00:23we'd like to share something special with you that we've been working on for the last six months.
00:27Ort Online is a multiplayer RPG set in a sandbox universe. In the game you'll explore, fight, survive, build and
00:37craft. You'll be able to explore huge numbers of different worlds, each with unique appearances, resources, real players and their
00:46creations.
00:47Each planet is populated by vicious and varied creatures known as the Protectors. Fight them alone or with friends and
00:54be rewarded with experience and loot.
00:57Everyone plays in the same universe. You can build anything, anywhere, from portals to palaces and keep your creations safe
01:04using beacons.
01:06Step through a portal and find other players, their creations, monuments, shops, villages, cities and clans. The whole universe is
01:13open for you to explore.
01:17We've developed an engine that can procedurally generate almost any world you can think of. This allows us to create
01:22an entire universe of unique worlds.
01:24From inhospitable volcano worlds to lush jungle moons full of weird creatures. Each world functions as a server, becoming home
01:32to hundreds of players.
01:34When you start playing Ort Online, you might end up on a totally different world to your friends, but there's
01:39an easy way to connect with them.
01:41After you've settled on your world, you'll be able to start digging for Ort Stones.
01:45Ort Stones allow you to build portals that connect your world to the intergalactic network and travel to your friends
01:52worlds instantly.
01:54Worlds are rendered simultaneously in real time.
01:57We believe voxels can be beautiful.
02:01Ort Online is powered by our beautiful voxel engine, featuring dynamic day and night cycles, real time reflections, HDR lighting,
02:10depth of field focus effects, bloom, interactive particles, ambient occlusion,
02:15and a roster of other effects that make the universe of Ort Online look amazing and feel immersive.
02:22The universe would be empty without our characters.
02:25There's six different races to choose from with different appearances, customisable with weapons, tools, armour and vanity items.
02:33And you're not alone in the universe.
02:35Each habitable planet is populated with weird crossbred creatures you can catch to use as food or pets.
02:42Then there's the Protectors.
02:44These ancient creatures come in many forms, from grunts to birds to gigantic titans that dominate the landscape.
02:52As you roam the universe, you'll discover them in the wilderness, cave systems and Ort temples filled with rare loot.
02:59The game is currently in a prototype phase with many of the core features already in place.
03:05We launched Ort Online into early access at the beginning of August and we've already had some amazing reviews and
03:11seen some great creations in-game,
03:13like slides and portals from our fast growing and passionate community.
