00:27When you play the game, you take on the role of each of the Grey's children, Jared, Simon, and Mallory,
00:32and we also allow you to play as ThimbleTack.
00:35What is that hideous thing?
00:37His name is ThimbleTack. He's a brownie, except when he's angry, then he becomes a bogger.
00:42You little twerp!
00:44Each of the kids has their own abilities and personality, so Jared's kind of like the brash twin who acts
00:50before he thinks.
00:52Hunger!
00:53Wham! Wham!
00:59Things that you would normally be afraid of, I think Jared is more willing to jump in and explore.
01:03Simon is sort of a little bit more thoughtful.
01:06The concoction I made seems to work on them pretty well.
01:09He goes and puts together a squirt gun that squirts tomato juice.
01:13He does this cool John Woo move where he jumps backwards and does this full 360-degree spray with his
01:18tomato gun.
01:19Boom! And it dissolves everything in his pathway.
01:22And Mallory's a little bit more mature. She's the older sister.
01:25She's more athletic.
01:26And she's also really good with a fencing sword.
01:28I mean, she's the coolest. She has the sword. I mean, you can't beat the sword, really. No baseball bat
01:32defeats a sword. Come on.
01:34Once she starts to unleash your special attacks, watch out.
01:41ThimbleTack was probably one of the most fun fairy creatures to bring to life.
01:45You're shrunk down, so everything is giant in scale.
01:48It's kind of funny because looking at the Spiderwick Mansion from his level, it looks like the place should be
01:52condemned.
01:52There's water dripping everywhere and electrical sparks happening that he has to avoid.
01:57And also cockroaches, which are his main enemy.
02:01My favorite characters were probably the sprites.
02:04As you capture each sprite, they give you a unique power.
02:07You actually get an opportunity to record them in your own version of the field guide.
02:11There's pleasant creatures in the game and there are evil creatures in the game.
02:13There are lots of goblins in the game.
02:15There's so many of them and they come from everywhere.
02:17And the goblins are definitely a creature you want to avoid.
02:19Then there's Mulgarath.
02:22White and intimidating fellow. Huge and ugly.
02:25Other times, Mulgarath will actually become a spy and turn into a crow.
02:28The river troll, he's really fun and scary.
02:31I won't defend you.
02:34The land troll.
02:35Chasing you, spitting up all kinds of dirt and stuff and slobber.
02:41Hogswheel's my favorite.
02:42What do you say we help each other out?
02:44There is this world that we don't even realize exists.
02:48And you just have to look close enough to see it.
02:50Not only do you get to play what you see in the movie,
02:52but you get to go beyond what you see on the screen and explore the universe.
02:57Once you see the film, this is going to be the experience that you're going to want to have
03:00if you want to continue the adventure and all the wonder of the film.
