00:28Satsang with Mooji
01:00The big man delivers once again for Derek McInnes.
01:05Hearts have done it again.
01:07A fourth 1-0 home win on the spin.
01:11Still top of the pile.
01:17Welcome to Sporting.
01:18As we hurtle towards the end of the season,
01:20every match at the top end of the table must win.
01:23After victories for Hearts and Rangers yesterday,
01:26three points absolutely vital for the defending champion Celtic here at Dungeons United
01:32who themselves need a victory to retain slim hopes of finishing in the top six.
01:37Foreman's last time we played him was really, really good,
01:40albeit against a different manager and a different system,
01:43but predominantly the same group of players,
01:45so we have to take confidence from that, obviously.
01:47It's a tough game.
01:48I've been here years and years ago and I always find the games difficult,
01:52even in a, you know, where there was more grass,
01:54so just expecting a tough game, I think the players are as well too.
01:58Mind you, having said this, I don't think we've had anything else but tough games,
02:02but looking forward to it.
02:06It's over to Celtic in the title fight after Hearts and Rangers took care of business.
02:11At this stage they can ill afford to stumble if they're to claim a fifth consecutive title.
02:17Dundee United still have faint hopes of a top six finish,
02:20but no, they must repeat their December victory for that to remain the case.
02:26United had the better of the derby but threw it away in injury time.
02:30Nonetheless, Jim Goodwin sticks with the same starting XI,
02:34including his beleaguered captain Ross Graham,
02:36who scored the equalising own goal last Sunday.
02:40Celtic are buoyed by the return of their captain, Callum McGregor,
02:44and there's a surprise start for Kelechi Iheanacho,
02:46who begins a game for the first time since the League Cup final in December.
02:51Obviously Chamberlain and Tunechti drop to the bench.
03:02Gerechi Iheanacho in the air and it's Chevalier forwards for Fata.
03:08It's got a pretty bright opening by Dundee United,
03:11making all the positive running.
03:14It's Faruja almost losing his footing,
03:17but gets it back to Chevalier,
03:18who'll tease it in towards the back post.
03:22Burried behind by Donovan,
03:24first corner goes United's way.
03:28Fata lurking there.
03:33Ferry then to deliver.
03:34The out swinger, it's a good one.
03:38Perhaps Max Waters will feel he should have done better there.
03:41Clearly something they'd worked on.
03:43Arriving late, couldn't guide it on target.
03:49Nugren for Hattati, back to McGregor.
03:54Tierney.
03:56It's pretty obvious the surface here is less than ideal.
04:02Hattati slips that through, looking for Nugren.
04:05Iheanacho makes the most of it,
04:07and now it comes out to Yang.
04:09Up against Ferry.
04:12Poor delivery.
04:14Having made the room for himself.
04:18Celtic's best moment of the game so far.
04:21Got the better of Ferry quite easily there, Yang,
04:24but his cross over-hipped.
04:29Magda retrieves it for Celtic,
04:31and it's Hattati bringing Tierney into the plate.
04:35Low ball in,
04:50Scales have made that front post run up, come back to Nugren.
04:54Arthur gets it to Tierney, a chance here.
04:56And just over from Ciarán Tierney.
05:00Managed to find the room to bring it down.
05:03And get the shot away here, Tierney.
05:06It's really well.
05:07Doesn't look like it misses by too much.
05:14Closest revamp so far
05:16to our goal.
05:20Unacho with the flick on.
05:25United recover it though.
05:27Farasia lets it run.
05:29Now it's Waters,
05:30Fata has been pulled back in the middle there,
05:31Waters tried to find him anyway.
05:33It evades him.
05:36Still alive though,
05:37here's Ferry, good save!
05:39From Ciri Sattel.
05:42Well, Ferry looking for his first under United goal.
05:45Not denied by the fence.
05:48Donovan just grappling there with Fata
05:51and just preventing him from making that.
05:54Ronan getting on the end of it.
05:56But Ferry
05:57stomped the palms of Sinai Salo.
05:59It's a good hit.
06:01And a good save.
06:10Fata picks up.
