00:00Beauty in Black Season 2 Part 2 begins where Part 1 ended.
00:04Some guys with masks arrive at Charles' place, and Varney initially assumes that they are police,
00:09but from their shoes, Charles realizes that it is still the same people he killed that called for
00:13backup. They strip the place clean by taking his money, his watch, and everything else in the safe.
00:18Once they leave, Varney is pissed because this whole nightmare stems from Charles constantly
00:23bringing strippers home and making himself a target. Now that Charles has officially added
00:27murderer with a body in the house to his resume, Varney wants no part of it, and walks out without
00:32lifting a finger to help. Charles is forced to call his mom to handle the literal and metaphorical mess,
00:37but she asks him to pay $250k for the cleaners which Charles now needs to find.
00:42As for Jules' son that Rain pushed from the window, he's still alive, and he's rushed to the hospital.
00:47Alex agrees to stick to the story that he fell just to keep the heat off Rain.
00:51Kimmy immediately goes to check on her sister, and the girl reveals that Glenn wasn't trying to rape
00:56her, that it was consensual. Kimmy is baffled that her sister would jump into bed with a total
01:00stranger, but Sylvie is not having it, and reminds Kimmy that she is in no position to judge anyone's
01:05life choices. Sylvie wants to go and check up on the boy, but Kimmy forbids her, because they don't
01:10want it tying to them at all. She wants to send Sylvie to college as soon as possible to get
01:14her as far
01:14away from the Bellary family, which is the best thing she can do right now, because the safety net
01:18Kimmy thinks she has for Rain, Sylvie, and Angel is actually a total illusion. Roy has finally found some
01:24leverage. Even though Kimmy is protected by the will, the changes to the will that protect Rain,
01:28Sylvie, and Angel that Horace thought Varney had filed have not been processed yet. After discovering
01:33that Varney is gay and has been sleeping with Charles, Roy uses this secret to blackmail him
01:38into stalling the legal filings. Varney is forced to call the clerk and ask for the will back under the
01:42guise of making amendments, which means they are officially unprotected and fair game for the
01:46Bellaries. This lack of protection for Rain, Angel, and Sylvie cannot happen at a worse time,
01:51because Jules isn't buying the story that his son fell. Once his instinct is confirmed,
01:56Rain is a goner. Roy is so happy with himself that he celebrates the only way he knows how to,
02:01sleeping with girls and doing cocaine. Over in Italy, it seems Papa Bellary is not going to the
02:06grave just yet, because his treatment was actually successful. He is feeling much better and preparing
02:11to return to America, though the doctors want to keep him for a few more hours of observation.
02:16Mallory, still on her mission to take down Kimmy, heads to the strip club to meet her informant,
02:21Felicia. Since Charles is too traumatized by his recent robbery to go with her,
02:25she drags Varney along instead. It turns out Felicia does not actually have any dirt on Kimmy,
02:30and is just playing games for money. But Mallory does walk away with one juicy piece of information.
02:34Felicia admits she is sleeping with Roy, and he is coming to see her soon. Mallory decides to wait,
02:40and then catches Roy in the act. I thought she was going to go after Roy and beat him up,
02:44but instead she goes after Felicia. The fight at the club eventually dies down,
02:48and Varney takes a shake in Mallory home, marking a turning point in their unlikely friendship.
02:53Mallory is drowning in a mix of sadness and rage, yet she pushes Varney away,
02:57because she cannot stand the thought of his pity. When Varney questions if her anger stems from a
03:01lingering love for Roy, Mallory is quick to shut that down by explaining that their marriage was
03:06purely about survival. The reason she is so livid is not due to a broken heart, but rather the ultimate
03:11disrespect of being discarded after everything she sacrificed to keep the Bellary empire afloat.
03:16Despite seeing how angry she was, Roy has the audacity to bring Felicia back to the family home.
03:22Little do they know, Mallory is also there. Once they enter the bedroom, she locks them in and
03:27heads straight for her car. In the craziest display of anger I have ever seen, she aims the vehicle at
03:32the room and floors it, crashing into the house and sparking a fire. Instead of running, Mallory sits in
03:37the rising smoke and flames, seemingly ready to go down with the ship. The whole time, Angel has been
03:43acting a damn fool, like someone who has never seen money before. He has been going shopping,
03:48buying things, and is at the club right now blowing Horace's money and posting the evidence all over
03:53social media. Even his baby mama comes to attack him because she is struggling while Angel is blowing
03:58almost $39,000 in the club. Horace, who has been watching everything online and calling him repeatedly
04:03with no response, finally loses his patience and sends gunmen to shoot up the club as a gentle reminder.
