00:05We're here in Taipei, and over the next five days, we're going to race to every train station in Taiwan.
00:10Whoever gets more wins, but right now, it's 7.30 a.m., so we've got to go, go, go!
00:15All right, all right. Here we go, Matt!
00:18Let's go!
00:27Okay, here's the deal. There are 243 long-distance train stations in Taiwan.
00:32Over the next five days, we're going to be racing to see who can get more of them.
00:36That's a neat train! Look at the livery, yeah!
00:39Along the way, we'll be completing challenges.
00:41Estimate Monkey Mountain.
00:42Pitch a painting.
00:44Let's make a deal.
00:45Seeing sights.
00:46Yeah, that's sick.
00:47Look at the view.
00:48The view is great.
00:50Boy, we're, uh, it already feels like we are out here.
00:52And doing everything we can to stop the other team from claiming stations of their own.
00:56There was a problem with our passes, and now I think we might miss our train.
00:59Go, Sam, go!
01:00Go, Sam, go, go, go!
01:02Here's how it works.
01:06At the end of five days, the team with the most stations under their control wins.
01:10In order to take control of the station, teams must physically travel to it,
01:13and then place down some number of the game's currency, which we're calling chips.
01:17But we'll need to be careful because claiming a station doesn't mean we'll control it forever.
01:21If the other team goes to that same station and puts down more chips, they'll steal control of it.
01:26Each team starts with 50 chips, but can earn more by completing challenges, which are spread across the map.
01:32Each challenge is worth a different number of chips based on how hard or how risky it will be to
01:36complete it.
01:37For now, that's all you need to know.
01:38So now both teams have got to look at their options and decide where they'll want to head first to
01:42start earning chips and claiming stations.
01:45Welcome.
01:45You're our newest, quirked-up white boy.
01:47Hello.
01:48This is Mike.
01:49We'll introduce you more later.
01:50But first three challenges, we need to generate them.
01:52All right, Adam.
01:54We've got to generate the first challenges.
01:56Yep, yep, yep.
01:57Let's take a look here.
01:58Okay, so there's one in this cat village.
02:01That one's worth 25.
02:03I don't know what a cat village is.
02:06No.
02:07And then there's one sort of down the West Coast.
02:10Uh-huh.
02:10I think a big question right now is, like, what part of the board do we want to gain control
02:14of, right?
02:15Let me tell you.
02:16I don't like the East Coast.
02:18Okay.
02:19Strategically.
02:20We could go ahead and snag the West Coast line, which I think is the better line to start with.
02:26I think that, like, if we can have that under our control, it's going to throw a wrench in their
02:32works.
02:33Okay, then there's one worth 30 coins.
02:35That one is...
02:36Right here.
02:37Right here in Taipei.
02:38Oh, that's, like, right here.
02:41It's...
02:41We could get there in 19 minutes on the Metro.
02:43Would we want to do that?
02:44Yeah.
02:45And then once we complete it, it generates two more challenges.
02:47Two more ones.
02:48So we'd have more to choose from.
02:50I mean, the real question is, should we just go knock out this one that's close to us?
02:55Because, like, we don't have to travel there, right?
02:57We can go get those coins right now.
02:59They haven't made a move yet.
03:00I think we should do that.
03:02Oh, it looks like they're going.
03:03Okay, well, we're going too.
03:05I don't know where they're headed.
03:07Let's keep an eye on them.
03:08They're following us.
03:09Yeah.
03:09I think we can beat them.
03:11Are you sure we can beat them?
03:13I'm sure.
03:14It's going to be that kind of season.
03:15Yeah, I think they're headed to the park.
03:17Okay.
03:18I don't want to compete with them.
03:20I think we should go lock up the West Coast.
03:22I think we should maybe even arguably put, like, some decent claims down.
03:26Yeah.
03:26Let's go to the challenge that's on the West Coast.
03:28Okay.
03:29West Coast challenge.
03:30And on the way, we can get some claims.
03:31Okay.
03:37We want that.
03:39Got it.
03:42B-roll, B-roll, B-roll.
03:44I love it, B-roll.
03:47All right.
03:48We're on the move.
04:03Welcome to Taipei Main Station, Benjamin.
04:05I love being in Taipei Main Station.
04:08All right, then.
04:09All right.
04:09Okay, here we go.
04:11So, here are basically our options.
04:13We need to get to Zhenhuang Station, which is here.
04:17We can take the high speed, which would be about an hour and a half.
04:22Okay.
04:22Or we could take the low speed, which would be two hours.
04:25Now, we could claim a lot more stations on the low speed.
04:27We claim a lot more stations on the low speed.
04:29We can take this limited express that goes on the low speed route, but still hits all of the stations.
04:34To me, that's perfect.
04:35That's pretty good.
04:36That's in 13 minutes.
04:37That's pretty well timed.
04:37Let's do that.
04:39Where did we get this map?
04:41This is our own map that we made.
04:42Oh, they actually made it.
04:43No, you did not like this.
04:44This is our map.
04:45Sorry.
04:45Everyone wants our awesome map.
04:47Okay.
04:48Let's figure out where that is.
04:55So, we've got to go up and out.
04:58I think that's the park.
05:01That looks parky.
05:02It does look parky.
05:04This is a nice park.
05:05This is like the Central Park of Taipei.
05:07I don't think that's true, but...
05:09Oh, okay.
05:09I think it's a park.
05:12All right.
05:13All right.
05:13We made it to our spot.
05:14Challenge details.
05:15These are the mystery challenges.
05:17They're all numbered.
05:19Ready?
05:20It is called Go Birdwatching in Dayan Park.
05:28Go Birdwatching in Dayan Park.
05:30Dayan Park is an iconic birdwatching location in the heart of Taipei.
05:35Go to this sign, which lists 33 bird types that can be found in the park.
05:38One team member must attempt to memorize these birds.
05:41Once ready, the other team member will go and photograph a bird and then present it to the memorizer.
05:46The memorizer, without looking at the sign, gets one guest to successfully identify the bird.
05:51If they fail, they may reattempt once with a new bird.
05:54I've never had a good time with an animal challenge.
05:57I'm pretty good at spotting animals.
06:00I like this.
06:01I'm willing to let you do that.
06:02However, I will warn you, I am god-awful at memorizing things.
06:06Okay, well, then maybe we should switch.
06:07If you're halfway decent at memorizing, I think it's probably better.
06:10Okay, all right.
06:12Yeah, let's switch then.
06:13Well, nice pond.
