00:002024 Premiers, has it sunk in yet?

00:04Not yet, it still feels surreal.

00:07For the boys to come together and play the way they did today

00:12and get the result, it feels like a bit of a fairytale to be honest.

00:17I'm just so proud of the players and the whole footy club.

00:21It's amazing.

00:23It's a copybook win too, if you'd planned it right down to a tee

00:28it's exactly what you delivered.

00:30Yeah, we did.

00:32The players, they just brought into what we had to do to win this game this week

00:36and they executed it to near perfection.

00:40We got the game played the way we wanted it all day.

00:43We knuckled down when we had to, we shut it down when we had to,

00:47we tried to stretch it when we had to.

00:49We knew they were going to try and open us up

00:51and we kept shutting them down every time they tried.

00:55The discipline of the players just to do that all day

00:59when they were just consistently trying to break us, trying to break us

01:02and we stood up.

01:04Yeah, just so proud of them.

01:06In the three-quarter time, you've got a nice lead

01:09but you're kicking against the tide as far as the wind goes.

01:13Tricky wind all day to kick with.

01:15You can't afford to save the game at that point.

01:17You've got to still attack the game.

01:19What was the message?

01:20The message was we'd build our game for this moment.

01:25Our DNA and what we are as a group was set up for this moment,

01:30for the ability to control the source, be hard at the contest,

01:34apply elite pressure and dictate the ground from there.

01:37All we needed to do was do that for another 30

01:40and we knew that if that stood up and we maintained our coverage,

01:44it was going to be really hard for them to score.

01:46The key was to not let them get momentum in multiple majors

01:50and every time they got a goal, the boys just rose to another level.

01:54There's some sore boys out there, there's some boys carrying

01:56and they just dug and they dug and they dug.

01:58It was amazing.

02:00It's all about club and today we've seen, amazingly,

02:04Dales would pull off the big double.

02:06Yep.

02:07The senior football and the A-grade netball.

02:09Yep.

02:10I mean that, it is, it's just unbelievable.

02:13Oh, it's surreal to have an A-grade netball team two to three years ago

02:17and seeing your football team struggling and then, you know,

02:20if someone had said in two or three years' time we'll win the double,

02:23they would have laughed at you.

02:24But full credit to everyone at the club that stuck through

02:28and dug in and got it done.

02:30Yeah, it was a really good effort.