06:12Tries to slide it through for Faruja here.
06:15And does Scales bring him to the ground?
06:17He does.
06:18A yellow card for the Celtic centre-back.
06:23It's good play from Fata.
06:29And Scales
06:32it's not a massive amount of contact there,
06:34you would have to say,
06:35but
06:36Faruja gets the
06:37decision.
06:40Fata's the in-form player
06:41and it's Fata who goes for it.
06:43It's a poor effort.
06:44Comes back out to Yovu
06:45and that is
06:47well,
06:48that was a pretty atrocious effort.
06:59Fata is looking for waters there,
07:01but Scales stepped in.
07:07Atate now,
07:08it's a good ball.
07:09And the first time effort from Ian Accio
07:10is well stopped by
07:11Maynard Brewer.
07:13This is really only half a chance,
07:15a good ball from Atate
07:16and the
07:18instinctive first-time effort
07:20from Ian Accio
07:21would have found the back of the net,
07:23but that is a good stop from Maynard Brewer.
07:37up against Stephenson here,
07:39it's a good ball in,
07:41Maynard Brewer gets enough on it.
07:43and Stephenson able to
07:45walk it forward.
07:52So it's looking to try and get their noses in front
07:55before the interval.
07:57It could be crucial to do so.
08:02McGregor.
08:04Out to Tierney.
08:08Stands it up nicely,
08:09Graham's clearance only,
08:10as far as Atate onto the left foot,
08:12charged down,
08:14claims for a handball,
08:15but it looked like Graham
08:16had his arms behind his back.
08:26Atate does ever so well here.
08:32Don't think that's ever going to be
08:33a penalty.
08:36Arms tucked in.
08:40Atate!
08:46McGregor.
08:47Maeda, it's a neat pass.
08:49Atate, he seemed to slip there,
08:50Celtic fans wanted a foul
08:52given.
08:56He thought he just lost his footing initially.
09:00United survive,
09:02and now it's Fata bringing them forward.
09:05Farrouzia.
09:08He's going to get the better of Tierney here.
09:14Stephenson in support.
09:15It's a touch out of his feet.
09:17Sends it in,
09:17and the glancing header from Waters
09:19is on target,
09:20but no real trouble for Sunisalo.
09:35Agui.
09:38Forces it forward.
09:41Celtic have it back.
09:42Here's McGregor.
09:44Atate quickly closed down though by Chevalier.
09:46It's good ball winning
09:47from a United midfielder.
09:49Farrouzia now.
09:51Onto the left foot.
09:54Chevalier again.
09:56And Stephenson,
09:57this is a big chance for Ferry.
10:00Scores!
10:03So the first ever time
10:05in Dundee in empty colours.
10:08Will Ferry
10:08is on the score sheet.
10:11And that could be massive
10:14in so many ways.
10:18Well, he's been waiting
10:20a long time for that goal,
10:21Will Ferry.
10:28And here comes
10:29as Chevalier wins it
10:30from Atate
10:31in the middle of the park.
10:33And from then on
10:34it looks ominous for Celtic.
10:37Stephenson holding his line.
10:40Picks the ball
10:41all the way across
10:42to his fellow way back.
10:44Not the cleanest of efforts
10:45from Will Ferry.
10:46But having been denied
10:48in the first half
10:48by Sunisalo,
10:50he will lap that goal
10:53his first
10:55goal since scoring
10:56in League One
10:58for Cheltenham
10:59against Oxford United
11:00on the 9th of March
11:0220-24.
11:08So the Celtic
11:09are going to have to come
11:11from behind
11:12if they have to keep
11:13major pressure on
11:14Haps and Rangers
11:15above them.
11:18It's Ross Graham
11:19to fire in the
11:20free kick
11:21he gets his head
11:22to it.
11:23It's going to come here
11:23to Vata
11:24straight at
11:25Serizalo.
11:35He goes to Cato.
11:51It isСat曭
11:52to certify out
11:54to EI.
11:57Atati now, why is it going?
12:00I mean, Aboua almost made a real mess of that.
12:05Well, he's probably racing a little bit faster after that.