06:15We're not here for that.
06:17We're here for the...
06:18Oh my gosh, there's a lot.
06:2032 birds...
06:2133 birds listed.
06:22So they do have...
06:23They have, like, the Latin name and the English name.
06:27That's a relief.
06:27I mean, I just want to point out, it's not like just a treepee.
06:32It's the gray treepee, and it's the black bull bull.
06:37What's the difference between a barbette and a nighthair?
06:40Oh, nighthair.
06:41All right, okay, let me...
06:42Give me two minutes to put this together.
06:44Cut away to Adam and Ben while I memorize.
06:46There's so many people here.
06:48Oh my gosh.
06:48Crazy.
06:55So we do have to decide...
06:56Yeah, how many chips do we want to put down on these?
06:58What kind of claims do we want to make?
07:00We have to go a lot of stations.
07:02Yeah, how many?
07:03So I think we just put down one on each.
07:04I mean, could we afford to do two?
07:07Let me look.
07:0822.
07:09So we could put down two.
07:11To me, that seems like a big risk.
07:13Yeah, I agree.
07:14We shouldn't be playing with that low of a balance.
07:16If we were to fail this challenge, we would be in huge trouble.
07:19All right, one chip each.
07:21I feel good about this.
07:22It's definitely...
07:23It's slow, but I think it's going to be a strong start.
07:26Now that Ben and Adam are heading west to claim their first stations of the game,
07:29I need to explain one last thing.
07:32While traveling is free, teams can only travel through stations that belong to them.
07:37If they're traveling through uninclaimed territory like they are right now,
07:40they need to put down at least one chip on each station to add them to their territory as they
07:44head down the line.
07:45If they ran out of chips, they'd only be able to travel back to stations they already own.
07:50That means that claiming stations is not only useful for earning points,
07:53but also for controlling certain parts of the map.
07:56If Mike and I want to travel along this same line,
07:58it's now going to cost us more because we have to flip each station to our side if we want
08:03to travel through them.
08:04Putting down big claims on important lines can be enough to completely block your opponent
08:08from entering certain parts of the map,
08:10and controlling the right areas at the right time is going to be the key to dominating this game.
08:15Here's one thing, Adam.
08:17So right now we're about to pass through this station, Bankiau.
08:21This is a station that is both high speed and low speed.
08:24Like if you want to go anywhere in the west, you've got to pass through here.
08:27So maybe it would be worth it to just fortify this station.
08:33Put like a five down.
08:34Just create like a wall.
08:36By the way, a team isn't allowed to control a station by more than five chips.
08:39So for an unclaimed station like Bankiau, five is the maximum amount Ben and Adam can put down.
08:45It'll encourage them to stay away.
08:48Take head east.
08:48I'm compelled by it.
08:49So that's a nifty little bit of strategy.
08:51Yeah, it's fun.
08:54Whoa.
08:55It's already pretty.
08:56Whoa, dude.
08:59Look at that.
09:00This is going to be like one of the prettiest seasons, I think.
09:04That's awesome.
09:16Okay, there's a bunch of pigeons, doves, turtle doves, spotted doves.
09:21There's magpies, moorhens.
09:26What's a drongo?
09:28All right, Mike.
09:30How are you feeling?
09:31Good, I think I'm feeling good enough to give it a first guess.
09:35So, you will find a bird, take a photo.
09:39Okay, this is a bird.
09:43All right, here's another one.
09:49Okay, maybe.
09:51This one could be decent.
09:53Could be.
09:54These birds are so cool.
09:55Look at that guy.
09:57Oh, it's really chilling.
10:00All right, this guy seems really distinctive.
10:04I really like this one.
10:07I think this one's pretty clear.
10:19You're feeling confident?
10:21I'm feeling confident.
10:22All right.
10:25I believe that to be a black-crowned night heron.
10:33I believe it to be this, which is number 12, which is a black-crowned night heron.
10:41Shopley looks like it.
10:43We're off to a good start.
10:47I learned all the pigeons and turtle doves and doves that they have.
10:51But you know what?
10:52I'm going to forget it all.
10:52Let's keep going.
10:53Ben, we have a message from Sam, and I would say I'm worried about how early he sent it.
10:58Yeah, that was fast.
10:59Okay.
11:00They have completed the challenge at Dawn Park.
11:02Well, that is quick.
11:04Well, let's see what the new challenges are, shall we?
11:06Yeah, let's see what's dropping now.
11:10We generate two.
11:11One of them is all the way down there.
11:16West Coast.
11:17The other one, it's to the east.
11:19Okay.
11:20It's at this hot springs, but it has a variable reward.
11:25So that means depending on how well you accomplish it or...
11:28Yeah.
11:28Well, an otter just...
11:30That's cool.
11:31That's not a bird.
11:33So I now suspect they'll probably go east.
11:36It would be pretty expensive for them to follow behind us and try and start taking our territory down.
11:43Yeah.
11:44I think they probably want to get some territory of their own.
11:47This is the awesome thing about having a beard is I feel like I can really...
11:50It helps me.
11:51Yeah.
11:52Yeah.
11:53I'm thinking you're really good now.
11:55We'll see what they do.
11:57Let's see which direction they are going.
11:58Oh, yeah.
11:59Where are they?
12:00We're going west.
12:00Okay.
12:01So do we want to go east?
12:03If we go west, that means we're fighting with them, taking chips off each other.
12:08If we go east, we're free for at least today, possibly tomorrow.
12:12Regardless, we want to get to Taipei Main Station.
12:14So how about let's get going and we figure it out on the way.
12:17Yeah.
12:21Sam, I have an idea for a team name.
12:24Ma'am.
12:24Thanks to the bird, I think we should be the night herons.
12:28Sounds cool.
12:30Normally, we just do like a portmanteau of our names.
12:32No, I'm just laughing.
12:33I mean, it was a very cool bird.
12:35It was a great bird.
12:36I would love to have its hairstyle.
12:38Yeah.
12:53It was a great bird.
12:55Let's get in.
12:57There's one of many more.
12:59I thought he was really flying in there.
13:10It's pretty here.
13:11Benjamin, it's pretty here.
13:13This is what we've been told.
13:15Yeah.
13:16That's what everyone said.
13:22Welcome to Tsing Chuan.
13:25Tsing Chuan.
13:27That's what it sounded like they said on the train announcement.
13:30Okay.
13:30I don't trust either of us.
13:32Yeah.
13:32The important thing is we have to get to the river.
