00:00Let's focus, Joe, on the association tonight.
00:02The Orlando Magic and the Cleveland Cavaliers, a double-digit line,
00:07minus 10 to minus 10.5 across the board, and also a total of 229.5.
00:12A heavy favor for those Cavaliers tonight, Joe, the home team.
00:16What are we getting out of the spread line in this game?
00:18Well, I mean, what you're getting is a sinking Orlando Magic team
00:22who is trying to do anything, Donnie, in order to stop the bleeding here.
00:27Meanwhile, the Cavs are pretty good.
00:30I mean, I think they're four games ahead of the fifth-place Toronto Raptors,
00:35I think, with about 11 games to play.
00:36So they're pretty much locked in to the fourth seed.
00:40Maybe they can get to the three seed, but health is obviously the concern for the Cavs.
00:45They are at home, but the Magic are just figuring out ways to lose games these days,
00:51and nobody's going to feel sorry for them.
00:53Mosley, the head coach, says it, but my goodness here.
00:58I mean, it's a double-digit Cavs spread.
01:01They have been horrendous laying these kinds of numbers all year, Donnie.
01:06The Cavs have not covered and blown teams out like this.
01:10I do think a desperate Orlando team might have some value here
01:14against this Cavs team laying this many points.
01:17Suggs didn't go last night.
01:19We'll see if he goes here tonight for them.
01:21Double-digit favorite, and by the way, there's a game tonight that involves the Charlotte Hornets
01:25in a 17-and-a-half-point line, and the Charlotte Hornets are actually the favorites in that game.
01:29But here we are, late-night action, Joe.
01:31An 11 o'clock tip out on the West Coast, the Denver Nuggets taking on the Phoenix Suns.
01:35We take a look at the opening line in this game, around 5-and-a-half,
01:37still looking at 5-and-a-halves at most outlets across the board,
01:40and a total of 233-and-a-half.
01:42Mind you, Joe, Phoenix only getting about 20% of the ticket count across the board right here.
01:48Their Nuggets roll into town as their favorite, and they have the public favorite here.
01:53What's your spread line for this one tonight?
01:55Well, and Denver is finally figured out.
01:57By the way, Denver is finally healthy, too.
01:59Peyton Watson back now, Aaron Gordon.
02:01They've got their full complement ready to go.
02:04They've won five of their last seven.
02:06They just beat Portland on Sunday.
02:09And then, of course, we did watch the Phoenix Suns stop a five-game slide there against the Toronto Raptors.
02:16So, health's still a problem here for the Phoenix Suns because they're going to be shorthanded once again.
02:22But can Booker and company carry the day?
02:25I don't think so.
02:28I think Denver here is going to win this game, and I think they're going to win it rather easily.
02:34A fully healthy Nuggets team is a scary team here.
02:37New Orleans Pelicans, you know me, Joe.
02:39My favorite team to wager on in the NBA.
02:42They're in action tonight in New York City, the most famous arena at Madison Square Garden.
02:47This line overnight opened up at a nine-point favorite.
02:49Most outlets still sitting at nine.
02:50Some at eight-and-a-half, some at nine-and-a-halves, but also a total, Joe, of 231-and
02:54-a-half.
02:55Knicks at home expected to win by close to double digits.
02:58What's your spread line for this game tonight?
03:00Well, you know, listen.
03:02The Pelicans just melted away the other night in epic fashion.
03:06I'm not quite sure how they still lost that game, but they will have an opportunity to
03:11right the ship.
03:12And listen, New Orleans is playing some great basketball here.
03:15They're not tanking because they have no draft picks, and they've got plenty of guys that can
03:21shoot in and around them.
03:22I mean, Murray is back.
03:24Sadiq Bey is there.
03:25You've got Murphy playing well.
03:27I mean, you got a lot of guys that can actually play here on the Pelicans, which leads me to
03:33think, how in the world are we sweating out an under here?
03:36We know the Pelicans ain't going to play no defense, and we know the Knicks are going
03:39to be more than happy to drop 120-plus on them.
03:42Feels like we're going to get a ton of points at the Garden here tonight in this one.
03:47NBA News and Notes.
03:48Donnie Wrightside, Joe Ranieri, Sports Grid Network, the early line fits perfectly here.
