00:30You can get lost right away in the first corner, so I want you to listen.
00:33Corner 1 is fast. I suggest you break late or turn in before the apex.
00:38You'll have understeer coming out, so try and get your speed up as quickly as you can.
00:45Take advantage of turn 5, as this is a perfect overtaking opportunity.
00:50It's a straight shot down with a left kink right before it.
00:54I suggest you take a line at the kink to block somebody.
01:00Corner 9 is the start of a very tricky carousel.
01:03Get your car to the left center of the track to set up for the entrance to the carousel.
01:06Normally you push too early, so you'll have to back off, lose speed, and get the car riding toward the
01:11center.
01:11Slowly track inward until you see the exit, then stand on.
01:17Once you straighten out at the exit of the carousel, you'll be accelerating toward the kink.
01:23This is a real gut check.
01:25It's a fast right-hand corner.
01:27If you take it right, you can stay on the power all the way through and avoid hitting your brakes.
01:31Make sure you apex right on the alligator teeth on the inside.
01:35It's important to take the kink fast as it sets you up for the next fastest straight on the course.
01:42A lot of people come here for the first time, and I tell them Road America is an easy course
01:46to drive, but very hard to go fast on.
01:48Have confidence in your driving and your car, and I know you'll do well.