13:34The challenge is at the river.
13:35We don't know what the challenge will be.
13:37No.
13:37But it's a little bit of a trek.
13:38Yeah.
13:41Well, you know, 40 chips is pretty good.
13:45It's nothing crazy.
13:45So hopefully this challenge is not...
13:47Yeah, I'm hoping this challenge is not super hard.
14:04It's convenient for the camera.
14:06We've already been there.
14:06Oh, yeah.
14:07Waiting time.
14:08We need to make some decisions.
14:09Well, okay.
14:10If you look at the map, the west side has a lot more lines that cross the high-speed rail,
14:16regional rail.
14:17Whereas if we go east, there is one and only line.
14:20So if we go that direction and we drop a bunch of chips on the first bunch of stations to
14:26essentially
14:27defend it, then that gives us a lot of freedom to run without feeling like they'll take it over.
14:32Yeah, and we can kind of build like a bit of a fortress from Taipei to really disincentivize
14:38them from ever competing in the east.
14:40Right.
14:40Okay.
14:41Next question is, what do we do on the line?
14:43We're going to hutong.
14:44What if we did three stations with five in a row?
14:47Yes.
14:47Build a wall.
14:48Yes.
14:49Then one on the rest.
14:50Because we do have a balance.
14:51We do have a bigger balance.
14:52I feel very good about that.
14:54And then all the other ones we put once.
14:55Good on that strategy?
14:56Good on that.
14:57Should we get on the train?
14:58Let's go.
15:00I'm so excited to get on the trains.
15:03I want to see the sights.
15:06We are pretty much out here.
15:07Oh, look at that.
15:08That's kind of cool.
15:09I mean, just this view.
15:10This is a great view.
15:11Look at that.
15:11You got the mountains and the bridge and the...
15:14Here, do a little zoom.
15:16Really frame that shit up.
15:21Yeah.
15:22All right.
15:23We haven't mentioned who are you, by the way.
15:25Oh, my name is Mike.
15:26I run a YouTube channel called Downy Live.
15:28And it's about fun things like riding trains or blimps or going to Formula One races.
15:34Transportation type stuff.
15:36Formula One is transportation.
15:38Yeah.
15:38They drive cars.
15:40Yeah.
15:45All right.
15:47Our first train of the season.
16:00Oh, wait.
16:01Have they started moving yet?
16:02Let's take a look.
16:03Yes.
16:04Predictably, it looks like they're heading east.
16:06I think that starting east is a mistake.
16:09I think it's...
16:10It definitely is going to reduce their flexibility.
16:13Yeah.
16:14Which...
16:14We're going to have a lot more options.
16:16They've put five on a station down that way.
16:20I mean, we're both doing a little bit of defense.
16:23Yeah.
16:23We have no interest in going that way.
16:25At least not yet.
16:26Yeah.
16:27But it's going to be a little bit annoying when we do eventually go that way.
16:30Yeah.
16:31Very possible we end up going along the east from all the way from the bottom.
16:35I think that's very likely.
16:37All right.
16:38Let's get to this river.
16:43Okay.
16:46Let's see what our challenge is.
16:48Are you ready?
16:49I'm ready.
16:52The floor is mostly lava.
17:00The floor is mostly lava.
17:02Choose one team member to cross the Tofu Rocks.
17:04There's only one correct path to the other side,
17:07which they will have two minutes to memorize before they cross.
17:10Once they begin their attempt,
17:11if they step on the wrong rock
17:13or deviate from the path in any way,
17:15they are incinerated and the challenge is failed.
17:18All right, Ben.
17:19We have to pick one of us to memorize.
17:22How confident do you feel?
17:23Um, well, I'll note that I'm very hungry.
17:28I was trying to get a snack earlier and I failed.
17:30I do think that historically,
17:33I have been slightly better at memorization challenges than you.
17:37Yeah, that is pretty clever.
17:39Nope.
17:40That is pretty clear.
17:41What did you do to turn around?
17:44Oh, I turned around too early.
17:46The driver doesn't worry if he takes the journey slow.
17:50Driving.
17:51No, it's driving.
17:53It's driving.
17:54He goes, he, now, because we're talking about the drive.
17:56I think you do have a very good memory.
17:58So here's something that I think we could establish now before looking.
18:04I can right now in my head decide what sort of mnemonic device I'm going to use.
18:08Right, right.
18:08Like what is the best way to study?
18:10Because ultimately, there's always going to be like eight ways you could go.
18:14Eight ways you could go.
18:15Yeah.
18:15Then I just have to memorize a number.
18:18Yeah, that's pretty good.
18:20I think numbers will be a little bit easier.
18:22Okay, I'm going to memorize it with numbers.
18:23All right, Ben, you got to have a timer ready.
18:25I'm going to bring out my iPad so that I can be like translating it.
18:29I'm ready now.
18:31Okay, here we go.
18:34Two minutes on the clock.
18:35Wait, oh no, this is crazy.
18:36It's offset.
18:39No, this system isn't going to work.
18:42There's actually five that surround them.
18:45So it's going to have to be one, two, three, four, five, six.
18:49So it's going to be one, one, three, three, one, one.
19:00Okay, now I'm just going to have to do it visually.
19:03All right.
19:03Get that in your brain.
19:05Stick it in the brain stem.
19:06You know, I wanted to mention, by the way, I realized that I think this season I really want to
19:14win.
19:16I really want to lock in.
19:19I'm glad to hear that because that's the only reason I came, Sam.
19:22Let me do the take that we put in if we lose.
19:24Okay.
19:26You know, what I realized a couple of seasons ago is like, it's really not about winning.
19:31Yeah, I just have to look at it.
19:34All right, that's time.
19:35One, two.
19:36One, two.
19:39I shouldn't have been trying to, I got too fancy with it.
19:43You're starting from that edge.
19:45Yeah.
19:46Okay.
19:47I'll come down to with this.
19:49All right.
19:52All right.
19:52I know the first one.
20:09Then it makes like a triangle.
20:16Yeah.
20:22Yeah.
20:31All right.
20:32This is where I completely lose it.
20:43Yeah.
20:43Yeah.
20:44Yeah.
20:53No.
20:54Was it that?
20:55You had to go that way.
20:56It was that way?
20:57It was that way.
20:58So just by the way, Ben and Adam failing this challenge is going to create two big problems
21:02for them.
21:03For one, they're almost out of chips and they just wasted a bunch of time for nothing.
