00:00I have a particular set of skills that will come in handy here.
00:04Welcome to MojoPlays, and today we'll be exploring and discovering 15 of the coolest hidden secrets in every LEGO Star
00:12Wars game.

00:268-Bit Space Slug – LEGO Star Wars The Force Awakens
00:33In the Millennium Falcon hub in Freeroam, there's various fun nods and references.
00:39But one awesome secret is the hidden 8-Bit Space Slug minigame.
00:43Next to the terminal for the Erivana level, you will find a bunch of breakable boxes that you have to
00:49build back into the minigame.
00:51Select BB-8 and use him to play the game, and you'll see a fun little reference to classic retro
00:56games, as well as a movie reference.
00:59If you're able to beat the Space Slug without landing on its mouth, unlike in Empire Strikes Back, you'll be
01:05rewarded with a carbonite brick.
01:12Accurate Model Numbers – LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga
01:16Next up, we've got a super fun detail.
01:19In the Skywalker Saga LEGO game, the characters have serial numbers found on their in-game models.
01:25These model numbers correspond to actual serial numbers found on their real-world physical LEGO counterparts.
01:32So, when you look at a battle droid's forearm, it'll have a real-life number on there.
01:38This is a first for any LEGO game until now, and it just adds that little bit of extra legitimacy
01:44for fans of the games.
01:45Now you can find them in real life, and make a fine addition to your collection.
01:57Classic Box Arts – LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga
02:00The Skywalker Saga is chock-full of secrets and hidden Easter eggs to explore.
02:10While doing so, you may have come across these odd-looking things occasionally.
02:15They appear to be shipping crates, and they actually contain copies of the previous LEGO Star Wars titles.
02:21In the level titled Negotiations, you may find copies of the very first LEGO Star Wars game tucked away in
02:28a corner of the map.
02:29Or in Boarding Party, where you can find a copy of LEGO Star Wars 2 hidden away as well.
02:34How cool is that?
02:36Now that's more like it!
02:39Qua-Gon Jinn's Skills – LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga
02:43These Easter eggs. We will look for them. And we will find them.
02:48But for now, let's talk about this one.
02:50The LEGO Skywalker Saga references a ton of movies and shows, both classic and new.
02:56One of these fun references is found in Qua-Gon Jinn's dialogue.
03:00Whenever he's able to use the Force in one of the game's mini-puzzles, he might say...
03:04I have a particular set of skills that will come in handy here.
03:08If you're not too keen on Liam Neeson movies, this is a reference to the movie Taken,
03:14in which the actor of Qua-Gon Jinn, Liam Neeson, also plays the main character. Neat!
03:20I will look for you. I will find you. And I will kill you.
03:26Easter Egg Quest Names – LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga
03:30Even better than the Taken reference, we have these totally unexpected quest name Easter eggs.
03:36A few of the levels found throughout the game pay homage to various TV shows and song names,
03:41using puns in their names to reference them.
03:44If you come across Better Call Mall and thought it sounded a little bit like a certain AMC show,
03:49that's because it is.
03:53You might also find the Chewbacca Defense to be a South Park reference,
03:57and if you're quick, you may have noticed a level titled Star Killer Queen,
04:01being a reference to Queen's Killer Queen.
04:04Return of the Hot Tub Stormtroopers – LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga
04:13There's nothing better than a dip in the hot tub after a long day's honest work.
04:18At least these stormtroopers seem to think so.
04:20With possibly one of the most recognizable hidden areas from the early Star Wars games,
04:25we'll find one of the funniest Easter eggs on the Tantive IV.
04:29During boarding party, when looking for escape pods,
04:31you may stumble across this group of stormtroopers in a hot tub,
04:35uttering,
04:36This is not the pod you're looking for.
04:38It's one big reference to the original Easter egg from LEGO Star Wars 2.
04:43This is not the pod you're looking for.
04:45A heartwarming cameo.
04:47LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga
04:54In the Skywalker Saga,
04:55you may stumble upon a curious pink astromech droid named R2-KT.
05:00The droid was created by the R2 Builders Club for a young Star Wars fan fighting a terminal illness.
05:06And what's really cool is that Clone Wars director Dave Filoni saw that
05:10and decided to give the droid a cameo.
05:13It has since been featured in tons of Star Wars media,
05:16and both The Force Awakens and its LEGO game most recently in the Skywalker Saga.
05:22This heartfelt tribute continues to emphasize Star Wars fans' strong sense of community.
05:34Secret Boss Fight Titles
05:36LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga
05:42Chances are you've stumbled upon Arabesh sometime while watching or playing Star Wars.
05:47It's a fictional alphabet used to write galactic basic language.
05:51The language most of the aliens speak.
05:53It's all over the galaxy, featured on ads, screens, and signs.
05:58The developers of the Skywalker Saga decided to make a few hidden jokes with this language.
06:02And some of them are found in each Boss Fight's title card.
06:06Darth Maul's reads,
06:07Red Dude with a Bad Attitude,
06:09or Jango Fett's reading,
06:11Donor for the Clone Army.
06:12The most foul one being Doku's saying,
06:16Never loses his head.
06:17Pretty rude considering Episode 3.
06:21Have I lost my head?
06:23Musical Chairs
06:24LEGO Star Wars The Complete Saga
06:27A classic Easter egg, or more so maybe just a gag,
06:31is dancing musical chairs across LEGO games.
