00:05Mr. White Cheeks is an Arabian sand cat that lives in Africa. He was having some
00:10sneezing and a little snotty nose, and so we decided to try an inhaler to see if
00:14we could treat those symptoms.
00:24We had to do small steps to get him to accept us putting a mask on his face,
00:29but he's doing really well.
00:31First we just set down the mask and let him smell it and check it out, and then I put
00:35some catnip in it so he would kind of come closer and stick his nose in it a little bit,
00:39and then I put a little food in it so he would stick his whole face in it.
00:42We took little steps of putting the mask on his face for one second, and then a couple
00:47more seconds, and extending the time.
00:54It's exactly like an inhaler that people have, and they spray it and inhale it, but
01:00we needed the tube to put against his face so that he would breathe in the medicine.
01:14When he had a stuffed up nose, he slept a lot more and was less active, but since we started
01:20giving him the medicine, he can breathe better and he can run around.
01:34My favorite thing about Mr. White Cheeks is he is just adorable.
01:38Everything he does is so cute, but he's not a house cat.
01:42He doesn't behave the same as a house cat, so he doesn't want me to hug him and cuddle
01:46him, but I do think he is adorable.
01:48Thank you so much.
01:49Bye man!
