01:29but he played big particularly down the stretch the other night against Houston and he's got a very versatile game
01:35he can certainly get it going at any time I expect him to touch the ball early and often for
01:40Minnesota offensively and those four wins they've got without Anthony Edwards are building confidence that this team thinks they can
01:46make another deep postseason run there are the numbers from Wednesday he hit the game winning shot in overtime on

05:04well Dave since Kate Cunningham has been sidelined
05:08the Pistons are 4-1 in part because of the great play
05:10of second year guard Danish Jenkins
05:13his play may come as a surprise
05:14to people outside the organization
05:16but his teammates and coaches expected this
05:19when you look at his young career
05:20he played for four different schools in college
05:22the last season the most pivotal
05:24under Rick Pitino at St. John's
05:26he went undrafted in 2024
05:28and joined the Pistons G League team
05:30being named to the all rookie team his first season
05:33J.B. Bickerstaff says Jenkins exudes confidence
05:35he talks a whole lot of smack
05:37and is a natural born leader
05:39you need depth to win a title in this league
05:42well Jenkins is proving Detroit's got it
05:43at the guard position Dave
05:45they said they knew at the end of last year
05:47when he was lighting up the G League
05:49and dominating in summer league
05:50they had something special
05:52I don't know if anybody could have seen this
05:54what he's been able to do without Kate Cunningham
05:57the responsibility that he's been given
05:59to take control of this offense
06:01and he has far exceeded
06:02I think expectations as a playmaker
06:04you knew he could score
06:05he's been a pretty consistent three-point shooter
06:08but now the decision-making that he has
06:11on a possession-by-possession basis
06:12so important and so valuable now
06:15to know that they've got a guy like this
06:17that can do the job he's called upon
06:18you look at the last five games without the All-Stars
06:22Cunningham and Edwards for the respective teams
06:24we will get you injury updates on both here
06:27throughout the afternoon

06:40Detroit will play six of those nine on the road
