01:01We're also utilizing the new Android extension pack.
01:04This allows the use of deferred rendering,
01:06physically-based shading with G-buffers,
01:07image-based lighting, and HDR tone mapping.
01:11These characters are part of our Samaritan demo,
01:13which we built to showcase the bleeding edge of PC rendering not too long ago.
01:16Now we're able to render them with full detail on a mobile device
01:19and really close the gap in graphics capability compared to desktops.
01:23Some of the extensions utilized in this demo
01:25allow for the glossy reflections in the environment,
01:27along with tessellation for the smoke effects.
01:29Geometry shaders are also used to generate various volumetric textures,
01:33which are used for post-process effects.
01:35This demo and its assets will be made available
01:37to Unreal Engine 4 subscribers in the near future.
