00:00we're not going to get drawn into the conflict proper we will defend British
00:05interests and British lives in the region particularly in the Gulf allied
00:10states and obviously our allies there and we are working on a viable plan for
00:19these Straits of Hormuz which I want to come back to so it's not our war but it
00:24is our duty to protect British citizens particularly their concern will be not
00:29just the escalation of the war but this sense that it's going to hit them and
00:34their families and their households and I think probably uppermost in their minds
00:37at the moment is energy bills petrol and also food prices on household energy
00:45bills as you've probably seen we've already taken action for the time being
00:51and therefore this Wednesday household energy bills will go down by just over
00:55hundred pounds on average and then stay down until the end of June whatever
01:00happens in the conflict but we need to look at what else needs to be done what
01:06else can be done and that's why I wanted to talk to you so thank you very much for
01:10giving up all the time
