00:30So what is it like now to be creative director on the final season?
00:33It's unbelievably humbling. I know the weight on our shoulders to kind of make a solid end to Clementine's story
00:39was immense from day one.
00:40It was a tremendous honor and a lot of responsibility to, I mean, obviously, including Clementine's tale.
00:45It's something that we took very seriously from the start.
00:47Playing this game and building this game, we kind of realized the core tenet of The Walking Dead was making
00:51decisions that forced people to cry.
00:53And that's kind of what makes a Walking Dead story different than any other zombie entertainment out there.
00:58It's a universe that pushes all kinds of different people into horrible scenarios and see how they have to deal
01:02with that kind of thing.
01:03It was one of the best experiences as a voice actor in my 29-year career so far.
01:11You know, obviously, there's a little bit of an age difference between myself and Clementine.
01:17Two or three years. Give me that eight-year-old Clementine voice.
01:22Uh, this is eight-year-old Clementine right here. This is how it all began.
01:27So let's talk about the Collectors' Pack. Why did you guys decide to make this?
01:30We want to make Collectors' Pack that really sort of, like, honors the massive legacy of the series and sort
01:33of puts the whole thing together in the best package possible.
01:35What's in the Collectors' Pack?
01:37A disc that contains all the seasons, everything that there's ever been made in Telltale's The Walking Dead.
01:42All right, let's talk about this Lee and Clementine statue.
01:43It's based off the brand-new models we made of Lee and Clementine for the final season.
01:46And we even had our animators try to figure out how to make it as accurate as possible.
01:50I want it in my office, displayed proudly.
01:54Some of the really cool things we have is we have this series of really nice metallic pins.
01:57Oh, yeah.
01:58They have Clem, which, of course, everybody loves.
02:00We have Lee. Got to give tribute to the man.
02:02How cool is it to see in this Collectors' Pack a poster of Clementine?
02:06It's super cool, especially because it's drawn by a Skybound artist.
02:09And they have, and now it's this really cool image of Clem and AJ reflected in some blood.
02:13And Clem has Marlon's bow. It's very metal.
02:15I hear some of the Collectors' Packs are being autographed by Robert Kirkman.
02:21I'm pretty excited that Kenny is finally getting his hat.
02:25Well, the fans are getting Kenny's hat.
02:27Kenny is one of the most beloved characters in the entire franchise.
02:30And his iconic hat comes off in very certain endings, depending on your choices.
02:34And the fans who got those endings have been passionate about wanting Kenny's hat for years.
02:38What's your favorite item in the Collectors' Pack?
02:40Disco Broccoli, who's kind of our team mascot, oddly enough.
02:44He was the brainchild of Chris Rebert.
02:46Our seasoned cinematics director really kind of took off with the fans.
02:49E. Erickson's boarding school t-shirt for troubled youth.
02:51It was a cinnamon for the dev team throughout development.
02:53So I think that's a really cool thing for us to see out there.
02:56I love the nesting doll for Clementine.
02:59Like, what is that all about for you?
03:00It's a fun idea, and I think that's a lot of our approach here,
03:02is to find cool visual ways to represent the growth of these characters.
03:05To have Clementine at eight, and older, and older, and all in one of those dolls.
03:12You open it up, and then you pull out the littler one, and you open that up,
03:16and pull out the littler one, and you open that up, and you get the eight-year-old Clementine.
03:20I think it's amazing.
03:21What would you want to tell Telltale of the Walking Dead fans?
03:24I just want to thank the fans.
03:26I think the passion of the fans, and their intense love for all these characters,
03:29is part of why the final season came back to life in the first place.