21:07The other problem though is that this challenge is going to stay on the board and the reward
21:11is now getting boosted.
21:12They can't reattempt it, but Mike and I can.
21:15If we manage to complete it, we'll earn a whopping 60 chips instead of the 40 that Ben and
21:20Adam we're competing for.
21:21Yikes.
21:22All right.
21:23Well, that's not so good.
21:25No, it's a tough loss of 40 coins.
21:32Well, we'll have to inform them that we failed here and that this challenge is now worth 60
21:39if they're able to complete it.
21:41But there's no way.
21:42Look, I'll tell you what.
21:44I don't think they're completing it.
21:46I hope they come waste their time.
21:50They failed it.
21:52No.
21:53No.
21:54No way.
21:56Okay.
21:57We're off to a good start.
21:59Let's not get ahead of ourselves.
22:01Oh, wow.
22:01I did not expect that.
22:04Does that change anything?
22:06We're winning.
22:07That's what changed.
22:09Yeah.
22:09It's not over yet, Sam.
22:11No, the game's over.
22:13No.
22:14This is them being McLaren, being disqualified in the race.
22:17And we're Max Verstappen.
22:20It's inevitable.
22:21It's inevitable.
22:23Max Verstappen World Drivers' Championship is inevitable.
22:28So, we're poor.
22:29How many chips do we have?
22:31I think we have 23.
22:33Okay, that's not a ton.
22:34But we're right near the high-speed line.
22:36The fastest way to do this is to go up to the high-speed, go down, and then transfer.
22:42You can do it in five stations.
22:43Okay.
22:44Well, I mean, look.
22:46I certainly would love to be putting down bigger claims on the high-speed, but that is a luxury that
22:52we simply can't afford.
22:53Nope.
22:54There's a train at 1107, so we should be able to make that if we leave right now.
22:59Okay.
23:00Ugh.
23:01Sorry, man.
23:02It's okay.
23:03Look, I don't think I would have gotten that, that's for sure.
23:06Shoot!
23:26Okay, we are in Hutong.
23:28Is that one more chip?
23:30Yes.
23:31Ready?
23:34We'll just edit that in post so it works.
23:36No, we won't.
23:39Welcome.
23:41Oh, it's chillier here.
23:42Oh, it's raining.
23:44All right.
23:45What do you reckon we get?
23:46We've got to do something cat-related here, surely.
23:49Yes.
23:49Okay.
23:50Cat village.
23:51It's a village for cats?
23:53I think it's, yeah.
23:56Oh, a black-breasted warbler.
23:59Is it?
24:01Do you assume every bird is that now?
24:03Yeah.
24:04It's like an old rail yard.
24:05Nice.
24:07Cool.
24:08This is it.
24:09I mean, you just never know where you're going to end up on jet lag, do you?
24:12Yeah.
24:12You ready?
24:13Yeah.
24:14Oh, no.
24:16Cat-ving-ger hunt.
24:23Cat-vinger hunt.
24:24Once a rich coal mining town, Hutong is now best known for its massive population of stray cats.
24:30You have one hour to find and photograph all of the following cats.
24:33A cat that is asleep, eating, touching another cat, more than 15 feet from any other cat, and above you.
24:39No cat may be used in multiple pictures.
24:41Okay.
24:42Okay.
24:43Those two cats are 15 feet apart.
24:44Under the woodshed and the white one.
24:47Do we have to photograph it, you said?
24:49We do.
24:50Those two are 15 feet apart.
24:52They are right now.
24:53I think that one's going to be easy.
24:54I think the rain is going to make things trickier.
24:57A cat eating is going to be tough.
24:59Oh, there's food there.
25:00Hello.
25:01You want to eat, kitty cat?
25:03Hi.
25:04Oh, there's no food in the bowl.
25:06That guy.
25:07Okay.
25:08We have found cats.
25:09Finding them above us.
25:11They're not really going to be on a roof when it's raining.
25:14No.
25:15And eating is going to be hard.
25:17Okay.
25:17I'm going to walk this one as our 15 feet one.
25:19Yeah.
25:20Those two.
25:20Those are definitely more than 15 feet.
25:22Yes.
25:22Okay.
25:23So we've got one.
25:24Touching another cat, right?
25:25That one's going to be tricky.
25:26Cats do not like associating.
25:29They, I agree.
25:30Above us.
25:31Oh, there was one on that patio.
25:33There was one.
25:34Do we stand under?
25:35Does one of us go up with the camera?
25:36Maybe.
25:37Because we can, like, squat.
25:40Wait.
25:40Oh.
25:40Wait.
25:42Oh.
25:42No.
25:43Sniffing.
25:44Are you two going to touch?
25:46Wait.
25:47Okay, but here's the thing.
25:50Oh, is that above you?
25:51He's definitely, he's fully above me, right?
25:53Yeah.
25:54Yeah.
25:55That's a clear.
25:56Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
25:57Oh.
25:58That's eating?
25:59Huge.
26:00Huge.
26:02Okay.
26:02Two and one.
26:03Oh, these guys are so cute.
26:05They're so cute.
26:06Oh.
26:07Oh, my God.
26:08That's a little.
26:09We're not allowed to double count.
26:10But as in, like, if these two touch.
26:12So, I think.
26:13Oh, okay.
26:13So, move on.
26:14Yeah.
26:15Okay.
26:15Do we want to just.
26:16Oh, man.
26:16These ones are so tiny.
26:18So tiny.
26:19So cute.
26:20Man, these cats are copious.
26:21I think the touching.
26:23Surely there are a bunch of cats that are, like, hidden somewhere warm.
26:27I'm reaching out.
26:29Touching hands.
26:31Touching you.
26:33Sweet.
26:34I'm going to cut it.
26:35Catchy line.
26:36We don't have the rights to that.
26:37Oh.
26:38I'll hit.
26:43It's so serene.
26:45Are you feeling serene?
26:48Not really.
26:50I would be feeling serene if I had walked on those rocks correctly.
26:56Well.
26:57We'll get our serenity back.
27:00I want serenity now.
27:03We need a little, sweet little kitty cat.
27:06This one's so cute.
27:07There was one in the station that was kind of sleeping on that water.
27:11I agree.
27:12Thing.
27:12We could go head back there.
27:13Yeah.
27:15Oh, he's awake.
27:16Oh, he's not sleepy.
27:18Oh, underneath.
27:19Underneath the table.
27:21Oh, there.
27:23That's our sleeping cat.
27:25That is a very sleepy cat.
27:27Very sleepy guy.
