00:12First off, thank you all so much for your positive response to all of our E3 coverage. I mean, I
00:16can say without a doubt that this is one of the best E3s that Insomniac has ever had.
00:20So Sunset got about 50 award nominations and about 20 wins at E3 and there were tons and tons of
00:25people who came up to us and said how much they enjoyed playing and that means a lot to us.
00:29We made this game because we wanted to make it and the fact that other people love it, it's incredible.
00:33One of the biggest things we revealed at E3 was traps.
00:36It's a trap!
00:37No, we are not doing that reference on this show.
00:40Traps are a new layer of gameplay that give you more inventive ways to kill things.
00:44They mainly come into play during night defense when you're going to have to fight off an assault of enemies
00:48as they're trying to take your overcharge.
00:50You can choose between a variety of traps to place all around your fort and form a strategy as night
00:54defense goes on by removing or adding new traps.
00:56And the goal for our traps was the same as the goal for our weapons.
00:59They had to have a crazy theme and a unique functionality to make it stand out.
01:03So you have things like the pyro geyser which you actually have to jump on top of to activate.
01:07It erupts enemies in fire and shoots them up into the air.
01:10And then there's the Pandora's trap where honestly you have no idea what's going to come out of it each
01:14time.
01:14It could be anything from a dog to pickaxing gnomes who enjoy using inappropriate language.
01:19You can also chain a lot of the traps together.
01:21So the strategic positioning of them is both helpful and sometimes hilarious.
01:25For instance, you can set it where a fling board perfectly launches enemies on top of a pyro geyser and
01:30they actually activate it themselves.
01:32Or you can have them endlessly thrown between two fling boards, you sadistic bastards.
01:36Now let's enter the email dimension.

01:43Of course. I mean, self-expression is super important to us.
01:46So you can be female, you can be male, you can be different skin tones, you can be different body
01:50types, and all the clothing is gender neutral.
01:52So if you want to be a dude in a skirt, you can be a dude in a skirt, alright?
