00:00A Wirral couple have been jailed for murdering their baby son, Miguel.
00:05Police were called to seek him on the 24th of November, 2024,
00:10where the three-month-old was found unresponsive.
00:13He was taken to Alder Hay Hospital with injuries including a fractured skull and broken ribs.
00:19Sadly, despite the efforts of medical staff, Miguel was sadly pronounced dead five days later.
00:25Clevy Pirjani and Nivalda Santos Pirjani were charged with murder and child cruelty offences.
00:32After a three-week trial, both were convicted.
00:35A judge has now sentenced Clevy Pirjani to life with a minimum of 19 years
00:39and Nivalda Santos Pirjani to life with at least 15 years and three months.
