00:19Its chief executive officer, Khalid Mohamed, said the operations led to the removal of
00:24more than 1,700 tons of waste, with cleanup costs estimated at nearly half a million ringgit.
00:31In a statement on Saturday, Khalid said these enforcement activities followed over 4,200
00:37intelligence operations, resulting in fines totaling 335,000 ringgit.
00:43A total of 21 illegal dumping cases were also brought to court under the Solid Waste and
00:49Public Cleansing Management Act.
00:51Over the weekend, 78 littering offenders carried out community cleaning works across six states
00:57in peninsular Malaysia.
