00:03Quando abbiamo iniziato a designare la Series S
00:05abbiamo iniziato con questa idea di un all-digitale console
00:07e pensavamo come potremmo come potremmo
00:09la più compacta Xbox ever.
00:21Hey!
00:23Well,
00:26tu sei.
00:27Anche la boxe è small.
00:29Can we just talk about that real quick?
00:31It's weird to think that there's an Xbox in here.
00:34That was always the main design goal.
00:35It's like, how do we get everything that we need
00:37into the smallest and most compact footprint ever.
00:40So I can open this up and see just what's in here.
00:43Look at that.
00:44It's so succinct.
00:46I love the way this recycled material looks
00:49and it just, you know, surrounds the product.
00:51It, like, frames it really nicely.
00:53We designed these little areas for your hands to get in there.
00:57The packaging team did an awesome job
00:58making this presentation feel really special.
01:02We talk a lot about heroing the product
01:04and this just gets you right in there right away.
01:06What's cool, even though this is within the package still,
01:10you still get that icon.
01:12You see that black circle and you go, oh, I know that's the S.
01:14This is beautiful.
01:15This is...
01:17Come on, are you serious?
01:24Oh, you know what's crazy is seeing it in the wrap,
01:27you get a sense of its size,
01:29but really holding it in your hands
01:31makes you realize how small this thing is.
01:36Oh, this is awesome. It's pristine.
01:38I've been living with development units for so long
01:41and it's, like, so awesome to see, like, the final product
01:45fresh off the production line.
01:46It looks incredible.
01:48Look at this.
01:51I mean, I can stand it upright.
01:53Honestly, whenever I get a new toy, a new electronic,
01:55whatever it is,
01:56I want to figure out where it's going to live.
01:59Giving it a home makes it feel like it's a part of the family, right?
02:07Designing this as an all-digital product from the ground up,
02:10it really let us think differently
02:11about how we would arrange all the internal components,
02:14but the same design philosophy still applied.
02:16So we're still thinking primitive shapes
02:18and how do we expose that functionality,
02:20you know, through design elements,
02:21and obviously the major one here is this black circle here,
02:25and that's the exhaust.
02:26So air is flowing in the sides, cooling the chip,
02:29and then flowing out of this exhaust.
02:31I know I'm going to have my ethernet slot, my power,
02:33my storage expansion, my HDMI,
02:35plus two USB ports.
02:37It looks very different and distinguished.
02:40It looks individual,
02:41but it still feels like it's a part of the Xbox family.
02:44With the Series S,
02:45we were actually able to build on some of the knowledge
02:48that we had used from previous consoles,
02:50but it was totally different in that it was completely digital.
02:53I want my digital goods available the moment they are launched.
02:56This is all I need to keep all of the games that I could possibly want.
03:02Just like we did on the Series X,
03:04we learned from the work that we did on the adaptive controller
03:07and built these tactile bumps in the back.
03:10If you have low vision,
03:12it helps you in locating and finding the right plug.
03:16But if you're just reaching behind this and not looking,
03:19you know, anytime it's in your TV console,
03:22it can help you line those up as well.
03:24And so just like a curb cut, you know, on a sidewalk,
03:26it helps everybody.
03:32I love the way all the accessories are packaged
03:35in this little side compartment here.
03:37It's super easy to get your power cord, your HDMI cable.
03:42Quick start, nice little settings,
03:44bring your mobile phone,
03:45because that is an excellent way using the Xbox app
03:47to start up this thing day up.
03:54You get this continuity of design elements where you have the black circle for the D-pad
03:58and the exhaust there.
04:00It really feels like they go together.
04:02The finish on this controller feels awesome.
04:04We have those micro bumps here that, you know,
04:07that we had on our previous controller that feel great.
04:11and we actually added them on the trigger as well.
04:14Look at that, that beautiful robot white.
04:16Texturized on the back, new and updated D-pad
04:19that features both the cross and the dish combined.
04:21And of course, that share button.
04:24One of the other features that's really subtle on here,
04:27we pulled the edges of this in by just a few millimeters.
04:31And what that does is allow somebody with smaller hands
04:34to get their fingers around the triggers more easily
04:36and just makes the whole thing a bit more ergonomic,
04:38even for people with larger hands.
04:44I mean, I knew it was small.
04:46I didn't know it was that small.
04:47That thing is going with me lots of places.
04:50Knowing that this machine is packing such a punch
04:53in a little frame, in a small frame, is absolutely amazing.
04:56I'm super proud to be part of the team.
04:58The design team that I work on is fantastic.
05:01It's a great team to be a part of.
05:11It's a great team to be a part of.
05:18Let's play a game for the game for the GTX.
05:20Grazie.
