23:22Um, well, this was a night out in Vegas with my friends.
23:27And we wanted to go incognito for the night.
23:29We were like, it'll be fun.
23:30Let's wear wigs.
23:31And first of all,
23:33my friends told me I looked really good in this wig
23:35before we went out.
23:37And I'm not so sure that I did,
23:38especially after a night of, you know,
23:40drinking in Vegas.
23:40I think you do.
23:41I like it.
23:43Did you have a name for this character?
23:45Um, I didn't.
23:47No.
23:47She doesn't need a name.
23:48She doesn't need to be remembered.
23:49But here she is on The Tonight Show, whatever.

24:40it's a mumble jumble of my last name, Earl.

24:45my friends always made fun of me
24:46because a lot of, like,
24:48at the time when I was getting some traction on TikTok,
24:51people were like,
24:52she's so real, she's so real.
24:53And they were like, Alex, I mean,
24:54they're just saying anything you do is so real.
24:55So my friends would sort of mock me about it
24:57and it became a thing.
24:59But it's something that always resonated with my content.
25:01I just thought, you know,
25:01I'm being honest on there and being real
25:03and it's something I would use with my personal brand.
25:06And then when I was sitting in my, like,
25:08childhood bedroom one day
25:09and it was just on my notes app
25:10sort of, like, playing around with my name
25:12and I knew I wanted to create a brand.
25:15And I, you know...
25:16This was when?
25:16When you were in high school?
25:17No.
25:17Right after I graduated college.
25:19This is, wow.
25:20So August of 2023.
25:22Yeah.
25:22And I was just playing around
25:24with the word real and my last name
25:25and I was like,
25:26oh, this would be a really cool name for a brand.
25:28And before I even knew what it was going to be.
25:30Before you do anything.
25:30And you actually brought us a screenshot
25:32of your notes app.
25:33Yes.
25:33From August 10th, 2023.
25:36There you go.

26:04So I was just scared of anyone
26:06leaking this brand before it got out.
26:08So I didn't really even tell that many people
26:10besides, like, my very, very close circle.
26:12And I sent friends, like, puzzle pieces.
26:14It was a whole, you know, live, I guess, game
26:17for everyone to figure out what was going on
26:19and WTF is Alex doing.
26:21And it sort of, it became, like,
26:22a little bit of a phenomenon
26:23in the past two days.
26:24And your friends were like,
26:24what do I do with this puzzle piece?
26:25I sent them a puzzle piece
26:27and a locked suitcase.
26:28I was like, just post the puzzle piece
26:29and, like, I promise it's all going to make sense soon.
26:31And they were like,
26:32can I not open this nice suitcase you sent me?
26:34Yeah.
26:35Like, can I get in here?
26:35But then everything became,
26:39every piece that was posted.
26:40Yes.
26:41So we also had a billboard up in Soho
26:44where as people were posting the pieces,
26:46they were putting them up on the billboard.
26:47So you could kind of see it coming together
26:49in real time.

27:19And I go to post it on TikTok today.
27:23And I'm ready for the announcement.

27:28I'm celebrating.