03:52When you take a look at last year, the Pacers, he's like, ooh, this should be such a fun
03:56season coming back.
03:57But due to injuries and personnel issues, ain't been all that fun for Indiana, Joe.
04:02And here's Rick Carlisle talking about that season so far.
04:05You know, we have not been playing well.
04:08The game two nights ago in San Antonio was very disappointing for all of us.
04:13We talked about it this morning that we needed to make a stand and just raise our level of
04:22collective will with how we're competing.
04:24And guys did it, led by the veterans, you know, Pascal, Andrew, and Aaron.
04:32And, you know, it was a great game.
04:35It felt like a playoff-type game.
04:37And, you know, for Orlando, it is.
04:38I mean, they're fighting.
04:39They're fighting for positioning.
04:42Yeah, there it is, Joe.
04:43Look, Indiana, those are hoops hotbed out there, exciting and fun.
04:46And now it's like, oof, where do we go from here?
04:50Yeah, and listen, I love Rick Carlisle.
04:52I mean, but the minute Halliburton went down in the finals last year, he knew, we knew,
04:57everyone knew.
04:58This is exactly, you know, the fact that you only have 16 wins on the season.
05:02I got to give you credit.
05:03I didn't have you for more than 10.
05:06But they managed to scratch out a win on the road against the team battling.
05:10And it only took Siakam to go absolutely crazy to get it done with 37-6-1 last night.
05:17But, yeah, I don't know how many more they're going to get of the remaining, what, 10-11 games
05:21here, Donnie?
05:22I think the Pacers have hit their quota of wins this year.
05:27Markel Fultz, back in the NBA, the former number one overall pick, is signing a 10-day contract
05:32with the Raptors.
05:32So let me expound on this, Joe.
05:34The Philadelphia 76ers and their fans went through some dark times here, and it's called
05:38The Process.
05:39Let's think every single year, let's pile up great draft picks, and eventually we'll emerge
05:43and we'll be OKC because we'll be able to dominate with all these players.
05:46Well, it really started with, you know, Joel Embiid, who's been a really good player in
05:49MVP, but it was Ben Simmons was the focal point.
05:52You know, the 6'11 point guard that if he just learned how to shoot the basketball or shot
05:56it at all to open up the offense, the Sixers would be better off.
05:59He refused to do that.
06:00Then comes the time of the Philadelphia 76ers under Brian Colangelo, who was forced out
06:04by, or Sam Hinckley, who was forced out for Colangelo, and they said, you know, let's
06:07make a trade with Boston to get the number one over pick of Markel Fultz.
06:10A slick shooting guard, the missing piece to our process, and we can go ahead and win
06:14championships.
06:15And the minute Fultz got to Philadelphia, he forgot how to shoot the basketball and had
06:20a mysterious, infamous, I should say, shoulder injury.
06:23Now he's just going around.
06:24So pardon me for talking about the Sixers and how Markel Fultz was a massive part in
06:29the ruination of the process, but he's back in the NBA with the Raptors.
06:35Well, I tell you, because I would have thought maybe you said Utah or SACA, because nothing
06:41says full on tank mode than getting Markel Fultz signed again here for the last 11 games.
06:47And it sounds like maybe just maybe the Raptors are like, listen, we just, it is what it is.
06:53We're going to make the postseason.
06:54We just need somebody to eat up some minutes here.
06:57So none of our guys get hurt heading into the, that's kind of, he feels like a placeholder
07:02right now.
07:02Is that the point he's at in his career?
07:05Yeah.
07:05And that graphic too.
07:06I don't even know what jersey is wearing a 905 jersey.
07:08Where'd they get it?
07:09That a Foreman Mills off the rack at this point.
07:11My goodness.
07:11Your Markel Fultz, he's back.
07:13You know, he's leaving though.
07:14The Milwaukee Bucks waving Cam Thomas just weeks after signing him.
07:17Sources tell ESPN, it is a mess in Milwaukee.
07:22Yeah.
07:23I, you know, and listen, this guy can help somebody.
07:26I'm sorry.
07:27This guy is a scoring machine, Dottie.
07:29This guy can walk into any situation.
07:32You're talking about a dude that is averaging at least 20 or more points a game.
