00:34The story of Deliver Us Mars is going to be awesome.
00:42This is the ambitious sequel to Deliver Us the Moon.
00:47It takes 10 years since the Fortuna mission.
00:51There is a secret distress call coming in from Mars and that's where the Zephyr crew
00:58will take off finding out what is actually going on there.
01:03What is this?
01:05Excavators, cranes, it's completely deserted.
01:09Deliver Us Mars centers around a team of astronauts that gets tasked to go to Mars to retrieve
01:15the technology that could revitalize the dying planet of Earth.
01:23Life on Earth is becoming extremely hard, not just for people but also for species
01:28are dying out.
01:29The atmosphere is becoming worse and worse.
01:32We need to find a way to make things better.
01:35So the story itself is this grand sweeping and epic drama.
01:40We focus a lot on a family and especially a father and daughter relationship to tell this
01:46very personal story with this epic backdrop of trying to save a planet.
01:51I think we really managed to make this understandable and especially making a lot of hard choices
01:58throughout their journey.
01:59We wanted to tell a story that is mature in what it's telling the audience.
02:03We are not here to tell a story where good and evil is just very simple.
02:08It's very difficult to discern what is right and what is wrong.
02:12And our characters are going to have a hard time figuring that one out.
02:16And I hope the players will do too.
02:19We've been in touch with all sorts of experts in order to ensure that it looks and feels like
02:25you're actually there.
02:26The real astronauts from ages like ESA and NASA that could shine a light on how it would
02:32feel to be an astronaut.
02:35Players can expect a host of new mechanics in the game.
02:38They can expect very diverse environments, the Martian dust storms, the blue sunsets,
02:46the craters that you can see around the landscape.
02:48We try to make it as lifelike as possible.
02:51It really goes into the deeper cinematic experience.
02:56That is just a step up from Livros to Moon in every single way.
03:05The gameplay experience changed a bit, but we really wanted to stick to the core of what
03:10made Livros to Moon, Livros to Moon.
03:12So something I'm really proud of and excited about is the new traversal system.
03:17It has got a new character controller and a climbing system which makes it really cool to go over
03:22the surface.
03:24And also a new host of puzzle mechanics that actually expand upon an MPT network.
03:30And we really made that into a collective puzzle mechanics set.
03:34In order to know what it is like to be there, we've looked at all sorts of things.
03:40As most fans and people that like the first game and know the studio will know is that
03:45we didn't really hold back on developing this new title.
03:50And I dare to say our launch sequence has been researched very extensively.
03:55And I think it's going to be the coolest launch sequence we've seen to date in video games.
04:01If this does not make you feel like an astronaut, I don't know what will.
04:06Maybe actually having to go to space, but that sucks.
04:08That takes a while to actually get.
04:17We experience sound on Mars in a very different manner.
04:21There is emotion.
04:23There is silence.
04:27It's also a very personal story.
04:29And that is taking the story and therefore the music to soaring heights where the stakes
04:35are larger than life, you need to save mankind, you're humanity's last hope.
04:42Combining these two is one of the most inspiring things for any music or audio designer, I think.
04:57My granddad made telescopes to have people view the moon and I'm literally trying to get
05:06like young people, but people that love games to see Mars through video games.
05:16I would like everyone to really look at the coming months, because in the coming months, there is going to
05:23be so much cool stuff we're going to announce and going to finally be able to talk about.
05:28But we have been waiting so long and worked so long on this game already, and I'm almost bursting out
05:34of my shell to really put everything in front of you guys.
