00:04Two teens and celebrities are about to prove they're as good as their word.
00:07One of them could win thousands of pounds for their chosen charity,
00:10but only if they know their lingo.
00:25Hello and welcome to Celebrity Lingo,
00:28where we're rolling out the red carpet.
00:30But will the words roll off the tongue?
00:33Tonight, each of our celebrity teams will be playing to win cash for charities close to their hearts.
00:38Let's meet tonight's all-star teams.
00:41Promising not to be sheepish, it's Emmerdale icons Lisa Riley and Mark Charnock.
00:47And here to prove words are sacred, it's Reverend Richard Coles,
00:52alongside the king of the one-liners, comedian Tim Vine.
00:57Here's how the game works.
00:59Our teams will be shown the first letter of a word.
01:01All they have to do is guess that word.
01:03A correct letter turns green, a correct letter in the wrong place turns yellow.
01:07They have five attempts to solve each lingo,
01:09and each correct answer adds money to their bank.
01:12But only one team will make it through to the final,
01:14where they can win money for their chosen charity.
01:17Let's play Celebrity Lingo.

15:37words? Let's find out if they really do know their lingo.
15:44APPLAUSE
15:45Richard and Tim, here you are. Celebrity Lingo Champions. Well, there we are. Clearly, Reverend, the moment of reflection really
15:53helps.
15:53Well, you know. Yeah, of course. When you've got connections, I don't want to use them.
15:57Right. Exactly. Right. I see they've opened a new Christian restaurant. It's called The Lord Gibbeth, and also does takeaway.
16:03LAUGHTER
16:04Right. This is where you get the chance to win some cash for your chosen charities. The one word that
16:12really matters now is money.
16:15This is where it gets serious. In this final, you will have 90 seconds on the clock. If you can
16:20solve just one more four-letter lingo, you'll win half of the money you banked tonight, which is a wonderful
16:27£2,850.
16:31That's not bad. That'll be all right. That'll be OK. However, we can do better than that. If you solve
16:38one more five-letter lingo, we'll give you all of the money you banked tonight, which is a wonderful £5
16:46,700.
16:47Look at that. Now, that would be great. Yeah.
16:49If there's still time on the clock, you can try your lingo luck at a six-letter lingo to double
16:57your money to a huge £11,400 for your chosen charities.
17:06As is the final, there is no time limit on your guesses. If you give us a word that is