07:37I, you know, he was stuck with the nets.
07:39He was happy to get out of Brooklyn.
07:41He got to Milwaukee.
07:42Now he can't wait to get out of Milwaukee.
07:44My goodness.
07:45It is.
07:45I wish he could just land with a team that I don't know.
07:49You know, any teams, Dottie, that could use 20 plus a game here in Philadelphia at all?
07:54Maybe.
07:55How about this, Joe?
07:56And again, you know, no, I don't know anybody in Philadelphia.
07:59You can get some help out at this point.
08:00But Sham Sharani put a tweet out that we all understand where this is coming from.
08:05The NBA has informed teams that the league is projecting $165 million salary cap for 2026,
08:112027.
08:11It's actually a million dollars lower than the previous outlooks due to a reduction in
08:15local media, sources tell ESPN.
08:18So understand this.
08:19You look at the NFL.
08:21Every single year that cap goes up.
08:23We can't get enough of the NFL.
08:24We all watch and love the NFL.
08:26Even if the game stinks, we still tune in.
08:29We've been telling people, and just like social media is a reflection sometimes in society,
08:33sometimes it's not.
08:34But when you see, Joe, I don't watch the NBA at this point.
08:37I'm a Sixers fan.
08:38I haven't watched more than five minutes of the Philadelphia 76ers this year.
08:42The product in the regular season is horrendous in the NBA.
08:46But then we'll get to the playoffs and be like, wow, this is kind of cool.
08:49Like the best players are playing and they're playing really hard.
08:52The regular season gives us nothing to watch.
08:54Can you imagine this, Joe?
08:55With that massive deal they signed, not even midway through and already they're saying,
08:59the cap's not going up, guys.
09:01It's actually going lower.
09:02You know what?
09:03Put a better product out there on a night-to-night basis, Joe.
09:06Trust me.
09:06We'll watch.
09:07The product stinks.
09:10It does, Donnie, and that is completely correlated to a lot of what the NBA front office
09:19and the guys making the decisions have allowed to go on here.
09:23And that's exactly what has happened.
09:25I do think it also, this year especially, the tank-a-thon we're getting, you know,
09:32just look at what we're getting here in March Madness and what we got here.
09:36The amount of freshmen, stud freshmen that are headed to the NBA, I mean,
09:42there are a ton of one-and-dones in college basketball likes we've not seen.
09:46And the NBA, well, they can use a couple of game-changers, some of these franchises,
09:51and that is why the tanking is over the top this year, Donnie.
09:56It is.
09:56And understand this, too, because I'll always say, the NBA ratings are up.
10:00You're wrong.
10:01Joe and I have been talking about this.
10:02September 1st, 2025, the ratings boost kicker kicked in.
10:07Everything is up across the board.
10:09So now you're saying, like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
10:11I was told, Joe, the NBA ratings are sky high.
10:13But now we're saying local media revenue is lower.
10:16Does it make sense?
10:17Yes, it does.
10:18The ratings are fake.
10:19You know what's going to be really interesting next year when we're going to get articles
10:22going like, oh, my goodness, like, ratings in the NBA are down 10% across the board this year.
10:26Yes, because the bump isn't going to be as artificial as it was in September.
10:31Next year, take a look at the NBA ratings.
10:33That'll tell you, Joe, every single thing there.
10:35But we've been telling you that ad nauseum on this show.
10:38Last night, Joe, I told you to take the Detroit Pistons as underdogs here.
10:42Oh, no.
10:43The Lakers are on a win streak here.
10:44Luka got a technical rescinded.
10:46Easy win for them.
10:47Not so fast.
10:48Nobody wanted to take the Pistons.
10:50DRS took them and gave the people an outright victory yesterday, Joe.
10:53Love to see it.
10:55No, that was a great win by Detroit.
10:58Again, we needed to see something against a Western Conference team.
11:01And listen, the Lakers have put themselves in as a top three team now coming out of the
11:06West here.
11:07It was a heck of a run, but they just ran into a very determined Detroit team to get
11:13it done.
11:13That's exactly what Detroit did here.
11:16So no 60-point effort for Luka to bail out the Lakers last night.
11:21Now they've come back down to earth a little bit.
