00:50But lucky for you, getting around just got a whole lot easier.
00:55Traversing through Sunset City is all about one word. Velocity.
01:00Jump on a car, grind on a power line, run along walls, all within a matter of seconds to get
01:05a tactical advantage against enemies.
01:08Plus, it's a hell of a lot more fun than cowering behind a crate.
01:12But who else are you going to see around the city?
01:15Are there other people embracing this apocalypse like you?
01:18Yup.
01:19You're going to see factions like Troopa Shido, which are a group of adventurers who now abide by ancient samurai
01:25culture.
01:26Or the Fargarths, live-action roleplayers whose fantasy all of a sudden becomes their reality.
01:31And there are a lot more memorable characters as well.
01:35Alright, now let's talk about the more shootable inhabitants of Sunset City.
01:39There are a lot of enemies in Sunset Overdrive.
01:43Introducing the Hurker, who actually throws smaller OD'd at the players.
01:49Or the Blower, whose arm is fused with the Leaf Blower.
01:54And that's just a few of the enemies that are going to kill you.
01:57But even when you die, you're going to love it.
02:00Welcome to Next Gen Respawning.
02:07It's not going to be an insomniac game without an awesome array of weapons.
02:11For instance, there's Captain Ahab, which lures enemy OD'd in for an easy kill.
02:18And there's the Roman Candle Gun.
02:21And there's the TN Teddy, which straps little bitty teddy bears to full sticks of dynamite.
02:29And from there, your arsenal is just going to keep getting bigger.
02:32Quite simply, it's madness.
02:34But it's the kind of madness that fits perfectly into the world of Sunset Overdrive.
02:39Want to feel more badass?
02:40Cue the amp system.
02:42Amps are special abilities that you can add to your character.
02:46By utilizing traversal in combat, your amps are going to activate.
02:49And there's over 50 amps to choose from.
02:52Want to have a chance to cause a nuclear explosion?
02:55Slap on the Twist of Fate.
02:57Or the Air Dash.
02:59Or just summon a Twister.
03:02This combination of traversal, shooting, and amps is the core of Sunset Overdrive.
03:08And that's something we really want to emphasize.
03:10Because for us, this is what makes the game stand out.