27:29Okay, so we just need one more.
27:34This is interesting, though.
27:35Whoa, what an overpass.
27:37Yeah, that's a fancy overpass.
27:40I feel like I'm on a movie set.
27:42Or like we're going into a haunted house.
27:44Excuse me.
27:45Do you know where any more cats are?
27:47I mean, it's an appropriately named village.
27:49There are a lot of cats here.
27:51Oh, here's another cat.
27:52Let's let these two do their thing.
27:56Okay.
27:56There you are.
28:00Yeah.
28:01No.
28:01Oh, oh, oh.
28:02Step back.
28:03Step back.
28:04Let it happen.
28:05No.
28:07No.
28:08The problem is cats don't like their cats.
28:10I know.
28:12They just swap spots.
28:14Like.
28:14Did those two?
28:15Yeah.
28:16Did you have to touch that one?
28:18No.
28:19But maybe.
28:20They're getting mad at each other.
28:22Oh, that one's about to throw up.
28:23As you said.
28:24Maybe they'll fire.
28:24That one just threw up.
28:26Oh, it did too.
28:28Oh.
28:28Wait, maybe they'll.
28:29Maybe they'll.
28:29Maybe they'll touch.
28:30Talk to each other.
28:31No.
28:32No.
28:34Okay.
28:42All right.
28:43We made it back to the station.
28:44We got a pretty well-timed train, actually.
28:47To the high-speed station.
28:48And then down we go.
28:50It does look like they're still at Huchong.
28:53Wow, they're really struggling.
29:08There's another cat there.
29:10And there's another cat this way.
29:11Will they touch?
29:17We got a way out of shape.
29:19We did fight, love.
29:22Oh.
29:23Come on.
29:25Either fight or love.
29:26Go nuzzle them, yeah.
29:27Got to be quick with the photo.
29:31You're stealing your food.
29:32Oh, we could be here for ages.
29:36What's happening?
29:38I'm just going to cry.
29:39Oh, look at them.
29:39Look.
29:41This went from very easy to very difficult to almost impossible very quickly.
29:46It hasn't been that long.
29:48It's not catastrophe.
29:49Right.
29:49Look at the view.
29:50I mean, good point.
29:53The view is great.
29:55Still an impossible task.
29:58Whoa.
29:59This looks like the sheriff in town.
30:01Yeah, he looks on a mission.
30:04Yeah.
30:05There's another white one eating under there.
30:07Get this one eating.
30:08I'm going to get this one eating.
30:10You got him eating?
30:10I got him eating, yeah.
30:12And I'll prove that he was eating.
30:17I think let's go check out that cage.
30:19Right.
30:19So if we could swap those out.
30:20Yes.
30:21For the two touchy ones.
30:22Right.
30:22We have the eating.
30:23I'm not worried about the one above you.
30:24I think that one we can get relatively easily.
30:26Okay, so let's head back.
30:28I'm feeling good about the cage.
30:29They seem to like each other.
30:30I agree.
30:31I'm going to get this one for one above.
30:34In case we want to swap out.
30:37He's definitely above you.
30:38Fully above you.
30:39Thanks, buddy.
30:40This cat's cooler than the others.
30:43Oh, they might be touching right now.
30:45Oh, they're awfully close.
30:47Oh, come on.
30:49Okay, what if we give him some love?
30:54Okay, come on.
30:56Oh, come on.
30:58Come on.
30:58Oh, it's touching.
30:59It was, but I don't think you got the photo.
31:01Come on.
31:02You can analyze the photo in a second.
31:03The tactic works.
31:05Oh, yeah.
31:06Aren't you jealous of this love?
31:07Come on up.
31:08Come on up.
31:10Yes, yes.
31:11Oh, no, he's going away.
31:13It's not touching.
31:15That was it.
31:15Did you get it?
31:16Oh, that was it.
31:17All right, we've analyzed the playback, and at the moment of the photo taken, they were
31:23indeed touching.
31:24There was impact.
31:25There was impact, and we captured the impact.
31:27So, we've done it.
31:30Challenge accepted.
31:35Ben, we have a text from Sam.
31:37They have completed the Catvenger challenge.
31:41We're sort of getting out to the lead.
31:43We're getting chip-bogged.
31:46Yeah.
31:48But we're about to do so much awesome stuff, so we don't even have to worry.
31:53And also, we should look at now, two new challenges should be generated.
31:57First, we need to generate two challenges.
31:59Oh, yeah.
31:59So, let's do that quickly.
32:01Oh, there's one more.
32:01South on the east.
32:03Variable reward.
32:04Oh, that one's way down.
32:06That's far the other way.
32:08Yeah.
32:08So, none of those, I think, should impact other movements that much.
32:13Okay.
32:14So, a new one on the east coast.
32:15It's west coast.
32:1730 coins.
32:18It's pretty far down.
32:19It's further down.
32:20Yeah.
32:20So, I think there's no chance we want to go to that first.
32:23Well, but we can go to it next.
32:25That's not bad.
32:26That's not bad.
32:27This makes me think.
32:27So, we could go to what they just did.
32:29Tofu Rocks.
32:30But they failed it.
32:31They failed it.
32:33And we're also in no rush, because they can't attempt it again.
32:36This kind of makes me think, continue to this challenge.
32:39Then consider turning back to Taipei.
32:42Yep.
32:43Having really solidified this section.
32:45Yep.
32:46And setting ourselves up for more competitive action on the west coast tomorrow.
32:51I agree.
32:51All right.
32:52So, wait for this train.
32:53It's in 24 minutes.
32:54Perfect.
32:55Sounds good.
32:56Would you like a coffee?
32:57I would love some.
32:58I would love maybe some food.
32:59A cat coffee.
33:01I'm sorry.
33:04I'm sorry.
33:19I got it.
33:20So, we need to hurry a little bit.
33:22Okay.
33:25Train's in six minutes.
33:26It's 1122.
33:28It says it's on time.
33:30It still shows.
33:34You got that business guy to start running, too.
33:38Invalid card.
33:40Uh-oh.
33:44No.
33:45It's not working.
33:46Nope.
33:47Well, Ben, we've missed our train.
33:49Yeah.
33:50Our rail passes, you have to show them to a person.
33:54Yeah.
33:54And so, we were moving too slowly.
33:57But there's another one in 25 minutes.
34:02We're off to a rough start.
34:04This is not one of our finest starts.
34:07I'll tell you that.
34:08But it's okay.
