00:00Hello everyone. We're so excited and it's been a really, really long time in the making.
00:05Obviously been in football recess for the last two years.
00:09You know, Brouford's situated in a really unique location, I would say.
00:13You know, we're in the middle of eight different leagues from major to minor.
00:17And, you know, we've got challenges in that space sometimes when there's changing age groups
00:22and just all the different factors in football and the ball world.
00:25And, you know, having to make a decision deliberately to go into recess was a really smart move for us.
00:32And we all back it in because it gave us a chance to reassess, reset,
00:37and not just do the same thing over and over again and not go anywhere.
00:40We're losing all our kids to major league competitions.
00:43We're very close to Seymour and also Kilmore in the Northern.
00:46So they've got different age groups and opportunities, but we just weren't retaining.
00:50So we thought, well, we've got strong junior pathways.
00:54Why not set a new challenge for our club?
00:57And have a look at Major League of Footy and Netball.
01:00And the Bendigo League was where we landed and it took a lot of work.
01:05Let me tell you, I have aged severely.
01:09So a lot more Botox and hair appointments because it's been so stressful.
01:14I'm joking.
01:15Anyway, so, yeah, it's been a long time coming.
01:18The community are really excited about it.
01:20And, yeah, I'll shut up because I like shorts.
01:21I'm like, oh, yeah.
01:21And then probably, yeah, that's a little alone.
01:21Yeah.
01:21Well, in the meantime, get back, I just take a moment.
01:22And then I'm going to try.
