00:35and instead presented a five-point counterproposal. One key condition stands out. Iran demands control
00:43over the Strait of Hormuz, the world's most critical oil shipping route. A demand that is likely to be
00:49a non-starter for the Trump administration. President Trump had previously suggested the
00:54waterway could be jointly managed, saying, quote, by me and the Ayatollah. Iran's full list of
01:00conditions includes a halt to what it calls aggression and assassinations, concrete guarantees
01:07that war will not be reimposed, war reparations, an end to conflict across all fronts in the region,
