00:11Welcome to MojoPlays, and today we're taking a look at eight times where Sweet Tooth graced
00:17us with his presence, or at least his truck's presence in other video games.
00:29Before we begin, we publish new videos all week long, so be sure to subscribe to MojoPlays,
00:34and ring the bell to be notified about our latest videos.
00:38Hot Shots Golf 2 The Hot Shots Golf games have already seen a handful
00:48of PlayStation characters join in on the golfing fun.
00:51Hot Shots 2 was the first game in the franchise to kick off this tradition, and Sweet Tooth
00:56was among the first of the guest golfers.
00:59Unfortunately, his stats aren't the greatest.
01:09Sweet Tooth boasts excellent power and control in his swings, but don't expect balls to
01:14bounce or spin as much.
01:15Even worse, as you can probably tell from the video, this is the Twisted Metal 3 iteration
01:21of Sweet Tooth.
01:22Honestly, we would have preferred the weirder, original version from TM1.
01:26You know, the one with the green hair.
01:35War of the Monsters
01:44Though we will forever remember Incognito Entertainment for its debut game, Twisted Metal
01:49Black, we often forget about War of the Monsters.
01:53This was another PS2 gem from the company where players could fight each other while wreaking
01:57havoc in various cities and towns.
01:59But did you know that one of the monsters doubles as a secret guest character?
02:03Agamo has a secret fourth costume that allows you to play as a mecha version of Sweet Tooth.
02:16However, you cannot access this through normal means.
02:19You must have a save file for Twisted Metal Black on your PS2 in order to unlock this skin.
02:33PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale
02:45Twisted Metal got a ton of love in PlayStation All-Stars.
02:48We had Black Rock Stadium as a stage, as well as miniature versions of Mr. Grimm and Dollface
02:53to cheer us on the sidelines.
02:55As for our main man, Sweet Tooth, developer Super Bot Entertainment pulled all the stops.
03:01Our psychotic clown came with his trademark machete, as well as chainsaws, molotovs, shotguns,
03:06missiles, and, ultimate level 3 super of all time, Sweet Bot.
03:18What's funny about this outing was that co-creator David Jaffe himself confirmed this crossover's
03:24place in Twisted Metal.
03:26We were told, quote, Sweet Tooth will return in the fight of his life, end quote.
03:31According to Jaffe, this was in reference to PlayStation All-Stars, which released the
03:36same year as TM12.
03:38Do you guys know what that means?
03:39It means that Parappa is canon to Twisted Metal.
03:45I don't know if you got any money in that skirt of yours, but one way or the other, you're
03:51paying for it.
03:53Starhawk.
04:01If you played enough of PlayStation All-Stars, you probably got a glimpse of a very peculiar
04:05costume for Sweet Tooth.
04:07What's with all the green and blue fire?
04:10Well, this is a skin Sweet Tooth was given as a means to promote the oft-forgotten 2012
04:15PS3 gem, Starhawk.
04:23And very, very few players got their hands on it.
04:27See, Starhawk didn't exactly sell gangbusters.
04:31Neither did TM12.
04:32And the only way you could play this bizarre iteration of Sweet Tooth in Starhawk was if
04:37you had pre-ordered Twisted Metal.
04:39What's worse is that this skin is only usable in Starhawk's online multiplayer mode, which,
04:45as you might expect, is no longer active.
04:48And so, Sweet Tooth's appearance here only lives on in the form of YouTube videos.
05:03Team Fortress 2.
05:09In all honesty, Sweet Tooth doesn't exactly appear in TF2.
05:14So, why is he even on the list?
05:16Well, TF2 has a seemingly never-ending wardrobe of costumes for each of its nine character classes.
05:22For the Pyro, you can equip a pair of white and red polka-dot pants and a clown mask that
05:28look very eerily like Sweet Tooth.
05:33We know it's not official, and there's no flaming hair to accompany the Pyro, but the names of
05:38these two cosmetics, Fire Tooth and Flavorful Baggies, tell us this is absolutely a nod to
05:45Twisted Metal.
05:50Payday 2.
05:57Speaking of games with masks for cosmetics, Payday 2 features a wide range of masks to
06:03acquire and deck out your character with.
06:05But in 2014, PlayStation 3 players got an extra special mask for their character.
06:11For a limited time, PS3 players were able to download Sweet Tooth's own mask.
06:15Unfortunately, this was the only time you could get it.
06:19Even though Payday 2 was brought to PS4, Sweet Tooth's mask was not brought along with it.
06:25Why you can no longer get it is a mystery, and with Payday 3 flubbing its launch and Twisted
06:29Metal having little relevance in gaming in 2024, we doubt Sony is going to revisit this brief,
06:35yet neat, crossover.
06:37ModNation Racers.
06:39Sort of the sick and twisted fantasies of a game like Twisted Metal.
06:43If you remember Sony's long-forgotten Kart Racer, you might remember an interesting promotion
06:48that was run to boost pre-orders.
06:50Depending on where you ordered your copy of ModNation Racers, you could receive exclusive
06:55karts and drivers based on other PlayStation characters.
06:59After launch, more PlayStation guest characters were added to the game, and among them was Sweet Tooth.
07:05What excites me is to see the characters that I've had a hand in creating spread out to other games.
07:14In addition to having the psychotic clown as a driver, you could also drive the TMB version of his ice
07:19cream truck
07:20with his machine guns equipped.
07:22The guns don't work, unfortunately, and because the game is no longer listed on PSN's storefront,
07:27none of the DLC for ModNation is purchasable anymore.
07:32Not even dear old Sweet Tooth.
07:34When they first emailed me the pictures of Sweet Tooth and Kratos for ModNation,
07:40you know, they're cute. I mean, they're f***ing cute.
07:42Rocket League.
07:51Do you play Rocket League on PlayStation?
07:53If so, then you most likely have the legendary Sweet Tooth truck.
07:58If you don't, don't worry. It's super easy to unlock.
08:02All you have to do is win an online match with the Merc, Venom, and Gizmo vehicles.
08:13You'll even get Sweet Tooth's wheels, boost, and clown head to equip onto your other cars.
08:19As for the truck itself, customization is very, very limited, and despite cross-play support,
08:26Rocket League players on other platforms will see Merc instead of the famed ice cream truck.
08:31Man, why did I gotta disrespect my boy like that?
08:40Which of these was your favorite crossover with Twisted Metal?
08:43Let us know down in the comments, and don't forget to subscribe to Mojo Plays for more great videos every
08:48day.
08:49A round ball of heaven balanced on a delicate cone, so pleasing to the senses.
08:56Who doesn't love an ice cream cone?
08:58Thanks for watching. If you enjoyed the video, there's more where that came from.
