00:06to see if there's some kind of deal that can be cut with the regime in Tehran, perhaps
00:11through Turkey, through Pakistan, perhaps others.
00:15And all we know for sure is that Iran denies that anything is going on, although they say
00:20they have received notes.
00:22I just find it hard to believe whatever conversations there have been that anybody is anywhere close
00:28to agreement.
00:30The regime of the Ayatollahs sees this attack as existential for them.
00:36It's not clear what Trump's objective is.
00:39I mean, I know what I think it should be.
00:41I think it should be regime change, but I'm not sure that's his objective.
00:45And I think Trump is so transactional that there's always a risk that he would look for
00:51some way to declare victory and get out.
00:54And at this point, that has to mean opening the Strait of Hormuz.
