02:31was good. Yeah,
02:32and I know my mum has said with her moving in that we could move a little bit with that
02:38number.
02:39It's more about the feel and the way of life and the kind of lifestyle that we can get from
02:44it.
02:44Privacy, seclusion, the feeling of being in nature. Yeah. If we can get that, we'll be most of the way
02:49there. Yeah.
02:56The town of Mission is located about an hour's drive east of Vancouver, British Columbia,
03:00nestled on the scenic Fraser River.
03:05The area is known for its lush forests and nature, but also for its warm community with historic roots.
03:13It's no surprise to me why Carrie and Ash chose this beautiful town as a place to raise their family.
03:25I think we're off to a good start because we've got a lot of room to work with here.
03:29There's almost nine acres behind us. Wow.
03:31And as far as I'm concerned, I can barely see any neighbors. First impressions from the outside.
03:36It's very European looking. It's lovely. I can see the solarium over there and I get a little peekaboo
03:41view of the misty morning mountains through there. Absolutely beautiful.
03:46I'm really enjoying the contrast against the woodland and the nature and the colors of the house.
03:53The style is not my first choice, but I do enjoy it. I do like it.
03:59Yeah, it's a unique look for this area, so having something different is always good.
04:03The seclusion, the sight, the way the house looks, everything is lovely.

06:30which is fantastic. For our uses, maybe it could be a bit different. That might be something that we would