34:09It's going to put them at ease, and then we will strike.
34:13Yeah.
34:14Yeah.
34:15For sure.
34:16We've acquired milk tea.
34:20Milk tea boba.
34:20And caffeine coffee.
34:22That's interesting.
34:23Yeah.
34:24This is great.
34:25Good.
34:26Let's see what they're doing.
34:27Oh, so they're probably waiting.
34:28Oh.
34:29The next highest we trained for them is not for another 29 minutes.
34:32That is tough.
34:33That was poor planning on their part.
34:36Man.
34:37I don't want to get my hopes up, because luck is never on Team Sam's side.
34:41You'll learn that with time.
34:42And luck can turn quickly.
34:44I mean, it doesn't really turn if it's always bad luck for me, which makes me think that there
34:49must be some roundabout way in which this is good for them.
34:51Ben?
34:54Yes.
34:55What do you got?
34:56We may be here in Sinshu Station, but in a larger, more philosophical sense, we are in
35:08the Snack Zone, baby!
35:18I love these so much.
35:20Welcome to Snack Zone.
35:21Today we'll be trying cool-ish.
35:28Oh, my God.
35:30Cool-ish.
35:31More like the coolest snack around.
35:42I think we have Snack Zone cool-ish before, but it's extremely deserving of a second Snack
35:49Zone and a third and a fourth.
35:51And we will keep snack-zoning it every time we come across it, because it is one of God's
35:57greatest gifts to man.
36:01It's a very aesthetic coffee shop.
36:02I can't take the coffee on the train, so I've got to cool it off quickly.
36:06Down one.
36:07Suck it up.
36:07Just scald my throat, my esophagus.
36:10Yeah, you don't want to get back to the drink.
36:13Back to the trains.
36:14I think it is...
36:16Yeah, self-bound 1A.
36:19How do you know?
36:201139.
36:21I also speak Mandarin.
36:23That's amazing.
36:24Yep.
36:25You didn't prep for the season?
36:26I didn't take lessons for the last six months?
36:29Okay, so before we get on, what do we want to do for deposits?
36:32I mean, I think we agreed on our fortification plan, and I'm happy with it as is, unless you
36:38want to drop more.
36:40I tend to think that, considering there's no steel on the board, I kind of want to keep
36:43budget.
36:44Yeah, I agree.
36:45So, I think minimum deposit, under the theory that we're probably going to turn back towards
36:51Taipei.
36:51Yes.
36:52Train.
36:53Train.
36:53This is a different train.
36:55Different rolling stock.
36:55Oh, this is a cool red one.
36:57Oh, I love the font.
36:58Taiwan font.
37:00Are you clapping for the train?
37:07That's a neat train.
37:09I think I appreciate it.
37:09Look at the livery.
37:10Yeah.
37:11Okay.
37:15We missed the shot of the train arriving.
37:18Sorry.
37:25Oh, nice seats.
37:28Yeah, I'm up to the floor.
37:29Goodbye, cats.
37:30Yeah.
37:32Goodbye, kitties.
37:35They're very good kitties.
37:37Very good kitties.
37:38Very good kitties.
38:01Okay, we need to get to the local station.
38:15Off to Chenghua, and then some chips, finally, please, God.
38:21Yeah, and we're just going to put one chip down on these next two.
38:55Watch your step.
38:57All right.
38:57So we need an update.
38:59How many stations do we check off?
39:01We're at 24, I believe.
39:03So they're still in the lead, but not by that much.
39:05But we have a whole heck of a lot more chips than they do.
39:08And we're going to nail this challenge.
39:11That's right.
39:12You know, I think they're still pretty far from their challenge.
39:14There's a chance we can complete this challenge before they even get their first challenge done.
39:18Or at least first challenge successfully done.
39:21Okay.
39:21So that gives us a strategic advantage.
39:24Yeah.
39:27Whoa.
39:29This is pretty.
39:30This is very pretty.
39:32Wow.
39:33Oh, it's a little walkway.
39:36You want to take it?
39:37Yeah, I do.
39:38I put it here for us.
39:43That's very vibey.
39:45Very fun.
39:46Okay.
39:46We're going to the hot spring park.
39:48Ooh.
39:49Which I hope means we're going to a hot spring.
39:51That would be very nice at this moment.
39:52I didn't bring a bathing suit.
39:53Uh.
39:54Uh.
40:13All right.
40:14Benjamin.
40:15We've made it to Chang Qua.
40:17Welcome to the wonderful place.
40:19I don't know if it's a city or a town.
40:21Welcome to the place Chang Qua.
40:23Look, those chips, they're so close I can almost taste them.
40:27They are actually sort of a 25-minute walk away.
40:30That's close enough for me to taste.
40:31Yeah.
40:32You have an incredible sense of taste.
40:33It's kind of awesome.
40:35We need this one bad.
40:36Yeah.
40:37If we don't get this one, we're in real big trouble.
40:44This is cool, whatever it is.
40:46Yeah, this is cool.
40:47This isn't where we're going.
40:48No, this is not where we're going, but it's neat.
40:50I like that guy's vibe.
40:52Oh, no.
40:54Oh, Ben.
40:56Yeah.
40:57Oh, dear.
41:00It's very much uphill.
41:02I don't know if it's coming across on camera how steep this is.
41:05It feels extremely uphill when you're here.
41:07So look at the image here and then imagine it.
41:11Make it worse.
41:12In your head, make it like worse.
41:14Editors, make it worse.
41:16Oh, man.
41:17How do we pick the right challenges every time?
41:20Oh, yeah.
41:20We've done good.
41:23We're off to a hot start.
41:26Yeah.
41:26Hot springs.
41:28Oh, it smells delightful.
41:30It does smell.
41:30The incense.
41:31I've got to say, this is lovely.
41:33The vibes are impeccable.
41:34Look at this place.
41:38Challenge time.
41:41Challenge number 49.
41:44Be in the hot seat.
41:46That makes sense.
41:47Okay, pause.
41:48Before I read this challenge, I should explain how this kind of challenge works.
41:52Most challenges on the board are just worth a flat number of chips, like that Tofu Rocks one.
41:57But in a Call Your Shot challenge like this one, we set the reward ourselves.
42:01The higher the reward we set, the harder the challenge becomes, and if we don't hit the
42:06level we set for ourselves, we earn nothing instead.
42:09There are a few other types of rewards that will come up later, like multiplier challenges
42:13that multiply our whole chip balance, or seal challenges that steal a certain percentage
42:17of the other team's chips.