12:11I'm not sure if it was intended as a shot from Atati or if he was trying to pick someone
12:16out,
12:16but, wow, so close to a Celtic equaliser.
12:25Just the one clean sheet for Ashley Maynard Brewer in his United career so far,
12:29but he's just about preserved the one he has today.
12:46Tonight he's put that into a dangerous area.
12:54Aggie and Thun Ferry with that ball.
12:59It's beyond Atati, cuts it back,
13:02Waters with the strike blocked, it's going to come to Aggie,
13:06it's number two for Dundee United!
13:09Emmanuel Aggie!
13:12Who like well Ferry scores his first Dundee United goal!
13:18Well, what a second half this has proven to be!
13:22And Martin O'Neill has seen it all as Celtic manager.
13:26He wants his side, they're in big bother now.
13:30Ferry skips away from Atati and although Waters was denied there,
13:35it will be a check perhaps, no?
13:37Oh, Scales makes the block.
13:40Don't think there's anything untoward there either to prevent that goal being awarded.
13:49Celtic just couldn't get out quickly enough.
13:58Maybe just takes a little nick off the heel of Scales,
14:02but that is very much Emmanuel Aggie's goal.
14:09What a moment for the Guinean midfielder.
14:13And Celtic have it all to do now.
14:22Some anxious faces in the Celtic end.
14:26And in the Celtic technical area.
14:47Nugren back to Atati.
14:50Closed down by Ferry.
14:52He'll keep that in.
14:54Brilliant industry there from the wing-back.
14:57He fires a dangerous-looking ball in, it was almost number three.
15:02Ficco Chevalier getting on the end of the cross.
15:07Brilliant look at that from Ferry.
15:12Refused to give it up, then puts a brilliant ball in.
15:14Travelli arriving late, but straight at Sine Salo.
15:23Hatati.
15:27Tierney forward into a good area for McEwen, who will get the corner.
15:35He feels Celtic need a goal back quickly.
15:39As Nugren fires it deep to McEwen, who gets the short end,
15:43but didn't catch it.
15:46And Minar Breuer gathers that one in.
15:48Need to be careful here, though, the keeper.
15:59Aki picks up on the clearance.
16:02And it saps Ferds, tries to wriggle through.
16:05Brings to Chevalier, lovely footwork.
16:08Back comes Maeda, and flashes into the back of each goal.
16:12Chevalier will gladly take the free kick.
16:16And a yellow card coming out for an overzealous challenge by Dyson Maeda.
16:27A little Ferry having got one, fancies another.
16:31And here he is.
16:34And Sine Salo tipping over the crossbar.
16:39Well, why not when you're in such a rich scoring vein as well Ferry is today?
16:47Into the last ten minutes as Ferry swings another one in,
16:51that's not too far away.
16:53As Uri Jovo rolls over the top from the big Moldovan.
17:04Celtic have lacked inspiration this afternoon.
17:09Contenecti provides some here.
17:14Graham first to it, as he has been all afternoon.
17:20Here's Forrest.
17:24Onto the left foot, swing at it, it's Tierney, it's deflected, it's Minar!
17:28And he's sliced it wide.
17:32He reckons Minar Breuer got a touch on this, let's have another look to check.
17:37Forrest made a bit of a mess of his shot, not sure.
17:42Tierney's deflection.
17:46And O'Neill facing just a second-league defeat.
17:52And even Celtic's powers of coming from behind
17:57look like they will fail this afternoon.
18:04The United are on the verge of consecutive home wins over Celtic for the first time since April 1991.
18:19in 2021.
18:21Yang wins it back.
18:24Yusfata.
18:25Here's Fata.
18:28Maida still working hard.
18:36But there's a final whistle.
18:39It's a momentous victory for Dundee United,
18:42whose top six hopes, as faint as they might be, remain alive.
18:48Thanks to goals from Emmanuel Agui and Will Ferri,
18:52both of them their first for the club.
18:54But for Martin O'Neill Celtic,
18:57it is a potentially fatal blow to their title hopes.
19:02They remain in third, two behind Rangers, five behind Hearts,
19:06with just seven to play.