04:08Angel is given exactly 30 minutes to get to the Bellary mansion because Horace is going to call,
04:14and if he doesn't pick up, he's dead. Except he can't leave because his baby mama has vandalized
04:19his car. It was actually Angel and Rain who came to the club together. Rain wants to buy the club,
04:24so she came to meet the owner's son. But when she was ready to leave, Angel was too busy partying
04:29to
04:29take her seriously. Now he is begging her for help. Rain, having been picked up earlier by Alex,
04:34decides to come back and get him, and they start racing back. But en route, they spot the blaze,
04:39and Alex leaps into action. He manages to pull a dazed Mallory from the smoke, while also rescuing
04:45Roy and Felicia from the inferno. Angel slides into the house just as the phone rings. While he is
04:50shaking with fear, Kimmy and Rain can only laugh because they warned him that his flashy lifestyle
04:55would eventually trigger Horace's wrath. While Varney was at the club with Mallory, a stripper was harassing
05:00him for legal help. Varney eventually meets with him, and the dancer reveals that he and his sister
05:04were caught smuggling drugs and were forced into the stripping circuit to avoid prison. Worse, his
05:09sister witnessed Rain killing Dega and is now in hiding from Jules' enforcers. If he doesn't produce
05:15his sister, he will be killed. It is the exact same system Kimmy was once trapped in. Varney agrees to
05:20take the case, even bringing the stripper home for some consultation time. Their romantic moment is
05:25hilariously interrupted by Charles, who is lurking in the house until Varney literally has to carry him
05:30out. Charles' night doesn't get any better when his mom calls. The $250,000 cleaning fee she asked for
05:36was actually to pay off a debt to some loan sharks who have now slashed her leg. The next day,
05:40Kimmy
05:41attempts to extend an olive branch to Mallory at the office, recognizing that Mallory is the real brains
05:46behind the company's success. Mallory is still blinded by jealousy, believing Kimmy wants Roy,
05:51but Kimmy sets the record straight. She explains that sleeping with Roy was never a choice but a means of
05:56survival, just like it is for Felicia. While Mallory doesn't quite grasp the gravity of that statement
06:01yet, Varney calls her with an urgent need to meet face-to-face. The clock is ticking down to the
06:06moment Mallory realizes the women around her are not rivals, but victims of a trafficking operation
06:11run by Jules and Norman. As for Jules, he is told his son is brain dead with the doctors planning
06:17to
06:17unplug him. But when Jules returns to the hospital room, Sylvie is already there to say she's sorry.
06:22Kimmy and Rain specifically told Angel to watch over Sylvie, but the guy is so incompetent that
06:27Sylvie has managed to slip away. And now she has to explain to Jules why she is sorry.
06:33Sylvie tries to lie her way out of it, claiming she is just there for a friendly visit because Glenn
06:37was
06:38nice to her, but Jules is no novice. He refuses to let Sylvie go, forces her to stay by his
06:43side as
06:43his son is unplugged from life support, and demands she accompany him to the morgue. Kimmy is still under
06:49the impression that Sylvie is at home. She calls to check on her sister, and Sylvie fakes being in
06:54bed. But Jules may not be able to touch Sylvie, because Kimmy has managed to file the will.
06:59Horace found out about the delay and told her to stay on Varney's neck, but since Jules is still
07:03operating on Roy's old tip about the delay, he might still think the girls are fair game.
07:08Charles is at the hospital waiting for his mom when he receives a phone call from the people she owes.
07:12His mom fakes the woman being a church member, but the woman has already told Charles that his mom
07:17owes her money. It turns out the people who robbed Charles were sent by his own mother.
07:21She was also the one who sent people to rob Horace. Being a gambling addict, she has been
07:25trying to scrape together money to pay back her debts, and she betrayed and robbed her own son
07:29for it. Since she was only able to steal $40,000 from Charles' safe, she now threatens him, giving him
07:35two days to find $250,000, or the bodies she helped him clean up will turn up in places he
07:40doesn't want.
07:41Charles is devastated that even his mother could treat him this way. He tries to get Varney to help,
07:46but Varney does not care. Charles then tries Roy. Even worse, Roy is too busy sulking over Mallory
07:52trying to kill him to care about anything else. At the end of the day, Charles calls his father for
07:56help, but Horace refuses too. Though knowing Horace, Olivia crossing him like that won't go
08:01unanswered, so Charles might still benefit from whatever revenge comes next, but for now he cannot
08:06get the money Olivia is demanding. Varney eventually gets to speak with Mallory, and he wants to use the
08:11information he got from the stripper to take down the Bellaries and even Charles.
08:15Mallory cannot let them take down Roy entirely though, because they are legally tied together by
08:19marriage. His shares disappear, hers disappear too. They settle on incapacitating Roy and sending
08:24the other Bellaries to jail, using the trafficking information. But they need to know if Horace is
08:29involved, and that means they need Kimmy. Mallory tells Kimmy they need to work together.
