00:01Oh
00:13Hi my name's Matt Shell and I work here at LucasArts on Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings.
00:17Now I know you know there's all sorts of great aspects to this game we're really excited about all of
00:21them.
00:22But I wanted to take a minute to focus on one of my favorites probably the most iconic item in
00:27the indie universe his whip.
00:30One of the things that we wanted to do with the Staff of Kings
00:32was make it easily accessible to everyone.
00:35We wanted anybody to just pick it up
00:37and be able to jump right into the action.
00:40And he doesn't think twice about using his width.
00:42Be it as a navigation tool,
00:44so for things like swinging across gaps,
00:47a device to solve puzzles,
00:50reach something that he couldn't get,
00:52or even as a weapon to pull the feet out from underneath the bad guy.
00:56One of the more innovative ways in which we've incorporated
00:59the motion-sensing controls on the Wii Remote
01:01are the various ways in which you can take out an enemy.
01:04So you have a bad guy running at you with a crowbar?
01:06Not a problem.
01:07Flick your wrist to perform the whip crack,
01:09and out pops the item from his hand.
01:11If you want to whip an enemy and grab him around his neck,
01:14simply flick the Wii Remote upwards,
01:17then pull him in for a nice finishing move.
01:19If you flick the Wii Remote from right hand to left,
01:22and then you whip grab an enemy around the waist,
01:24pull the guy in for the sweet payoff.
01:27And my personal favorite,
01:29flick your Wii Remote downwards
01:30to ensnare a bad guy by his feet,
01:33pull back on the controller, reel him in,
01:35and then get a few more punches on the guy
01:36while he's on the ground
01:37by simply swinging the Wii Remote.
01:39You know, this game is really all about
01:41allowing players to experience a true indie experience,
01:44and I think having a whip that's so easy to use
01:46and is frankly just so fun
01:48will really allow players to feel more like indie than ever.
01:51I encuentro older y'all,
01:53All right.
01:55Who worried?
01:55All right.
01:56Who worried?
01:56So far,
01:58there you won't be,
01:58Grazie a tutti
