00:30L'Arabian Nights
00:31The Prince of Persia universe
00:32has this very distinct flavor
00:39The game kind of follows the Prince
00:41on an adventure in his brother's kingdom
00:44He arrives
00:45to find him under attack
00:50Malik, this is madness
00:52Malik is the Prince's older brother
00:53He's doing what he can for his people
00:55but he makes the wrong choice
00:57which releases the Sand Army
01:00It saves his kingdom
01:02from the invading army
01:03but the Prince who's had a little bit of experience
01:05with magical things knows that these things
01:07come at a little bit of a cost
01:08This army has a definite cost
01:11We want to make sure to respect the essence
01:13of the game
01:16The first time I played
01:17Sand of Time, it was like
01:20like the fluidity
01:22the agility, the elasticity of the move
01:23were incredible
01:24I think it's really the Prince's acrobatic prowess
01:27that makes him stand out
01:29The wall run for me will never get tired of
01:31It's the epic move that people know
01:32from the original trilogy
01:34We're bringing back all that
01:35Run on the wall, colon jumps, acrobatic wall jumps
01:38It's the move set from the Sands of Time Prince
01:41The control scheme that he has
01:43is really the same as before
01:45It's going to feel right to people
01:48The way the rewind looks
01:49It's the same ability, something people are familiar with
01:51We used the Anvil engine to build
01:53Forgotten Sands
01:54It was an engine that was built internally
01:56at Ubisoft Montreal
01:57originally for Assassin's Creed
01:59It allows us to really have
02:00a powerfully built environment
02:02We can have up to 50 enemies on the screen at once
02:04This makes for really huge battles
02:07Massive battle scenes that happen in the distance
02:09The type of stuff that was maybe implied
02:11in the Sands of Time, but we can show it
02:14The architecture itself is very detailed, very fine
02:18We're really going into that Arabian Nights, Persian feel
02:22There's a lot of emphasis on the beauty
02:24of the surroundings in the game
02:26The rooms are big
02:27We want the players to want to explore
02:29every nook and cranny of the environment
02:31Every aspect of the game is very handcrafty
02:34There's details everywhere
02:35We wanted to invent on top of that
02:37and bring a new flavor
02:38There is the pour over the elements
02:41Fire, earth, air, water
02:44I love the water for its power
02:45That's the thing that I can't stop watching people
02:49playing the game when they're doing that
02:51The jumps back and forth
02:53The fact that you have to use timing
02:55to kind of stop and start
02:56Players are going to come in feeling charged up
02:58Eager to see where this road is going to take them
03:02We have the core base and the acrobatics
03:04On top of that we've added the power over nature
03:06The manipulation of the environment
03:08The 50 enemy battles
03:10The epic boss battles
03:11There's so much in this to bring you back in
03:13It's the game you should play if you like the original trilogy