11:23But kudos to Detroit for finally getting one against a Western Conference playoff team.
11:30Four games on the docket tonight, Joe.
11:32Starts at 7 o'clock between the Sacramento Kings and the Charlotte Hornets.
11:36That's a 17-and-a-half-point spread.
11:37And then Bozos in the NBA.
11:39Hey, Joe, you know what?
11:40We don't even...
11:41We have this...
11:41Put this game board up right now.
11:42Denver Nuggets, Phoenix Suns.
11:44Let's have some fun and talk about this, right?
11:46Should be a good game tonight.
11:48Revenue is down on TV.
11:50Let me guess.
11:51People can't stay up for an 11 o'clock start on the East Coast.
11:55Make it, Joe.
11:56Make me commissioner of the NBA.
11:57We're not doing this.
11:58We're putting games on where people can actually watch the games across the board.
12:04Hey, Joe, you know what's really interesting?
12:05Boy, if I can get the entire country to be able to be awake and watch this game, how much
12:10more money?
12:11No, no, no, no, no.
12:12Step in.
12:13Put it at 11 so nobody can watch it on the East Coast.
12:17Yeah, you should TiVo it.
12:19Do they still TiVo?
12:20I don't know if that still works there.
12:22No, Donnie, you're right, though.
12:24A lot of these games, especially the primetime ones, I get you got to cater to some level
12:29to the West Coast audience, but my goodness.
12:32I mean, if you're going to go primetime, go primetime.
12:35Put the game in so most of the people who actually watch the NBA can actually stay up
12:39and enjoy it, Donnie, but this game is going to get buried out there, but according to
12:45the NBA, it'll probably be the most watched game of the season here, Donnie, in the NBA.
12:50Yeah, congratulations, NBC and Peacock.
12:52I can understand where I'm coming from this, too.
12:53Well, it's local.
12:54Let me understand this.
12:55Did they put Monday Night Football in San Francisco on at 11 o'clock at night?
12:59No, they don't.
13:00It's 8 o'clock.
13:01That's why we watch.
13:03Get me upset already on the Tuesday.
13:05I might need some caffeinated Joe coming up.
13:06I'm sorry.
13:07I'm sorry.
13:08Four games on the docket tonight.
13:09In the association as we wait for Sweet 16 and Elite 8 action.
13:13And then, of course, we'll see who's going to be a champion here in NCAA action.
13:17But more importantly, when the playoffs start, the real season begins in the NBA.
13:21It's on the right side.
13:22It's Joe Ranieri welcoming Kevin Walsh on a Tuesday morning, rising and grinding with
13:26the boys.
13:27Kevin, looking good over there, huh?
13:29Yeah, listen, excited to be here, fellas.
13:31It was a full NBA slate with some of the weirdest games you'll see.
13:37We had multiple sub-500 teams laying double digits who then proceeded to cover by 20 points
13:47on those double-digit numbers.
13:49Denny Angevia might be the most valuable player to the spread in basketball with the way Portland
13:56gets booked when he is either in or out of the lineup.
14:00That is also probably more Portland Trailblazer talk than anybody needed here on this Tuesday.
14:07Yeah, we're going to have some fun here talking that NBA action tonight, having some fun at
14:11this point.
14:12So, as we set things up today, right?
14:14Four games on the docket.
14:15And Joe and I have talked about this ad nauseam.
14:16Some of these spreads start to get out of control.
14:19Because you look at the Kings and the Hornets, which I know isn't a big game.
14:21It's like, all right, 17-point favorite.
14:23Of course, the Hornets are getting 17 points.
14:25It's out.
14:25The Hornets are laying 17 to the Kings tonight.
14:28So, let me just talk to you for a moment here, Kevin, about working in handicaps on
14:32a night-to-night basis.
14:33You know me.
14:33I'm basically a fade to public, the team that nobody wants to take, taking it and having
14:37some success.
14:37But as you step into the chamber at this point, you're looking at 17 points, 8.5 points, 10.5
14:43points tonight, 5.5 points tonight as that number.
14:46So, as we look at saying, you know what, Kevin, late in the season before you get to
14:49the playoffs, how are you approaching some of these games?
14:52Yeah, it's really difficult.