08:33She has dug up everything, how Kimmy was a straight-A student whose life got derailed when
08:38her stepfather was abusing her, how she ended up caught smuggling with Rain, and how Rain was born in
08:42prison, right through to everything they endured in foster care. Mallory finds common ground in
08:47their shared trauma, revealing she was also an orphan in the foster care system before Horace
08:51plucked her out during a modeling search. The plan to take down the Bellary empire hinges on the
08:56stripper and his sister, who are currently holed up in a hotel. Varney heads there to secure them,
09:01but Jules' men already have the location. Just as it looks like they are about to be caught,
09:06Alex comes to the rescue. Jules' man doesn't know Alex is working for Kimmy now,
09:10so Alex is able to lead him astray and guide Varney to spirit the witnesses away to safety.
09:14The team is set to meet at the Bellary mansion to strategize, but Mallory teaches Roy and Felicia
09:19a quick lesson first. Roy is actively trying to provoke Mallory by inviting Felicia into the
09:24office to flaunt their relationship right in front of her, and Mallory gets even by drenching them both
09:28in scalding hot coffee. A chaotic physical fight breaks out, with Kimmy and Rain jumping in to help
09:33Mallory beat up Roy just before Alex arrives to pull the women away. When Kimmy gets home and is told
09:38Sylvie has been asleep all day, something doesn't sit right. She goes to check for herself and finds
09:43a wig and pillows arranged in the bed. Panic sets in as she realizes her sister is likely with Jules,
09:49but the situation at the morgue takes a surprising turn. When Jules informs Glenn's mother about his
09:54death, he discovers the tragic truth that his son likely fell because he had a seizure caused by her
09:58drug use during pregnancy. Jules didn't even know his son had that condition because he was barely
10:03present in the boy's life. What's even more disturbing is her complete lack of grief that
10:08her son is dead. In a fit of rage, Jules wipes out the entire household of dealers, including her,
10:13before releasing Sylvie with a terrifying warning to stay silent. When Sylvie finally gets home,
10:18Kimmy is furious at first because she specifically told her not to go near that boy, but Sylvie makes
10:23her sister understand why she slept with Glenn. After everything she went through with their stepfather,
10:28it was about reclaiming control, trying to replace trauma with something she actually chose.
10:32She wanted a good sexual experience to erase the bad ones, and Kimmy finally understands.
10:37The brush with death convinces Sylvie to listen, and she agrees to head to college to escape the
10:42Bellary shadow. The team knows the trafficking players are Norman and Jules, but there is a third
10:47name attached to the dirty money, Mallory. Roy had been using an old alias to funnel dirty money into
10:52shell companies in Mallory's name without her knowledge. Suspicion immediately falls on Mallory,
10:57but Kimmy realizes it is a setup. It's the same alias Roy used for Kimmy, back when he didn't
11:03want her to know he was a Bellary. They agree on a game plan and call a board meeting for
11:07the next day,
11:08one that every member must attend. The family tries to postpone it, arguing that per their bylaws all
11:14board members must be present, but Horace arrives back in the US just in time. Kimmy lays everything
11:19out. Per the will, any member proven to be an addict forfeits their shares until they get clean.
11:24Roy refuses to provide a urine sample, so a hair follicle test is done, which confirms he is an
11:29addict. His shares are stripped, and this does not affect Mallory's. For Charles, the murders he committed
11:35result in his shares being frozen until he is cleared. For Olivia, she has been siphoning money out of the
11:41company through radio stations and other channels. For Norman, beyond the siphoning, there is also the
11:46trafficking operation he has been running with Jules. Roy tries to counter, bringing up the fact that
11:51Mallory killed Norman's wife, which Mallory flatly denies. Norman also reveals that he has tied the
11:56company into so much illegal activity that a large portion of Beauty and Black's revenue runs through
12:01shady dealings, and he threatens to expose everything and take them all down with him if he is pushed out.
12:06That is when Horace, Mallory, and Kimmy reveal their trump card. They have already cut a deal with the
12:12feds, who storm the room and arrest the corrupt members of the family. The victory is bittersweet,
12:16though, because several loose ends remain. Rain appears to have walked into a scam after handing
12:21over $75,000 to Delinda's son for the club, and he was acting very shady throughout. Olivia's unpaid
12:27debts are still looming. Norman will almost certainly come after Mallory and Jules for covering up his
12:32wife's murder, and Jules has already figured out that Alex has been working against him, so Alex's
12:37days are numbered. As for Charles, honestly, the guy didn't really do much wrong compared to the others,
12:42so it is hard to feel like his punishment fits.
