00:00One infamous adult-themed Animal Crossing New Horizons island has closed its doors as
00:04its creator claims Nintendo has deleted its dream address, stopping visitors from seeing
00:08its raunchy secrets.
00:09As reported by Automaton, ex-user Chirup CCC is the player behind the so-called adult-only
00:15island, which has been alive and kicking since 2020.
00:17It includes everything from its own red light district to a love hotel, strip club and casino.
00:22It might just be the opposite of the wholesome experience Nintendo had in mind when creating
00:26the game.
00:27Well, now it's claimed that Nintendo might not have taken too kindly to the island,
00:31even if it's taken more than five years to do anything about it.
00:35Actually, just a day before the update, the dream address for the adult island was deleted
00:39by Nintendo, Chirup CCC claims in a post translated by Automaton.
00:43To Nintendo, I apologise from the bottom of my heart.
00:46Or rather, thank you for turning a blind eye for more than five years.
00:49Of course, the user only says this removal applies to their dream address, which is a
00:53separate thing to that actual save data.
00:55So, the island almost certainly still exists in its base form, it just can't be visited
00:59by the masses anymore.
01:01And given Chirup CCC's apology, it doesn't seem likely that they'll be attempting to re-open
01:05any time soon.
