01:57As events unfold in Hayes
01:59Shane Carpenter and the player
02:01will gradually realise that they're being controlled
02:06and a key part of the game
02:08is now that Shane will turn around
02:10and break away from the influence and control of Mantle
02:13There are two key aspects
02:16to the way that the rebels fight against Mantle
02:19One of them is probably something you've guessed at already
02:22which is that the Mantle troopers sometimes overdose a nectar
02:25and when they go into the overdose state
02:27they just lose the ability to fight coherently
02:30The other one is more subtle
02:32and we've not really drawn people's attention to it before
02:34but on Nectar
02:35the Mantle troopers' view of the world
02:38is really an edited view
02:40where things that they don't see
02:42they kind of assume that everything is going well for them
02:45so when people get shot, they die, etc.
02:48When you're a rebel, you take advantage of the fact
02:51that the Mantle troopers really have a slightly blinker view of the world
02:55and that allows the rebels to exploit it
02:58because the Mantle troopers are souped up on Nectar all the time
03:02it makes them supremely arrogant
03:04and that makes them vulnerable to exploits, fast exploits
03:09so a thing you can do on the rebel side is we call it the weapon steal
03:12the cool thing about the rebel weapon steal
03:14is that really what you're doing is just saying
03:17I like your gun, I'm going to take it off
03:19and what it is, it's playing on the arrogance of Mantle
03:22the last thing you expect you to do is to punch him in the face
03:25take his gun
03:28and that's going to really freak people out in multiplayer
03:30the rebel play dead ability, it's essentially play possible
03:34Mantle troopers are always thinking that they're winning
03:36always thinking that they've killed the rebels
03:38if you're nearly dead, suddenly you're allowed to play dead
03:41and that means that they'll ignore you as a target
03:43and you can jump up and outflank them, surprise them
03:46the really cool thing about being on the rebels
03:48is that you now have to work on your wits
03:51and your knowledge of ways to exploit Nectar against the troopers
03:55so it's no longer, I'll just press this button and I'll get these abilities
03:59it's looking for ways which you can make the troopers go wrong
04:03or ways that you can get the jump on them
04:05because they're taking Nectar
04:07and with Haze we want to be creating
04:10really the shooter that people think of when they think of PS3
04:14and we think that this is a really excellent window of opportunity for us
04:17to step into the spotlight
04:19and to show what Haze is really capable of
