00:06Well in this dev diary we're going to be talking
00:08about two more warframes. We're going to be talking
00:10about Excalibur, which is one of the starting
00:12warframes, and Rhino, which is our biggest
00:14most brutish warframe.
00:21The easiest way
00:22to start with Excalibur is to say
00:23it's the one that people have seen on the wallpaper,
00:26on the trailers,
00:27on basically...
00:29He's the poster boy.
00:33There's Slash Dash, which is your starter one.
00:35Yep. We were playing around
00:37the office, I had no idea who I was playing with,
00:39it was all new people, and it was like
00:41you could hear the Grineer's dog
00:43men behind the door, like that.
00:45And so, we're waiting the doors
00:47opening up, and then everyone had the same
00:49thought at the same time, and all four of us went
00:51and Slash Dashed you.
00:53Eight of them murdered in a second.
00:55light speed with your sword.
00:56But like everyone had that same kind of anticipation, like
00:58I know what to do here, which is awesome.
01:02And then the power jump, I think,
01:04from people's feedback on the YouTube channel
01:07and stuff, it's like power jump's my favorite
01:09or at those seconds
01:11it's so cool. It does look really cool.
01:13Like leaping up and then following up
01:15with a roll, because you have the momentum
01:16you just feel really,
01:19well, you feel ninja.
01:20It's the worst.
01:22I don't use it a ton, but it's awesome when you're going
01:24and it's like, okay, here's the exit to this room
01:27on your mini-map. You're like, oh, I know how to get up there.
01:29And then off you go.
01:33Part of the myth.
01:34Which is awesome, because
01:36it goes in a radius, a big bright flash,
01:39everyone's like, like that.
01:40And then you can just go in and just start.
01:42It's awesome for the melee combat.
01:44Plus, you're casting it
01:46like He-Man, and you're like,
01:48it's like, you know, the light
01:50of the world is shining.
01:52It's really cool.
01:58The perception for that one was like,
02:00what did that character just do?
02:02But it was the Rhino, and the Rhino,
02:04that's not the only thing he has.
02:08This was originally just called Stasis,
02:10I think, but the Rhino's stomp power.
02:12Where they're playing against
02:13the horde enemy, and like,
02:15the door opens up, and everyone gets murdered.
02:18So then like, okay, let's try that again.
02:20And you guys got in the elevator, down you go,
02:22door opens up, and then suddenly everyone's
02:24ready, and Jeff like
02:26walks them all and faces them all,
02:28and then you guys are going in there and slaps them into bits.
02:30Oh yeah.
02:31It's the sort of improvisational play
02:34and like saving those powers for like,
02:35just the right moment.
02:36Yeah.
02:39In fact, I was playing with him
02:41just this morning, just testing out
02:42mini-map changes.
02:44And Scott, and then he's just watching me play,
02:46and I'm just like,
02:48and they're just exploding,
02:50exploding. And then Scott's like,
02:52it's better when they just explode, right?
02:55Because they're just ragdolling, and like,
02:56yes, a billion times better.
02:57Because they just turn into like, red dust
03:00when you crush them.
03:01It makes sense, it is Rhino charging.
03:03It's pretty awesome.
03:06The Rhino skin one is pretty good too.
03:09Popping on, and basically
03:11I mean, I can't help but think of
03:13you know, comic characters I love
03:15that, you know, power up.
03:17It's such a simple ability
03:19that, you know, you know what it is immediately,
03:21people around you know what it is,
03:23and visually you can really make it look
03:25really cool and unique,
03:26and it just fits Rhino perfectly.
