02:45Now, plasmids are a pretty important part of Bioshock. They allow you to build your character.
02:49But since you're this special Big Daddy, since you're this unstoppable force, there needs to be something out there that
02:55is tougher than you are.
02:56Something that can take a Big Daddy out.

03:14And maybe something that can drain Adam out of bodies like a little sister.
03:49All right, let's take a breath here.
03:51So, as you can see, being a Big Daddy has its advantages.
03:54And among them is the ability to go outside and explore the ocean surrounding Rapture.
04:27This monster you chase.
04:29She is like the Golem story, not understanding the sin that she does.
04:34She is taking girls and turning them into creatures like her.

04:43So, in Bioshock 1, the ocean was very much a character.
04:46It was always with you, but at a distance.
04:49In Bioshock 2, you get to finally meet it face to face.

05:41But the most important change is in the way in which you interact with the Little Sisters.
05:45We call it Adoption.
05:53Now, that allows you to pick her up and put her on your shoulders.
05:56And the two of you become like a partnership.
05:58You protect her, and she guides you to the Atom.
06:01Now, you still want Atom.
06:03It's the stuff that allows you to build your character and alter your genetic abilities.
06:06Let's go find an angel, Mr. Bubbles.
06:16So, when your little sister guides you to one of these special bodies that has Atom inside,
06:21you're choosing to place both you and her at risk by putting her out in the world.
06:26And this is because the Atom that she's gathering attracts splicers.
06:30But you have some tools to deal with those splicers.
06:32You can use your plasmids and other traps to set a perimeter,
06:35and take out the ones that make it through.
