00:23Since the game is based on a major motion picture, we actually were able to go and visit the film

00:28So we could gather information for building our own levels
00:31We actually saw in person where the film was being shot
00:35They had built the entire Spider-Rick mansion
00:39We were driving up to it, looking at it, and just like, it blew our minds
00:42Because it was the mansion out of the books
00:44I was surprised how, you know, how true to the real house it was
00:49And it was exactly mirrored in the game, which is kind of cool
00:53Every little knick-knack that Arthur had in his house was there
00:58It was dusty, it smelled like old people
01:00I mean, I could walk around the house in the video game and I completely knew my way around
01:04It's brilliant, it's absolutely, it's completely correct
01:07And there are a couple of key areas that relate to what you see in the movie
01:10The deep woods are where you encounter a troll, a river troll
01:13Come see me
01:16You'll recognize the tree houses where Hogsweal likes to hang out and capture his birds
01:22You know, the kids go down into the sewers and they're chased by a troll
01:26Chasing you, spitting up all kinds of dirt and stuff
01:29And slobber, you have to beat them to the ladder that leads to the street
01:34If you don't, you're troll meat
01:35From the movie, we also recreate the Goblin Camp
01:41The rock quarry is a beautiful place
01:43Because it's a vertical kind of a situation where you've got a lot of canyon walls
01:51You've got walls of rock and stone
01:53Not only do you get to play what you see in the movie
01:55But you get to go beyond what you see on the screen and explore the universe
01:59Thimble Tack was probably one of the most fun fairy creatures to bring to life in the game
02:03Most of his gameplay takes place within the walls of the Spiderwick Mansion
02:08Which previously you've only seen as one of the Grace children at their scale
02:12But you actually go down to his level of size and go into the walls
02:16And the gameplay is really kind of crafted for him
02:19I think the film and the game are kind of getting kids to look at things closer

02:28And you'd be surprised sometimes at what you might find
