Agatha and the Midnight Murders (2020) – The third installment in Channel 5's series of fictional mysteries featuring crime writer Agatha Christie as the detective . Set during the London Blitz, a financially desperate Christie (Helen Baxendale) decides to sell a manuscript that kills off her most famous creation, Hercule Poirot, to a wealthy private buyer . She hires a bodyguard, Travis Pickford (Blake Harrison), and the transaction is set to take place at a London hotel . When an air raid forces the hotel guests into the cellar, tensions rise, the manuscript is stolen, and a series of murders unfold. Trapped with a killer, Christie must use her novelist's instincts to uncover the truth before more lives are lost .
