I always thought that traveling at the speed of light would make us the masters of the universe. But when I really researched the actual cosmic distances, it completely terrified me! Even if we go at the absolute speed limit of the cosmos, we'd still be stuck in a tiny metal box for thousands of years just to cross our own galaxy.