19:08An eighth defeat of the league season.
19:11It's more than in their previous two seasons combined.
19:16And it is not what they had in mind when they arrived at Tanadice today.
19:21But Dundee United picked a good time to produce arguably their best performance of the season.
19:32And then Celtic will have to ponder over the international break where they went wrong this afternoon.
19:40And it is Dundee United's day.
19:44And the Celtic board, coming under, severe criticism from some of their fans here.
19:53And it finishes at Tanadice.
19:55Dundee United two, Celtic nil.
20:00You know, to win it in the manner that we did this afternoon,
20:03you know, it was really, really pleasing for the group.
20:06You know, it's obviously coming into the game off the back of the disappointment seven days ago against Dundee,
20:11when we had arguably one of our best performances of the season.
20:15I thought the players showed really good character to bounce back from that disappointment.
20:19In particular, my defenders and even more so my captain, Ross Graham.
20:24You know, he was obviously devastated at the way things unfolded last weekend.
20:28And I thought he showed great character to come out and put on a display like he did today,
20:32to lead the back line in the fashion that he did, to keep a clean sheet against, you know, the
20:37firepower that Celtic have.
20:39Yeah, very, very pleased with everybody.
20:42We had a lot of possession in the first half.
20:44We seemed to be camped outside their penalty area.
20:47We couldn't penetrate them, really.
20:52And I thought the second half, I thought if we get going, we should be able to create one or
20:57two chances.
20:58That didn't materialise.
21:00They got the goal and deserve to win the game.
21:03But you're confident that the team can bounce back from this?
21:06Well, we have to bounce back.
21:07It's really as simple as this, as simple as that.
21:09We've got players, a lot of players away on international duty.
21:13Hopefully they can come through that.
21:16Other players have got some time off.
21:17But we'll try and put things right again when we reassemble.
21:23So, victory for United on the sands of Tannadice, the sands of time running out for Celtic.
21:29I'm joined by the former Celtic player and Dundee United manager, Jackie McNamara.
21:33Jackie, Jim Goodwin felt that Dundee United were the better team.
21:37Would you agree with that?
21:39Yeah, I would, actually.
21:40Over the 90 minutes.
21:41You know, I thought Celtic were maybe slightly better the first half.
21:44But United, by far, a better team second half and get the goals.
21:48And I thought they grew in confidence from that.
21:50How good were the Dundee United goals, would you say?
21:54And from a Celtic point of view as well, should they have defended it better?
21:59Yeah, I think Celtic today, I thought they played into United's hands a little bit.
22:03You know, they still try to play their game and play in front of them.
22:07You know, at times with the pitch the way it was, maybe sometimes just turn them.
22:12And it suited United.
22:14And a few times that they've broken them.
22:16And it caused them problems, which leads to the first goal.
22:18The attack gets dispossessed and the ball gets put wide.
22:22And they didn't deal with the cross.
22:24And obviously, very fortunate with his finish.
22:28But, you know, he had a good effort in the first half as well.
22:30Ferry, I thought he was one of United's best players today.
22:33There was a bit of consternation from the Celtic point of view.
22:37With Rio Hattati filling in at right back for the second goal.
22:40How big a factor was that, do you feel, in terms of United's second goal?
22:44Well, he's played there before.
22:46He should still, you know.
22:48The second goal, he's got to stand up.
22:50And he goes to the ground too early for me.
22:53And makes his mind up.
22:55And makes it easier for Ferry.
22:56And he cuts it back.
22:58Obviously, the goal comes in from that.
23:00The first shot, it's blocked.
23:02And then the second one goes in.
23:03The keeper's got no chance.
23:04But I don't think you can really, you know, just criticise him for that.
23:08No matter where he is in the pitch, he's got to stand on his feet.
23:11How good a reaction was this from Dundee United, would you say, overall, after the disappointment of the way it
23:17ended last weekend against Dundee in the derby?
23:21And Ross Graham as well, in terms of his performance today after the disappointment, personally, for the way it ended
23:27last weekend?
23:28Yeah, I think, I mean, I think United were very good last week.
23:32That's probably one of their best performances of the season.