06:34Not only has it been featured in future LEGO Star Wars games,
06:37but also in games such as LEGO Harry Potter.
06:40And if there's one thing people remember about the originals,
06:43it's the dancing chairs from the beginning of the very first level negotiations.
06:47Use the force on the chairs, and they'll start grooving.
06:51This seemingly random joke has since featured in numerous LEGO games,
06:55and most recently in the Skywalker Saga.
06:58So go check it out.
07:00Spider-Man Movie Reference
07:01LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga
07:03Execute Order 67
07:07Yes, my lord.
07:09No, no.
07:11Not 67.
07:14Order 66.
07:16Execute Order 66.
07:19Excelsior!
07:20As one particular man would always say,
07:22in the Skywalker Saga,
07:24there is a super subtle movie reference
07:26to the original Sam Raimi Spider-Man movies.
07:29As Order 66 begins,
07:30all the Jedi are betrayed by their clone squads,
07:33and Obi-Wan is betrayed by Commander Cody.
07:36Just as Cody is about to fire at him,
07:38Obi-Wan dances off the ledge
07:40and proceeds to hide underneath it.
07:42It outright mirrors the scene
07:44where Spider-Man has to hide under the balcony
07:46so he isn't seen by Norman Osborn.
07:49Incredibly subtle,
07:50and incredibly awesome.
07:55So uncivilized.
07:56Word of God.
07:58LEGO Star Wars The Complete Saga
08:02The Name of God
08:06Jehovah
08:08Indiana Jones
08:09Always Knew Someday You'd Come Walking Back Through My Door
08:13It's definitely safe to say
08:14that the most referenced outside franchise in Star Wars
08:17is the other beloved LucasArts IP, Indiana Jones.
08:21They share the same creators
08:22and both have the same actor in a lead role.
08:25But one extremely subtle Easter egg
08:28is found in LEGO Star Wars 2
08:29as well as the Complete Saga.
08:31There's a mini-kit across a gap
08:33with steps on it
08:34that are supposed to resemble
08:35the Word of God test
08:36from Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade.
08:39Oh dear.
08:47J.J. Abrams and Kathleen Kennedy
08:49Most people know George Lucas
08:53as the father of Star Wars.
08:55You would think they would have made him a playable character
08:58in the LEGO games by now,
08:59especially since Stan Lee is a playable character
09:02in the Marvel LEGO games.
09:03Instead, the closest thing we got
09:05is the new president of Lucasfilm,
09:07Kathleen Kennedy,
09:08and the main director of the new Star Wars movies,
09:11J.J. Abrams.
09:12Furthermore,
09:13they're only playable in LEGO The Force Awakens,
09:16which just makes this fact even more obscure.
09:19It is pretty neat, though.
09:20They're even on set with a whole green screen.
09:23Secret 2005 level,
09:25LEGO Star Wars The Video Game.
09:31Ah, yes.
09:33The original LEGO Star Wars game.
09:35There's more than enough interesting secrets
09:37and tidbits you could mention about this one,
09:39but that's a topic for another time.
09:41Technically, you could even say
09:43the entire third act,
09:45Revenge of the Sith,
09:46is a secret level
09:47because it actually released months before the movie.
09:50So, you could spoil yourself
09:52the entire Episode 3 plot
09:54through a LEGO game.
09:55But the real secret level we want to talk about
09:58is the bonus level,
09:59A New Hope,
10:00based on the movie.
10:01You have to fill up the Jedi meter
10:03in every chapter
10:04as well as complete the super kit vehicle,
10:07after which,
10:07you'll play as Darth Vader
10:09and a stormtrooper boarding the Tantive IV.
10:11So cool.
10:18Kylo Ren's secret room,
10:21LEGO Star Wars The Force Awakens.
10:22With a character that's been described
10:24as a wannabe Darth Vader,
10:26or a villain throwing anger tantrums,
10:28it's only perfect in character
10:30for his room to look like this.
10:32In LEGO The Force Awakens,
10:33you'll find Kylo Ren's hidden room
10:35tucked away on Dankar.
10:37Open the Poe to the rescue level
10:39and select Hangar Battle,
10:40then make your way to a hallway
10:42with two oxygen canisters on the left.
10:44Break them,
10:45and you'll find Kylo's room,
10:47full of Darth Vader merch
10:48and fan posters.
10:50It even has a toy TIE Fighter
10:51and X-Wing.
10:53Alien Xenomorph reference.
10:55LEGO Star Wars 3 The Clone Wars.
11:03It's time to address
11:04the alien in the room.
11:06They mostly come at night.
11:08Mostly.
11:09Not only is LEGO Clone Wars
11:11one of the most underrated LEGO games,
11:13it also has some of the most
11:14underrated Easter eggs.
11:15In the Legacy of Terror level,
11:17we find various genotions
11:18and end up entering
11:20a dark cave network.
11:21Fans of the Alien franchise
11:23will quickly notice a lot
11:24of awfully close similarities
11:26while progressing the level.
11:28We eventually find
11:29the Alien Queen,
11:30accompanied by a small nod
11:32to facehuggers in the cutscene.
11:34And then,
11:34it suddenly cuts to a power loader,
11:37confirming the reference entirely.
11:45What's your favorite Easter egg
11:47hidden in a LEGO Star Wars,
11:48or any LEGO game for that matter?