14:55And, you know, we're always honest with the people.
14:59I mean, sometimes I just don't approach them.
15:01Honestly, the answer is I'm not approaching.
15:04Like, you look at them, right?
15:05You want to be familiar with all the numbers.
15:07But it is not unreasonable to see a 17.5 Hornets-Kings number and be like, all right, let's
15:15figure out something in Nugget Suns.
15:17Because this is, these are not real games to some degree, right?
15:24It makes, I'm sure we'll talk a little Magic Cavs.
15:26It makes what Orlando did yesterday even worse.
15:29The Indiana Pacers are trying to lose every single game.
15:35The Magic need a win.
15:36They're deep in this play-in race now.
15:39Like, two, it's kind of gone under the radar.
15:43But there are two teams who are going to miss out on the playoffs in the Eastern Conference.
15:47And it is going to feel like a complete and total disaster.
15:50Because now for the Hornets, not making it will feel like a disaster with the run that
15:55they went on and a real squandered opportunity.
16:00Atlanta has just gotten too hot.
16:02It almost would not be surprising if Atlanta were not to make it.
16:05And then you have the two Florida teams, right, Joe?
16:08With Miami and Orlando.
16:10And if one of those teams is not in the playoffs, that's going to be a long offseason.
16:14There's just no other way to slice it.
16:18No, no.
16:19And they keep getting blown out by 40 points there by any team with a pulse out west that's
16:24going to be long for Miami anyway here.
16:27But you mentioned this Cavs game here, Kev.
16:29And, listen, there has been no worse bet to make this year than to be laying double digits
16:36with the Cavs.
16:38Yeah, they win.
16:39But they do not cover these hits.
16:42They have been an ATS nightmare this year as a double-digit favorite.
16:46But you mentioned it.
16:47Second of a back-to-back.
16:48And I don't know if you get a more desperate spot for Orlando than this one.
16:53I mean, the Cavs are pretty much locked in here.
16:55Are they not the number three or four spot?
16:59Yeah, I would agree with you, right?
17:00In fact, they almost look deadlocked into the four, being multiple games back at the
17:04Knicks.
17:05The Knicks are playing good ball right now.
17:06They've won't winners of six in a row.
17:09The only thing is sometimes, and as bettors, it's kind of the opposite of the hot stove
17:16theory.
17:17Like, you actually have to be willing to find out if the stove is still hot.
17:22Because I laid the 12 and a half yesterday with the Magic.
17:24I was, because they had lost four in a row, and they had this spot here, second leg of
17:29a back-to-back in Cleveland.
17:31Meaning, they had to beat the Pacers.
17:34So, my thought process is, since they have to win the game, they should come out guns
17:41down double digits at the end of the first quarter.
17:43Lost outright.
17:45Yeah.
17:45Playing 12 and a half here.
17:47So, I feel like, Joe, if I'm picking up what you're laying down, I tend to agree.
17:52It feels like the right move is to take the points with Orlando, and they give you a playoff
17:58level effort.
17:59But I'm still trying to figure out what in the world they allowed to happen yesterday
18:04against these Indiana Pacers.
18:07Let's take a look at the night game, Kevin, because I started to get a little wound up
18:10over this.
18:11Now, we had a Sham Sharani, a tweet that came out basically said, like, yeah, people aren't
18:14watching in their home markets here at this point.
18:16And nationally, we're going to have to drop the salary cap by a million dollars, which
18:20is alarming, because in the sports landscape, you see everything goes up every year.
18:23So, Kevin, I take a look at the next game, which a lot of people would love to watch.
18:277.30 start, 8 o'clock start, national game, Denver Nuggets, Phoenix Suns.
18:31It's 11 p.m. tip-off here on NBC and Peacock tonight.
18:35It's a five-and-a-half-point favorite.
18:36So, I say to myself, Kevin, make me commissioner.
18:38We'll start this game at 8.30 or 8.15 p.m., and everybody watch it, everybody enjoy it,
18:43because it's a marquee game.
18:44Does the NBA, Kevin, not want us to watch their games tonight?
18:48And also, what do you think, Nuggets, Suns, tonight?
18:51I will say the 11 o'clock start is something that they've implemented that is a little –
19:00I know you hate it, and I'm not telling you you should like it.