23:34You know, to lose, or sorry, to draw the game, you know, from 2-0 up.
23:38And, yeah, it was a sore one for them and their fans, especially their local rivals.
23:42But I thought, yeah, he responded well today and he was solid.
23:46I don't think, I think Celtic get in behind them once in the first half where he and Achill possibly
23:51should score.
23:53But he didn't do enough.
23:54He didn't, Celtic never get in behind them enough today or cause them enough problems facing their own goal.
24:00And, you know, they're comfortable enough over the 90 minutes.
24:03Martin O'Neill had managed 20 wins out of 20 against Dundee United, the Celtic manager, which is quite remarkable.
24:09And it's probably quite telling as well in terms of what happened today, in terms of the calibre of squad
24:16that Martin O'Neill now has to deal with at Celtic.
24:19Five points adrift of hearts in this title race.
24:23Can you still see Celtic reeling that in, just seven games left to play?
24:28Not on that performance today, you would question.
24:31You know, I thought at times they were out-fought.
24:34And that, you know, you could see the anger in Martin during the game.
24:38Certain bits he'll be disappointed with the performance.
24:41And just play, as I said, playing to the conditions of the pitch.
24:44I know that's not an excuse.
24:45It's the same for both teams.
24:46But certain little bits there that play into opposition hands and keep trying to play football in certain areas.
24:52And try to play through the middle.
24:55United, at times, you know, to push them back to a five and get in behind them.
24:59They didn't do enough throughout the game.
25:03And Martin will be disappointed with that.
25:04But he'll also be disappointed with how they handled the game.
25:07You know, the decision-making at times there.
25:10Just to turn them or, you know, put each other in trouble rather than take responsibility.
25:15So, I think, you know, Celtic's now lost eight games this season.
25:20Yeah.
25:20You know, to win a title, to lose eight games, I think that would be the first time that's ever
25:26happened.
25:26So far, you know, they've still got a lot of big games to go.
25:29Yeah, they've lost more games, in fact, than Hibs are in fifth place.
25:32And they do play, obviously, in two weeks' time.
25:36And it's going to be tricky for Celtic now to catch things up.
25:39They've got to come back here, well, to Dundee, play Dundee, where Celtic have already lost this season.
25:45And they just need to keep trying to find a result to get back into this, Jackie.
25:51But it's looking tough for them.
25:52It is, yeah.
25:53And as I said, they lost earlier on in the season to Dundee.
25:56Again, quite similar.
25:58That was under Brendan, you know, playing for them.
26:01We need to do more to move the opposition.
26:04You know, they're a bit predictable at times, playing in front.
26:08And, you know, at this level, you need to ask questions, get to the byline, cutting balls back.
26:13And to say they didn't do enough offensively today.
26:16You still fancy Celtic for the title at this moment in time?
26:19Or is it looking like hearts and rangers for you, Jackie?
26:21Hand on heart.
26:23Yeah, I think it's looking like hearts and rangers, before Celtic anyway, on today's performance.
26:30I think, you know, as soon as the first goal went in, you know, I don't think you could see
26:36Celtic coming back.
26:37It was a bit fragile, you know, with some of their play and mentality at that point.
26:44I think they've done well.
26:46Certain games under Martin have come back really well.
26:49You know, with Kamarnock and they've been asked the question.
26:51But you can't keep doing that every game and giving yourself too much to do.
26:55And as for Dundee United, do they still have a chance of reaching the top six, would you say?
26:59They've still got a chance.
27:00Yeah.
27:00I think Jim will be, you know, be pleased after last week.
27:03As you said, you know, he was obviously very angry at the end of the game and disappointed because it
27:10was a game they should have won.
27:12But at home today, it's a great response.
27:14You know, he's beat Celtic twice this season at home, which doesn't, I think it's been 35 years since United's
27:20done that.
27:21So, you know, Jim's got to take a lot of credit for that and how he's came back from last
27:25week.
27:26Jackie, for the moment, thank you very much.
27:28Indeed, it has been a seismic Sunday in the Premiership.
27:31This was the best of the Saturday action.
