00:03It is the PlayStation 4 Road to Greatness store here at Fort Riley, Kansas.
00:09As a thank you to you for your service to our country, the Road to Greatness has officially come through
00:15Fort Riley.
00:17Thank you for being a part of our PlayStation gaming family.
00:21Personally, when I saw the trailer roll in, I was floored.
00:23And I feel like that is probably one of the most awesome things I've seen on Fort Riley.
00:28I'm a big-time gamer, and to see that kind of stuff come here to us is just awesome.
00:50My first system was actually a PlayStation, so I've always stuck with the Playstations.
00:55They're constantly getting new systems out there, bringing new things to the table.
01:00I can connect with my friends. I can go on Netflix. It's multiple things for me to do from that
01:06system.
01:07That's all the single soldiers do in these barracks around here.
01:10We're not just gaming back here. We're also gaming wherever we are in the world.
01:14It can go a really long way to taking your mind off of where you are in that place, in
01:20that time,
01:20and maybe bring you back to your living room.
01:22Maybe put you back in front of your 50-inch screen where it's comfortable.
01:28The idea of the game bringing you away from that reality, there's a lot to that.
01:34I want to say something, Fort Riley. I got to say, I don't know about y'all, but a rain
01:38can't stop our parade.
01:39Y'all are wilder, wilder than ever.
01:41I personally was grateful that Sony was able to bring in a big-name artist like Brett Eldridge
01:48and to have him take his time to perform for us here on Fort Riley.
01:57What?
01:58Are you guys playing a PlayStation 4 right now on my bus?
02:00Yeah, we are playing a PlayStation 4.
02:01Oh, man. No way!
02:03I've been gaming my whole life.
02:04I love to play video games.
02:06It's a good release when you can just go in this world,
02:09and especially the way games look these days are so real,
02:12and the graphics are just incredible on the PS4, so I'm very pumped about that.
02:16I am a huge supporter of our troops.
02:19I've played several shows for our troops, and then I grew up loving playing PlayStation,
02:23so I felt like it was kind of the perfect matchup.
02:27So I got a tour of the Division I headquarters today,
02:30and I never get nervous about going on stage,
02:32but when I meet people that are in the military,
02:35I get so nervous meeting them because it makes my job seem so little compared to theirs
02:40for what they do for us.
02:42What's neat about the Army is everybody joins to be part of something bigger than themselves,
02:47so when you're representing your unit in some sort of event,
02:50and no matter what it is, the best color guard competition to being the best PlayStation operator in the world,
02:58they're going to cheer you on because it's unit pride, that enthusiasm of shared experience.
03:05I got to step in their world a little bit and check out the headquarters here,
03:09and as I walked in, they were lowering the flag at 5 o'clock.
03:13They do it every day, and we just happened to be in where there was a window,
03:18and all the generals, everybody stopped what they were doing,
03:21so it was just complete silence in that room, and that was the coolest feeling.
03:25It gave me chills.
03:27It really makes you think about what you're doing in your life and what others are doing for you
03:32and why I'm able to sit here in the comfort of this bus and sit here and play my PlayStation
03:374
03:37and enjoy life and all that is because there's somebody out there making this a comfortable life for us.
03:43I just think that this is the best part of my job is to be able to give back in
03:47this way,
03:47and so I'm just happy to be here and can't wait to play the show tonight and have some fun.
03:53How much I am with myself and this band right here, excited to play for you guys.
03:57We want to say we love you guys so much, and thank you for our troops, for all that you
04:01guys do.
04:02Y'all ready to fall in love to the beat of the music right now?
04:07When somebody comes and is that appreciative of just getting to spend a little time
04:11with the great men and women that defend this country every day,
04:14that to me says an amazing amount about an organization,
04:19the PlayStation folks who brought him here and made it happen,
04:21and about he himself, that he'd take the time to come and see us.
04:26Let me hear y'all sing it!
04:29You got the soul and you know how to use it
04:34Put your hand on my hip cause you know that I lose it
04:38You got my heart embracing like there's nothing to it
04:42Falling in love to beat of music
