00:06Today we would like to tell you about the major changes and features planned in the 1.39 update.
00:12In 1.39 we are pleased to announce a number of additions,
00:17including the Ground Forces Closed Beta Test being moved to the main server,
00:22the introduction of a new large-scale map, Kursk, which is filled with exciting gameplay,
00:27squadron battles in event modes and PvP-style rankings,
00:32a huge opportunity to create user-generated content, and, of course, many new planes.
00:39Let's first discuss the new planes.
00:42The U.S. line is receiving many new top fighters.
00:45The Republic F-84 Thunder jet is being added and was widely used in the Korean War from the end
00:52of 1950
00:53in both fighter and bomber capacities.
00:55The F-82 twin Mustang was one of the best escort fighters and has a unique design.
01:02The two fuselages of the P-51H with separate cockpits for each pilot conjoined by wing and tail.
01:11For the U.S.S.R. line is getting the addition of two new I-16 modifications,
01:17Type 24 and Type 27.
01:19The Type 24 Ishak comes with a more powerful engine,
01:24and Type 27 is equipped with two 20-millimeter Schmack cannons.
01:29We also see two new jet fighters, the LA-15 and LA-174, being added to Rank 5,
01:36which will undoubtedly be dangerous competitors.
01:40The Japanese and German Trees are also receiving top jet fighters.
01:46Modifications of the F-86 Sabre and the MiG-15 BIS were in service with these countries' air forces,
01:52and we can look forward to seeing them in 1.39.
01:56For the German line, the Focke-Wulf 190A-1 is being added and joins the second rank of the German

02:32There are also many new changes to existing aircraft as well.
02:37Older existing aircraft have also been reworked.
02:40Flight models have been adjusted according to historical data,
02:43and bomb loads for several bombers have been corrected.
02:49An exciting addition comes to some Japanese and German nightfighters,
02:53that are now armed with Schrage-Muzik,
02:55upward-firing autocannons that can do massive amounts of damage to planes that may be above you.
03:01These weapons are sure to bring more tactical diversity.
03:06A true gem in this update is the new epic large-scale map Kursk.
03:11The Battle of Kursk, which took place in 1943,
03:15was a massive engagement between German and Soviet forces,
03:19and now War Thunder players can take part in the intense gameplay they are sure to find at Kursk.
03:26The map Kursk will probably be familiar to members of the Ground Forces' closed beta test.
03:32From now on, testers can join tank battles in special events on the main War Thunder server.
03:40In 1.39, we have also added squadron battles to the events mode.
03:45Squadrons can compete with each other and race to the top of the leaderboards
03:49through a special PvP rating system that has been added to track their progress.
03:55The progression system is also significantly changed in 1.39.
04:00Planes are able to be unlocked faster,
04:02but it takes more aircraft to unlock a new rank.
04:06The research points needed to unlock a new aircraft for ranks 2, 3, 4,
04:12and the first aircraft of rank 5 has been decreased by 25% or more.
04:19And finally, the most creative players of War Thunder can now add their own content.
04:24New locations, missions, and even unique planes that can be created with the help of the War Thunder CDK,
04:32a program that is used by the developers.
04:35There are also many more changes in Update 1.39,
04:40including improvements to the interface,
04:43optimizations to gain performance,
04:45and increased user security.