27:37A game of few chances, but here's one for Pierre-Laundrie Caboury.
27:41Just McCracken to beat.
27:42Oh, he's found a stand.
27:46Hangs his head in shame.
27:49Because McCracken was in no man's land here.
27:52Excellent flip on from Claudio Braga.
27:55And Caboury's pace was enough to get through, but a poor finish.
28:01What can Leonard's deliver here?
28:03Sends it to the back post where McInty meets it.
28:07And McInty scores.
28:13The big man delivers once again for Derek McInnes.
28:17He grabbed one at Celtic Park.
28:20And another towering header from Oshie McIntyre.
28:25Delivers a huge goal and potentially victory for Hearts in their chase for the title.
28:36Dundee not done yet.
28:39Nerves everywhere in the stands at Tynecastle as Charlie Riley hits the deck.
28:43And Frankie Kent has already been booked.
28:45And he's going to get another and he's gone.
28:49Hearts down to ten for the last couple of minutes.
28:52As Dundee broke forwards.
28:54Kent just stuck the leg out.
28:57Try to jog on and hide from the referee.
28:59And Don Robertson picks him out and sends him down the tunnel.
29:04Fingernail biting stuff indeed.
29:08In it comes.
29:09McCracken's up.
29:11Flick forward.
29:13Spittle.
29:14Balloons it into the Edinburgh sky.
29:16He's after it again here.
29:18It's a bit of chaos at the ends.
29:20Hearts have it.
29:21Shanklin has it.
29:22McCracken's off his line.
29:25Just overcooked from Lauren Shanklins.
29:28We've seen him do that before in a Dundee United shirt.
29:32It's far from a terrible effort.
29:43Govich to Freckleton.
29:45Oh, he's sold that a bit short.
29:47And Barney Stewart might be in here.
29:49And Falkirk are 1-0 locked.
29:52The four-man in the Scottish Premiership continues his fine run.
29:58Five goals in his last four games now.
30:03And it's a brilliant finish from the big man.
30:07Just tucks it away.
30:09First time of asking.
30:10Into the bottom corner.
30:11Nothing Shemal George can do.
30:17The corner played right in towards the keeper.
30:20And it's Miguel Freckleton who rises highest for St. Mirren.
30:25Well, it was his mistake at the other end of the pitch that gifted Falkirk their opener.
30:31He has made amends immediately.
30:36Well, he's never picked up there by the Falkirk defence.
30:40Scott Bain comes and gets nowhere near it.
30:44And Freckleton just crashes the header in.
30:50Falkirk win it high.
30:52It's Brogio.
30:54He's been so impressive since joining in January.
30:58Well, that's a good ball.
30:59And to pick out Stewart.
31:00And it hits the post.
31:02Oh, it looked for the world like he had picked out the back of the net.
31:06But his header comes crashing back off the woodwork.
31:10It's Mark O'Hara to deliver.
31:14Whips it in.
31:15There's Liam Donnelly with the header.
31:18And St. Mirren are ahead for the first time in this match.
31:25It's Liam Donnelly with the goal.
31:27The makeshift defender this afternoon.
31:30But it's at the other end where he's making the difference.
31:35And it's another set piece that catches Falkirk out.
31:41Again, no defender really near him.
31:50Not much time left for Falkirk.
31:54Lyssa trying to skip away from the challenges.
31:57He wants the ball back.
31:59Oh, it hits the arm of Jadon Richardson.
32:00Big appeal from the Falkirk players.
32:04VAR will have a look.
32:14The ball does come off his arm, but it is his arm next to his body.
32:18VAR waves play on.
32:25Watkins picks up the loose ball.
32:29Moves away from Wilson.
32:31Delivers in.
32:32And that one's in.
32:39It's a lovely move from Watkins.
32:42Look at the swerve on that delivery.
32:45It's inch perfect from the experienced forward.
32:48And it's a tidy touch from Hugel.
32:51And the ex-Manchester United youngster guides it.
32:56Just off the post.
33:01Smith.
33:03Good move.
33:04Goes for goal.
33:05Off the post.
33:07So close for Livingston and Lewis Smith.