42:18Those are going to matter a lot, but we don't have to worry about them until one comes up.
42:21For now, let me read the rules of this challenge.
42:53Be in the hot seat.
42:54Call Your Shot, but cannot discuss any specifics with their teammates.
42:58That makes sense.
42:59At a hot springs?
43:00So one person will ask, the other person answers.
43:03But it's a Call Your Shot.
43:04We have to decide in advance how many we think we'll get right.
43:06Okay.
43:07Ben, they appear to be doing a challenge at a hot spring.
43:10This one was one of the variable ones.
43:12Yeah, this is a Call Your Shot.
43:14So, you know, we have to hope that one of two things happens.
43:18One, they play it so conservative that they barely get anything.
43:23Yep.
43:24Or two, they get cocky, they call too high of a number, and then they can't pull it off.
43:30Look, if I were them, I would be feeling pretty cocky right now.
43:33I lean towards being pretty conservative.
43:35Okay.
43:36What do you think?
43:38I would rather we complete it successfully than not.
43:42Like, I would think that like three or four is probably the right answer.
43:45Okay.
43:46I lean towards me doing the trivia.
43:48I agree.
43:48And you asking?
43:49Yes, and I will make a conservative decision as to how many we should go for.
43:54Well, the other thing, it doesn't say you have to ask them in order.
43:58No?
43:58So, you could ask the questions that you think I'll be best at first.
44:01Right.
44:02Before you ask questions, here's what I'll say.
44:04I think pretty much everything I know is from writing videos.
44:08Which is a lot.
44:09That brings you a lot.
44:10Geography, politics, not great on history, really bad at pop culture.
44:14I was going to say, yeah.
44:15I can go away for a bit.
44:17So, you can talk with the camera.
44:18Okay.
44:19About the questions.
44:20Okay.
44:20And then I'll come back in like 60 seconds.
44:22Okay.
44:23So, it looks like, at first here, there are some questions regarding Taiwan.
44:28There are some questions regarding Jetlag the Game, the YouTube channel.
44:33I'm glad we've decided to have Sam answer these questions rather than myself.
44:36Because he should be able to answer at least the Jetlag the Game questions.
44:43What is this?
44:44This is a pretty good airplane.
44:46There's a giant statue of an airplane.
44:51This is not the challenge location, by the way.
44:53No, this is just here.
44:54This is just here.
44:56Okay.
44:58Tell you what, I saw this challenge and I was like, well, 25 minute walk.
45:02At least it's not as bad as the walk to the rocks.
45:06It's as bad.
45:07No, it's worse.
45:09It's as bad.
45:11Yeah.
45:13Oh, I think I see what it is.
45:16Yeah.
45:16I think that, like, it's pretty chill to be here.
45:19There are arcade games.
45:20Yeah, yeah.
45:21It's for him?
45:23Yeah.
45:24Him?
45:27No, it's not for him, Ben.
45:29I think it's about him, probably.
45:31Oh, that makes more sense.
45:33All right, we can set up an awesome shot here.
45:37Ready?
45:37Yeah, okay.
45:39Well, we made it.
45:40What do we got?
45:41Let's see.
45:43Got our challenge envelope here.
45:47Let's make a deal.
45:52Let's make a deal.
45:54You may have noticed three tall structures in this park.
45:56The Big Buddha and the Two Pagodas.
45:58You will complete this challenge by selecting the right one and going to it.
46:02Which one is right?
46:03Head to this website to find out.
46:06This challenge has its own website.
46:08Yes.
46:08Um, well, look, Amy does love to do things a little extra.
46:11All right, so we just pick one of these and we go to the top.
46:16Okay.
46:16We've selected the Buddha statue and it says,
46:18climb to the top of the great Buddha statue.
46:20Click when you make it.
46:22Okay.
46:22Okay, well, look.
46:23That is tall, but it's not as bad as getting up here.
46:28We just went up pretty tall.
46:30So I feel like it's going to be okay.
46:31Do you think the odds are that it is just the Buddha?
46:33It feels so obvious.
46:35The Buddha feels obvious, but maybe Amy is feeling merciful.
46:38Right.
46:39This is pretty sick.
46:42So it just fell up, I guess.
46:46Let's go up.
46:49Oh, yeah, it's burning.
46:52Yeah.
46:54Oh, I hit my head.
46:55I hit my damn head.
46:56Careful.
46:57I'm perfectly sized for this Buddha.
47:00All right.
47:01Seems we can go up no further.
47:03Okay.
47:04We are at the top of the Buddha.
47:07Here, I'll click when I made it.
47:10Okay.
47:10We've learned that North Pagoda is incorrect.
47:13This is the information we've earned.
47:15We have Great Buddha selected.
47:16Would we like to keep it or switch to South Pagoda?
47:18Okay.
47:19We should switch because of Monty Hall problem.
47:23Isn't that like magic?
47:24No, no, no.
47:25Monty Hall problem is real.
47:26That's math.
47:26Monty Hall problem has never made sense to me, but I believe you.
47:29Switch to South Pagoda.
47:30Well, it says now to climb to South Pagoda.
47:32Fine.
47:33Okay.
47:35No problem at all.
47:37All right.
47:38Watch your head.
47:40Oh.
47:41Okay.
47:43South is that way, so that would be the South Pagoda.
47:46You know, the Monty Hall problem doesn't really make sense, but it is true.
47:50Please, in the comments, explain the Monty Hall problem to us.
47:55Should I come back?
47:56Yeah, you can come back.
47:57Okay, so I have to come up with a number.
47:59I haven't come up with a number yet, but I'm moving through.
48:01We might not want to do too many.
48:03How many does that mean?
48:05I think three or four.
48:08Look, I would not be disappointed if we went away here with 24 coins.
48:12But I would be disappointed if we walked away with zero.
48:14Yeah.
48:15Okay, let's go with, we've got to get three correct in 60 seconds.
48:19Yeah.
48:19I'll ask the first three questions that I think are the easiest, and after that, we'll go through and we'll
48:24make guesses.
48:25Okay.
48:26All right.
48:26Should we go find some hot springs?
48:27Let's go find the hot springs.
48:29All right.
48:29Now you've been told that one of them isn't right, so you can switch to that one, and there's now
48:34a 66.6% chance it's this.
48:36Now what's going to be really frustrating is if we're in the 33.3% chance that it always was
48:42the Buddha.
48:46All right, Ben, we have made it to the South Pagoda.
48:48Okay, here we go.
