00:00We are in agony.
00:02Yeah.
00:03We are in agony.
00:07It is unbearable.
00:14And to think of what she went through.
00:17It's been 53 days since Nancy Guthrie was taken from her Arizona home in the middle of the night.
00:23Her daughter, Today Show anchor Savannah Guthrie, is now giving her first interview since the shocking disappearance.
00:29The sit-down will air in two parts on Thursday, March 26th, and Friday, March 27th.
00:35On Wednesday, the NBC morning show gave viewers a preview of the emotional interview,
00:40in which Savannah begs for someone to do the right thing and details her own personal pain over the past
00:45seven and a half weeks.
00:47I wake up every night, in the middle of the night, every night, and in the darkness.
00:58I imagine her terror.
01:02Hoda Kotb, who left the Today Show in early 2025, returned to 30 Rock to fill in for her friend
01:08during this unthinkable time.
01:10She's been sitting in for Savannah while she remains in Arizona.
01:13On February 1st, Nancy was reported missing from her Tucson home after failing to attend a virtual church service.
01:20The shocking story drew national headlines for weeks.
01:24However, so far, the only major lead seems to be a masked and armed man, seen on Nancy's home security
01:30camera footage on the night of her disappearance.
01:32Savannah offered $1 million for the miracle return of her mother.
01:37But in the weeks that followed, the search for Nancy appeared to have gone dark, and law enforcement received backlash
01:43for what many saw as missteps in the investigation.
01:46Then on Sunday, March 22nd, the Guthrie's turned their attention locally to the Grand Canyon State with this statement.
01:52We are deeply grateful for the outpouring from neighbors, friends, and the people of Tucson.
01:58We are all family now.
01:59We continue to believe it is Tucsonians and the greater Southern Arizona community that hold the key to finding resolution
02:06in this case.
02:07Someone knows something.
02:09It's possible a member of this community has information that they do not even realize is significant.
02:15We hope people search their memories, especially around the key timelines of January 31st and the early morning hours of
02:22February 1st, as well as the late evening of January 11th.
02:26We desperately ask this community for renewed attention to our mom's case.
02:30Please consult camera footage, journal notes, text messages, observations, or conversations that in retrospect may hold significance.
02:39No detail is too small.
02:41It may be the key.
02:42We miss our mom with every breath, and we cannot be in peace until she is home.
02:47We cannot grieve.
02:48We can only ache and wonder.
02:50Our focus is solely on finding her and bringing her home.
02:53We want to celebrate her beautiful and courageous life.
02:56But we cannot do that until she is brought to a final place of rest.
03:01Thank you for continuing to pray without ceasing.
03:04The Guthrie family.
03:05Savannah also shared a religious post to Instagram with text that read,
03:09I believe, I believe.
03:11Although she and her siblings have previously admitted it may all be too late.
