00:00Ellen, you've read the post. We've all read the post. You've seen the market moves. What's your reaction to them?
00:05It's incredible how much the market will move based on a post by the president, which has no backing.
00:13We've seen no proof. We have limited information from the other side, but it's incredible how much the market is
00:19moving.
00:19And the market hasn't even opened yet. So I think that we're really seeing in real time just how much
00:27this war is impacting not just stock markets, bond markets and energy markets as well.
00:34And I think Anri's point about how we're in a phase now of this conflict where we're seeing long term
00:40damage happen to energy infrastructure across the region.
00:44And that's going to be long term. And I don't think that we're seeing that long term damage reflected very
00:51much in, you know, in the price of Brent.
00:54It's really moving based on, you know, you know, a couple of words and a tweet.
01:00And that's not really reflecting the state of energy and signal and substance, the substance.
01:06People have questions about the substance. What does it signal? How instructive is the signal?
01:10So the signal is, I think, really important because it signals that there is movement towards de-escalation and that's
01:19that's generally good.
01:20Of course, I think we if we look at what's happened in the past, we know that five days is
01:25a really long time and it's unlikely that there will be zero military movement in those five days.
01:33And in fact, Trump was clear. He says we're going to hold off five days on attacking, you know, power
01:36plants and the like.
01:38He didn't say that they're not going to do anything else. And so I think that this is a little
01:43bit of breathing room.
01:44But I would not be surprised if in two days we see or even less than two days, we see
01:49the resumption of military attacks, maybe not exactly on power plants, but definitely attacks.
01:55And I would be surprised if we see any serious movement of ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