48:49What does this say?
48:50Wrong choice.
48:51Oh, s***.
48:53We have to get to the top of the Great Buddha statue in the next five minutes.
48:56Okay, we can do that.
48:57Yep.
48:58Just, we're being very respectful.
48:59Can we get up that way?
49:00No, I think, yeah, this way.
49:01Oh, thanks.
49:07More free foot action for Nebula Subscribers Only.
49:10Oh, yeah.
49:11This is for all the paying viewers right here.
49:14Nebula Subscribers Only, as always.
49:16That's our policy on feet.
49:20Oh, that is lovely.
49:22I know it says only one of us has to be in the hot seat, but I'm going to stand
49:26in here.
49:26It's delightful.
49:27I haven't come all this way not to get in.
49:29All right.
49:30Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to In the Hot Seat with Sam, who is in the hot seat.
49:34You ready?
49:34All right, you know your order.
49:35I know the order.
49:36We are going for three questions.
49:38We're going to be, we're going to nail it.
49:39We're going to, we're going to nail it.
49:40All right.
49:41We're going to start in three, two, one.
49:44At the time of writing, what is the most viewed video on the Jetlag the Game YouTube channel?
49:49Skip, skip.
49:51Okay.
49:51Um, no, um, Hide and Seek Japan Episode 1.
49:55Yes.
49:56Okay.
49:56Uh, no.
49:57Skip.
49:58Okay.
49:59Including this one, how many people have competed on at least one full season of Jetlag the Game?
50:05Michelle, Toby, Scotty, Adam, Ben, Sam, Brian, um, you, um, uh, nine?
50:19Incorrect.
50:19Which of the U.S. states is closest in land to Taiwan?
50:22Maryland, Massachusetts, Connecticut?
50:26Um, Massachusetts.
50:28Incorrect.
50:29Keep going.
50:29Keep going.
50:29Four out of the ten north.
50:32We're out of time.
50:33We're out of time.
50:43That was disappointing.
50:44I feel like we should have been able to get that.
50:46Those questions were longer than I expected.
50:48They were long-winded questions.
50:50The other, the other ones were harder.
50:52Thought you'd get the-
50:53Geography.
50:53I know geography.
50:54I know.
50:54I thought you'd get the Jetlag questions.
50:56I don't know.
50:56I don't know.
50:57I don't know.
50:58You should listen to the layover.
50:59I don't know anything about Jetlag.
51:01Oh.
51:03Uh, I don't like that because, to be honest, there's every, there's every chance they can
51:08get that and they'll now have a 50% bonus.
51:11Okay, well, all we have to do now is head back to the train station and make the next train.
51:18Yeah.
51:19Let's not let this take the wind out of our sails.
51:21I don't know.
51:21My sails are pretty wind-y.
51:23It's not over yet.
51:24I don't know.
51:25That just, that felt like a fumble.
51:26It didn't feel like bad luck.
51:27It was.
51:27It was.
51:28It's going to give them a lot of hope.
51:31It's going to put a lot of wind in their sails.
51:32Yeah.
51:34Oh, good.
51:34It's more up.
51:36Okay.
51:38Let's get up there.
51:49Come on, buddy.
51:52I'm coming.
51:53Oh.
51:56No problem.
52:01I made it.
52:02Nice recovery.
52:03Challenge complete.
52:08Yeah.
52:09I had to work for this one.
52:11Yeah.
52:12But we did it.
52:14Okay.
52:15Let's get out of the Big Buddha.
52:18Let's generate the new challenges.
52:20And let's tell them.
52:22Oh.
52:23I feel like Michelle Carre after she ran her seven marathons.
52:28This is definitely just as hard.
52:31Okay.
52:31Option one.
52:32Whatever the f*** that we're done with.
52:34The past is the past.
52:36Moving forward.
52:36I feel like I needed, I needed humbling.
52:39I was getting a little too excited by our leave.
52:41We had a hot start.
52:41So our next, our next challenge on the East Coast, I'm looking, is, is really far.
52:46Quite far south.
52:47It's only, it's actually, well, sorry.
52:48It's a variable challenge.
52:49So we don't even have a guarantee.
52:51Ooh.
52:51And after that, I don't like variables.
52:53I don't either.
52:54Okay.
52:54So then let's go to Taipei.
52:56I think we go to Taipei.
52:57We see what drops on the map.
52:59Yep.
52:59When they populate it.
53:00But like, for the rest of today and tomorrow, I want to be in the action.
53:04Okay.
53:24Big three.
53:26All right.
53:26Oh, wait, Ben.
53:28Sam texted us while we were doing the challenge.
53:33That's good.
53:36They failed.
53:37They failed.
53:37That's good.
53:38They did get a little.
53:39They got cocky.
53:40They got a little big for their britches, didn't they?
53:43Well, well, well, well, well.
53:44Your britches have split and our britches.
53:47Are doing perfect.
53:48They've been hatched and they can hold everything.
53:53All right.
53:54Let's reveal the next two challenges, Ben.
53:5638 and six, Benjamin.
53:59Oh, man.
54:0138 is a steal near them.
54:04Bolstering.
54:05Do we just get new challenges?
54:08It's going to change things.
54:11And we are back.
54:13Welcome back.
54:13Thank you for watching this episode on Nebula.
54:16Why not listen to the Layover podcast?
54:18It's our podcast where we recap every episode of Jet Lag the Game.
54:21And this season, of course, Michael Downey will be on every episode with us to break down what happened in
54:27this episode.
54:28A lot of stuff, you know, a complicated game, a lot of strategy, a lot of things that we're going
54:33to chat about.
54:33And we appreciate you so much that we helped develop a whole new show just for you.
54:38It's called Day Pass.
54:39It's by Not Just Bikes.
54:40You know Not Just Bikes, right?
54:42Yeah.
54:42And basically we send him to various cities and he's armed with a transit day pass and a will to
54:49ride every single transit line in that city in a day and also visit stuff along the way.
54:53It's kind of like jet lag, except he's just chilling out and having a good time.
54:56It is actually, if you watch jet lag and you're like, I like seeing stuff, but I get really stressed
55:01out, day pass is like, it's like jet lag chill mode.
55:05It's like, what if we were all just chilling the heck out?
55:07And we were also like 20 years older.
55:09Yeah, yeah.
55:10And very strong opinions about public transit.
55:11Yeah.
55:12Why not check it out?
55:13Go check it out.
55:13It's right here on Nebula.
55:15Bye!