19:04It's clearly by some choice, though, and I am struggling to believe that the NBA told NBC,
19:14hey, you're going to get 11 o'clock basketball and like it.
19:17It just – but it's also crazy to think that NBC was like, please give us 11 o'clock basketball.
19:23We're trying to up our, you know, one-in-the-morning ratings because it's not necessary.
19:30The Cavs game could start at 7.
19:33Also, you don't need three – everyone knows that it's usually two-and-a-half hours in between the primetime
19:38game.
19:38Why is there three hours in between Cleveland, Orlando, and Phoenix, Denver?
19:44As far as the game goes tonight here, it is a bit tricky because the Suns showed life for the
19:50first time in a long time
19:52by rolling Toronto a couple of nights ago by 22.
19:58This is a Denver team that I feel, guys, every time we talk about, it's like, yeah, we respect Jokic.
20:07Jamal Murray's having a good year.
20:09But I want – Denver basically only covers by the hook when they go to OKC and play a classic.
20:16Other than that, I don't have much interest in backing this Denver team.
20:27SGA sitting right now at FanDuel is the minus 1,500 price point to win the MVP of the NBA.
20:33But we asked the question, Joe, if not SGA, who's your MVP and the favorite coming in right now, Joe?
20:38Slightly.
20:39Victor Webinyama, followed by Luka Doncic, then Nikola Jokic, and other, only about 3% right now.
20:44So the people want to see Wemby if it's not SGA.
20:50I mean, if you watched Wemby last night, and again, since February 1st, San Antonio has only lost two games,
20:59and he's a big reason as to why.
21:00If he doesn't miss any more games, Donnie, you'd be hard-pressed to convince me it's anybody but Wemby at
21:06this point.
21:07Let's get it over.
21:08For me, yesterday took a public fade on the Detroit Pistons going up against the Lakers here.
21:13They won that game outright tonight, Joe.
21:15I'm taking another dog, and you know I won't be up for this game.
21:18It's an 11 o'clock start.
21:19The Denver Nuggets and the Phoenix Suns.
21:21Line overnight, 5 1⁄2.
21:23Line this morning, 5 1⁄2.
21:24Only 20% or so of the tickets backing the Phoenix Suns.
21:29Nobody wants to take the Phoenix Suns.
21:31However, your boy DRS is telling you, take the Phoenix Suns tonight.
21:37Prediction Markets Edge right here on the early line.
21:39It's time, Joe.
21:41Invest your money.
21:42Make some money here.
21:43Take a good contract.
21:44Maybe take a bad contract.
21:46And get out of that contract where you don't lose all your money, Joe.
21:49That's how we get down the business.
21:50A half hour and a lot of fun.
21:52It's Joe.
21:53It's Donnie right here on the Sports Grid Network.
21:54It's how we do it.
21:57Gotta love it, Donnie.
21:58I'm looking so very forward to this week.
22:00We got Sweet 16 action coming up on Thursday and Friday.
22:06We got Major League Baseball.
22:08And listen, 11 games left in the NBA season and still some things to be determined.
22:14Yeah, let me tell you something.
22:16Nathan Evaldi comes in the Philadelphia and shuts down the Phillies for three hits, one run,
22:19and they get beat 3-1 on opening day.
22:21We're going to be angry people.
22:23Overreactions are what we're doing here.
22:25But also, Joe, we got to get to the association tonight.
22:27Orlando's taking on Cleveland.
22:29What happened, Magic?
22:30I believe they're in the midst of a five-game losing streak right now.
22:32But they're in Cleveland to see if they can pick up the victory.
22:35However, if we're looking at some of the predictive markets, Joe, a 79% chance that Cleveland is
22:40going to win this game outright.
22:42Orlando listed at 21%.
22:44Why?
22:45It's a heavy line in this game.
22:4611.5% on the Calci marketplace right now.
22:49Currently, that chance is 44% for them to cover that number.
22:53If you like and say, you know what?
22:54I'll take the 11.5%.
22:56It's 56% there to the no.
22:58Joe, heavy favorite in Cleveland in the land tonight.
23:01What are we thinking here?
23:03Well, I mean, listen.
23:05The reality is that the Cavs are locked into the fourth seed.
