00:04Hello and welcome to Sunset TV. I'm Brandon Winfrey and let's prescribe you with a full dose of good ol'
00:10Sunset Overdrive.
00:11I watch Scrubs, so pretty much a doctor.
00:13Last week I said I was going to talk about character customization, but last week I lied.
00:18Because I'm a dirty liar, I guess.
00:20Instead I'm going to talk about some weapons, which is a form of customization if you think about it.
00:25If you disagree, too bad.
00:27You know, at Insomniac we pride ourselves on making memorable and unique weapons like the Rhino from Ratchet & Clank
00:32or the Bullseye from Resistance.
00:34I mean, weapons are kind of our thing and to us they're characters and themselves.
00:37So we set the bar pretty high for ourselves going into Sunset and we want to create the best arsenal
00:41we've ever done.
00:42And we think we did. Let's look at a few.
00:44High Fidelity.
00:45Who knew the contents of your dad's basement and a hipster's wall could be so handy?
00:49What makes this weapon great is its ricochet, which creates the possibility of doing tons of damage to multiple enemies.
00:54It can just lodge itself in one enemy, but more often than not, it's going to bounce off them and
00:59sail towards the next.
01:00The randomness and possibility of each ricochet is what makes this weapon fun.
01:04Plus, at a higher style level, the records turn gold.
01:07Switch it up!
01:08Remember that creepy robot teddy bear in AI?
01:10Remember I used to fantasize about strapping it to a stick of dynamite and giggling as you watch the carnage
01:14of flames and cotton explode before your very eyes?
01:17Just me.
01:18Apparently.
01:19Well, whatever, because Sunset Overdrive lets me live that fantasy.
01:22The TNTeddy is great for taking out large packs of enemies.
01:25It has a generous damage radius, so even the guys on the outskirts of the blast are still going to
01:29feel the effect.
01:30It can also be shot a surprisingly long way.
01:33I mean, it has a nice arc, so if you're grinding and you fire it up into the air, you
01:36can actually hit enemies a few blocks away.
01:38Plus, sometimes you get to see a teddy bear face in the explosion.
01:41So cute, so painful.
01:42More like a teddy bear, am I right?
01:45High five.
01:46High five.
01:47Okay.
01:48Email time!
01:49Cool guitar riff goes right here!
01:51We don't have a theme song yet, so I'm just experimenting.
01:54Kyle asks, is there more than one button for Melee, and are there Melee combos?
01:59Melee is only on one button, but you can augment it with amps.
02:02Plus, you can do massive ground slams and even Melee while grinding.
02:05So while there isn't a combo system for Melee per se, it is heavily customizable.
02:09Robert ponders, how will single player be different from multiplayer?
02:13Well, it's in a lot of ways.
02:14Mainly that the single player has a huge campaign with tons and tons of side content to do.
02:18We'll get more into the story stuff soon.
02:20Thank you so much for watching Sunset TV.
02:22Got questions?
02:22Got insults?

02:33because look what happened last time.
02:39We'll see you next week.
