00:34So this is session mode, and right now I've hooked up a drummer, an AI musician that's just been waiting
00:40for me to play with him.
00:45So when I start playing, the drummer starts playing with me.
00:51And if I play really quiet and subdued, the drummer is also going to play really chill along with me.
00:58But if I start playing harder, I'm going to play with them.
00:59And if I start playing harder and ramping up the intensity, the drummer is going to follow me.
01:04But we wanted to do more than just playing along with the drummer.
01:07So we went further, and we actually made a whole band of AI musicians to play along with.
01:20So you'll notice at the bottom of the screen is the Rocksmith interface.
01:24And right there in the center is the scale.
01:26What session mode is telling you is, play any of those notes, and it's going to sound good with the
01:31band.
01:35We have over 75 instruments for you to choose from.
01:38We have tons of different drums, different basses, guitars, keyboards, a bunch of synthesizers.
01:43You can affect the volume and the pan of each of the AI musicians.
01:47You can affect the tempo.
01:48You can change anything about your virtual jam session.
02:16Session mode actually has a lesson plan built into it.
02:19And that's the mission system.
02:20First mission, all you have to do is just play with your drummer.
02:24Later missions, add a couple more instruments, speeding you up all the way to be able to actually improvise and
02:29start creating on your own.
02:35Session mode isn't just for guitar.
02:37It also works with bass, even works in multiplayer.
02:40So you can have your friend come over, you can play bass, he can play guitar, you guys can play
02:43along with a virtual band.
02:44So we're really excited about what we've done.
02:47And we're very proud to continue to push forward new ways to learn and create.
