00:07Today we'll be taking a look at the mechanics of playing Night Cry and we'll be doing that by taking
00:14a look at Monica as she escapes from the scissor walker.
00:19Don't worry Monica, we'll do our best to save you.
00:24First of all, the movement controls in Night Cry are a single click to walk, a double click to run,
00:31and a hold click to sprint.
00:35The longer you sprint, the more Monica will run out of breath and the screen will indicate this by turning
00:44blue and flashing.
00:45You'll need to use right click to look over your shoulder in order to judge the distance between you and
00:52the scissor walker in order to find a spot to stop and recover your breath.
01:02Now, we need to find a place for Monica to hide, so let's take a look at the laundromat.
01:11And it looks like there's an empty dryer Monica can climb in to try and get away.
01:16Now, your mother may have told you don't play in dryers as bad things could happen, but perhaps Monica thinks
01:25it's better than being chopped in half by giant scissors.
01:31But it looks like she's been found out anyway, and the scissor walker has just taught her a lesson in
01:38why you don't hide in dryers.
01:44But we just started today, so we're going to give Monica a second chance.
01:52So we're going to skip right ahead to where Monica is already running away from the scissor walker and looking
01:59for a new place to hide in the ship's store.
02:08Let's see if there's a spot here she can use.
02:13Oh, and there you go. She found a spot. Let's see what happens when she activates it.
02:19And yes, it's hiding behind the counter.
02:31We're hiding and the scissor walker must be close.
02:36And she's holding her breath. Is he going to find her?
02:42Maybe, maybe not.
02:45Why don't we take a quick look up?
02:51And Monica still has her head on her shoulders and it looks like she's managed to get away from the
02:57scissor walker for now.
02:58So let's take a look around at what the store has on offer.

03:26We can't show you in more detail at the moment, but it's definitely not ice cream in the ice cream

03:35So yeah, the store doesn't seem so healthy at the moment, so let's continue exploring around the Oceanus.
03:44And Monica is now in the elevator hall, checking to see if the elevator works, but it's definitely not functioning.

05:52Let's see if we can take a look at whatever's inside the suitcase.
05:58Well, it's locked, but maybe we can get into the suitcase anyway?
06:02Maybe pick the lock?
06:05Or, okay, it looks like Monica's going to try and guess the combination.
06:15Well, that is a commonly used code, but no, it looks like it did not work.
06:21We're going to have to try and find a clue to the code somewhere.
06:25And Monica's going to take a look and see if maybe Thompson, Mr. Thompson, has made a clue on his
06:32social media.
06:34But no, no, it doesn't look like there's any kind of clue we can use in the social media of
06:42the modern world.
06:43So we're going to have to do it old school and explore around the ship more and see if we
06:48can find something out.
06:53So let's keep taking a look around the ship.
07:04So running back down the hallway, and we're going to see what's at the other end.
07:13So we've just passed the laundromat, and it looks like there's something just up ahead.
07:20Looks like a room service cart.
07:24Why don't we take a look?
07:30Nothing special at the moment.
07:31Let's keep exploring.
07:39And as we come around the corner...

08:32And yes, I don't think a bucket is going to help you very much unless you're looking to clean up
08:37all that blood.
08:38So let's try and escape.
08:41And no, it looks like the card reader is out of power, and...
08:47Since that is the crew elevator...
08:51Yeah, that is not going to work without the card.
08:54So we definitely need to restore power.
08:57So let's open up the fuse box, and...
09:00Yeah, you can see a broken fuse there, so we'll need to replace it.
