00:06let's start with dancing with the stars what is one thing you were surprised to learn about yourself
00:10during your season and your tour when the season ended and the tour ended i think i was most
00:15surprised that i just want dance to be a forever part of my life i went into dancing with the
00:21stars
00:21having zero dance experience i had never even taken a dance class so the fact that i walked
00:27away from it thinking well now how do i incorporate dance every single day was really shocking to me
00:33previous contestant harry jowzy recently said he's glad he's not friends with anyone from dancing with
00:38the stars anymore how would you describe the friendships that you've made through the show
00:42my friendships that i made through dancing with the stars i know are going to be lifelong kasha and danny
00:49are truly like members of my family their daughter kiki i love her like a daughter doing the tour made
00:55me grow closer to all of them because you know when you're on the show you really only get to
00:59spend a
00:59significant amount of time with your partner i got to really bond and connect with ezra i got to really
01:05connect with val and jenna and obviously when my kids got to come and visit and spend time with us
01:11having rome and kiki and my two boys play together and seeing them have the time of their lives was
01:18really rewarding we know you partnered with lysol to make life that much easier and cleaner tell us
01:24about that yes well i really fell in love with my lysol lavender and cotton blossom scented products
01:29when i was on tour i am meticulous i like everything in its place and i like everything to be
01:35clean
01:35and when you have small kids around there are little sticky traces everywhere so both danny and i were
01:43running around making sure everything was clean and smelling good and free of 99.9 of germs
01:50also can i just say the dancing with the stars cameo from our beloved mr feeney was the sweetest
01:56and bill daniels is turning 99 in a few days what do you even get as a 99 birthday gift

02:04really good question you know i think the older you get the more sentimental you get about things and bill
02:11has had such an incredible career i'd love to go back and think like find maybe some pictures of
02:18some of his original jobs because you know he was a child performer and he was a tap dancer and
02:23like
02:23i don't know i just want to go back to that you know 1920s time period and see if i
02:30could find
02:30something for him maybe a nice framed photo of him and his sister or something then girl meets world
02:36expanded that universe and of course sabrina carpenter totally blew up since we love your
02:41relationship you've shared the advice you gave her about navigating the industry but what's one thing
02:46she unexpectedly taught you oh sabrina gives me great advice for being as significantly younger than
02:52me she is one of my go-to people to ask for advice because she's got great instincts and she
03:00knows
03:00how to trust them and i admire that so much because i'm a person who's talked myself out of my
03:04instincts
03:05over the years so whenever i really need to be reminded that i probably know the answer to the
03:11question i go to her and she's like i think you probably already know this i'm like yes you're right
03:17uh so yeah she's she's a real special one we actually talked to her other co-star miss piggy
03:22recently and asked her who would be her ideal man for sabrina she said anyone i don't have my eyes
03:28on
03:28first how would you answer that question my dream man for sabrina is someone who treats
03:34her like the queen that she is and that makes her happy after your cancer diagnosis in 2024 you
03:44said you wanted to spark more joy in your life which is why dancing with the stars was an immediate
03:49yes what is sparking joy for you these days currently sparking joy i absolutely love hosting
03:55my podcasts i love being with writer and will every single week being with friends who have known you
04:02you since you were 12 years old and are willing to support you through the highs and lows of your
04:10life and now to be raising families together and to see them thrive those kinds of relationships
04:16really remind you like what you know what life is about and then also just watching my kids start to
04:23thrive seeing them in dance class my oldest is very interested in baseball and he's a really good baseball
04:28player really watching them become the people they're going to be is bringing me a lot of joy and then
04:36also i'm still loving dance i'm trying to think of self-care as not being a luxury or an indulgence
04:42it's a bare minimum that i owe to myself uh to keep myself active enough that i can do the
04:49things
04:49that will bring me joy like dancing danielle thank you so much for being here today thank you