33:17And they survive this one by the width of the woodwork.
33:23Lewis Smith looking to launch.
33:26Livingston back to life.
33:31Well caught by Danso.
33:33It's Kilmarnock taking advantage now though.
33:36And a burst of speed.
33:39And there's the goal.
33:41That Kilmarnock have craved all second half.
33:45And it's Finlay Curtis.
33:49The on-loan Rangers man caps a special week.
33:54A national team call-up.
33:56And a huge Kilmarnock goal.
34:01It's excellent work from Hugel.
34:04A burst of speed.
34:05Curtis set.
34:06Stays calm.
34:08And prods the ball beyond.
34:10Jérôme Priyark.
34:12Safety for Kilmarnock now.
34:19Kabondolo loses out and pulls back.
34:23Finlay Curtis.
34:26Ryan Lee takes a moment to think
34:28before showing the yellow card
34:29to the Livingston man.
34:31And Ryan Lee is being directed over to the monitor.
34:36The argument is that Curtis
34:38with Jérôme Priyark
34:40off his goal line
34:43was going to have
34:44a goal scoring opportunity.
34:46And he's now
34:47summoning
34:49Brooklyn Kabongolo
34:50to show the red card.
34:53And Livingston's afternoon
34:54goes from bad to worse.
35:09No takers, so Boyle
35:10can try and bring it away.
35:12But there's the challenge.
35:13And here's the opportunity
35:14for the opener.
35:15Piezmann took too long.
35:19Elijah just didn't.
35:22Andrew Dallas and Graeme Lesley
35:24on V.E.R.
35:25checking for
35:26possible offside.
35:30There was
35:30Oscar Priyark
35:31in an offside position.
35:37V.E.R.
35:41He was offside.
35:43And Hibbs
35:44catch a break.
35:45It remains 0-0.
35:49Ball into the middle.
35:50Great ball two.
35:51Oro dropped it down.
35:53Here's Just.
35:54There was a shout for handball.
35:55Play will continue.
35:57Sparrow in at the back post.
35:58Good defending.
35:59Here's Piezmann.
36:01Sets up Watt.
36:02Tries to jab it in.
36:03Took it in stride as well.
36:06Not an easy one to take.
36:07Good skill.
36:08From Elliot Watt.
36:12Barletzer.
36:13With a pass on the inside.
36:15McGrath.
36:16Cadden.
36:17Goalkeeper has to come back.
36:18He was just caught off his line.
36:20Went with a punch.
36:21Welsh away.
36:23Well it was one of these
36:23crosses come shots
36:25that almost caught out
36:25Callum Ward.
36:29Just calls for it.
36:31Back out wide it goes.
36:33Low ball across.
36:35Maswanese.
36:36Didn't catch it cleanly.
36:40Brilliant play for Mullerwell though.
36:43You can see just a little bit behind him.
36:52But it has stayed forward.
36:53Sparrow can only watch it go back.
36:56Masiri was waiting for it.
36:58Boyle!
37:00Well that was chance for goal.
37:021-0-9 on appearance.
37:034-0-0.
37:05That's excellent football from Martin Boyle.
37:08Anticipated where it might fall.
37:10Just couldn't find the top corner.
37:17Motherwell nicked it off.
37:19Oh, and here's Maswanese.
37:21Maswanese for Motherwell!
37:23Goalkeeper made the stop.
37:26And they got lead upon.
37:28And the offside flag was up.
37:30All the same.
37:34They draw a blank as do the Edinburgh opponent's final scoreline.
37:39And Motherwell nil.
37:40Hibernian nil.
37:45Raskan with another switch of play for Romans.
37:51What can he do from here?
37:52He cuts it back.
37:53Mikey Moore's shot blocked.
37:57But it's in from Tocci, Chikwani.
38:00And finally, Rangers get their noses in front.
38:05The Moore's shot blocked.
38:07But on the follow-up, Chikwani just guided this into the corner.
38:12Raskan won it for Rangers.
38:14Now Nadiri.
38:16Mikey Moore.
38:18Steadying himself and scoring.
38:202-1 minutes into the second half.