23:0911 games left to go.
23:11Not a lot that can happen here for them.
23:13Orlando, yes, they're likely in the play-in spot here.
23:17But they're only a game and a half out of the sixth seed from Atlanta with 11 to play.
23:23So the fact that they have not been able to put—they couldn't win last night at home
23:27against Indiana is indefensible.
23:30But the good news is, Donnie, sometimes the best thing to do is get right back out there
23:35and play another game here tonight.
23:36And that's what the Magic are going to do.
23:39I don't trust the Cavs laying double digits in this spot.
23:43I do think you get a big effort from the Orlando Magic here.
23:47I don't know that they'll win, but I certainly think they can keep it within double digits.
23:52We always talk about, you know, you can bet points and have all that good stuff in there,
23:55invest in those players.
23:56Evan Mobley, you want to invest in a double-double tonight, currently trading at 51%,
24:00which means a $100 investment pays back $197.
24:04A game that we've talked about a few times here on the early line, it's Denver at Phoenix.
24:0811 o'clock, stop the band.
24:10You already know, Joe.
24:11I like Phoenix in this game as the dog.
24:1466% is the chance that an outright victory for the Denver Nuggets on the road will happen,
24:18which leaves Phoenix with a 34% chance.
24:21If you feel Phoenix can win this game outright, $100 investment, Joe, will pay back $295.
24:27But like me, sitting there and saying, you know what?
24:29I'm going to take the five and a half points here,
24:31and I'm going to say that Denver doesn't cover the spread.
24:34How about this, Joe?
24:35$100 investment pays back $200.
24:37That's right.
24:38No juice, Joe, if you feel that the plus five and a half is the way to go.
24:42How about that?
24:45I don't hate that, Donnie.
24:47But again, it's good to see that Denver has got its full complement back.
24:51They got Peyton Watson back here.
24:53They, of course, now, you know, they've got Aaron Gordon back.
24:57They are healthier than they have been in a while, and it has shown because they've won, what, five of
25:03their last seven games here.
25:05But Dylan Brooks, the good news is they think that Brooks could be back sooner rather than later for Phoenix.
25:12It doesn't look like he's going to be available here tonight, but Royce O'Neal is, and, of course, Devin
25:18Booker is.
25:20I don't trust enough offense here.
25:22I do think the one thing Phoenix has brought to the table is defense here, Donnie.
25:27And I think we could get more of that here tonight.
25:31I would look at the under, and more specifically, I might look at the team total under for the Phoenix
25:38Suns here.
25:38They don't want to get into a track meet with Denver here.
25:41I think 233 and a half might be looking at the under as the best value in that market.
25:48I don't know what's the correlation here for Devin Booker.
25:50He's probably going to have to have a good game for Phoenix to be competitive and or win.
25:53If you want to bet, or should I say invest in the points tonight, Devin Booker to get 30-plus
25:57points.
25:57A $100 investment would pay back $304.
26:01Another game in the association we'll talk about from New York City, the world's most famous arena, Madison Square Garden.
26:06The New Orleans Pelicans are in town, and the Knicks are the heavy favorite in this one.
26:10Currently trading at a 76% chance to win this game.
26:13New Orleans at a 24% chance.
26:15If we're looking at the spread, the Knicks by 7.5.
26:18Currently a 55% chance here, and a total that's listed at 233.5.
26:23Knicks at home playing good basketball.
26:25Win streak.
26:26Looks like it's supposed to continue tonight, Joe.
26:29Yeah, and I mean, let's face it.
26:32This is kind of hard.
26:33We know New Orleans has been playing very well, Donnie, and I don't think it's a mystery as to why,
26:40because they finally got everyone on this roster healthy, and they have no reason to tank,
26:45because they don't have any draft picks to tank for.
26:49So what you've been getting is a really good effort, especially from Zion, who's been healthy here.
26:55But now they've got Murray back.
26:57They've got Murphy, Sadiq Bey.
27:00How in the world am I looking at anything but an over here?
27:03This feels like less defense, more scoring.
27:06I think this number is a little light, Donnie, at 230.5, 231.5.
27:11I would look at the over, specifically the New York Knicks team total, up and over in this one as
27:18well.
