00:17Belgium took more than a year to convene an initial meeting to discuss the export of arms to Israel, having
00:23not adopted any binding measures when the case was brought to court.
00:27These organizations had specifically demanded that Belgium close its airspace to the transport of arms to Israel as well as
00:33other significant actions.
00:34The trial, which begins in Brussels, is the first step in a process that could lead to the prosecution of
00:41all governments that are complicit in the extermination war in Gaza.