38:23It's 2-0.
38:25Really well taken that by Mikey Moore for his 6th Rangers goal.
38:36Moore, Chikwani.
38:39On a Sanya in the way.
38:40Through for Moremu.
38:41Big chance for Dennis Guy.
38:43Good to get a goal.
38:43Back for Aberdeen.
38:46It's his first goal for the club.
38:48Chikwani's mistake.
38:50Through for Moremu.
38:51And it's really well finished by the German midfielder.
38:57In from Tavernier.
38:59And it drops for Niko Raskan to make it 3-1.
39:03It just popped up so invitingly that he wasn't going to say no.
39:07Oh, Nadiri.
39:11Nadiri.
39:12Jamfee fires that straight at the corner.
39:16Baden.
39:18Raskan clips it in for Mijovski.
39:23It's well won by Jaden McGomar.
39:29The flick back.
39:31And there's number four.
39:33And it's Boyan Mijovski against his old team.
39:37And it all popped back so invitingly.
39:41VAR having a look at it.
39:44It's that Conor Barron handball.
39:51And the goal doesn't stand.
39:55Back to 3-1.
39:58And it's Tavernier.
40:00As Rangers finish with a flourish.
40:03It's the captain's 13th goal of the campaign.
40:07Clipping the underside of the crossbar.
40:10And Mijov beaten again.
40:14So Hearts celebrating the return of Lonnie Shanklin and Cammie Devlin to proceedings.
40:20Just how big a factor will that be in terms of the close to this season?
40:24They've got Livingston and Motherwall as their last two games.
40:26Hearts before the split, Jackie.
40:28Shanklin's been a big player for them.
40:31Not just this season.
40:32You know, the last few seasons he's been there.
40:33He's a captain as well.
40:35So, you know, they've managed to cope without him.
40:39But I think he has been a miss for them.
40:41Just leading the line.
40:42He leads the line very well.
40:44And brings the midfielders into it.
40:45So, that's a massive boost for Hearts for the rest of the season.
40:49At the other end of the table, I should say we started the weekend on Friday night
40:52at your old haunting ground, Partick Thistle.
40:55Do Aberdeen need to start worrying about joining us on the BBC Scotland channel
40:59on Friday night's next season, potentially?
41:02I mean, they've been brought into it.
41:04I think, you know, Camarnock.
41:07I think Neil's done a great job.
41:08He's turned that around.
41:09He's got that little bounce that he's been really looking for.
41:12The last two games have been good for him.
41:15That was a big result for them against Falkirk.
41:19Yeah.
41:19For Craig to get that result.
41:21You know, Falkirk are very strong at home.
41:24And that will give them a real lift as well.
41:26So, yeah, Aberdeen, you know, they've not had that bounce yet from Steven Robinson going
41:31in there.
41:32They'd be hoping for that.
41:33He's got a bit of time now without a national break to do some work with the players and
41:37put his points across what he'll be looking for.
41:39But, you know, I think in reflection on the Rangers game, you know, there's a lot they need to
41:45improve on.
41:46Jackie, for the moment, thank you very much indeed.
41:47Tonight, the William Hill Premiership table looks like this.
41:51Hearts are on top with 66 points.
41:54Rangers three points behind on 63.
41:57Celtic third on 61.
42:00Dunne United still with an outside chance of possibly making the top six.
42:04But it's very much Falkirk's to lose.
42:07And at the bottom, Livingston loop doomed.
42:10Malmarnik and Samurin just three points behind Aberdeen.
42:13Plenty of football still to come, including the Scottish Football Roundup.

43:00at Tana Dice back in the year 2000.
43:04It was 20 wins out of 20 until today for Martin O'Neill against Dundee United.
43:09Where is this title race going next?
43:11From all of us on the sports team, goodnight.
43:16But I believe in you and me, God, I believe in the machines I heard you're looking for, say, yeah.
43:28When you put your faith in me, wait for God to intervene.
43:32Say it just, that's what it is.
43:34Let it all be eclipsed, so it's just, that's what it is.
43:40But it's the future, it just is.
43:44It's the future, it just is.
