00:00I actually want to move on to your Apple scoop, because that hit the wire in the last few minutes
00:04or so.
00:05Apple testing a standalone app for its Siri voice assistant and a new Ask Siri feature.
00:11How does this fit into the company's broader AI overhaul?
00:15Well, Apple's AI vision, Apple's reboot of Apple intelligence and Siri.
00:20The idea is to release a system-wide AI agent using Siri and Apple intelligence to help you get things
00:27done throughout your day.
00:29Like a co-pilot, across your phone, across your iPad, across your Mac.
00:33As part of that, Siri is being redesigned.
00:36It's turning into a chatbot-like experience, similar to ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.
00:42The other aspects here is they're adding a new Write with Siri button to the keyboard, which is going to
00:47include writing tools and other AI-ification of text input.
00:51There's a new Ask Siri button across the system, so you can plug basically anything you're doing into Siri to
00:57get additional information
00:58and to act on it.
01:00It will be able to get your personal information, leverage what you're seeing on your screen.
01:05One of the big things is also in testing, that is a Siri app, so a dedicated app that you
01:10can jump into.
01:11Obviously, the ChatGPT app is one of the most popular apps, so it makes sense that Apple will be going
01:15in this direction.
01:16It also can serve as a central place for AI on your iPhone.
01:19We're gonna give it a number of posts on it.
