01:35general i think that overseas in canada and france and germany there's not such a stigmatism against
01:42science fiction and horror and fantasy and so they fully appreciate the strengths of the show the
01:51international success of buffy the vampire slayer is just bizarre my wife and i were in paris for
01:56our honeymoon and i was in a comic book store and i in my halting french told the guy i

02:01and he was like oh yeah you know he was he was very unimpressed and then we left and i

02:06him telling his friend that guy wrote for buffy i was really lucky i got to go to england this

02:14summer and uh i mean to walk down the street now people go oh my god it's terror from buffy

02:20i'm just like whoa they don't do that in l.a you think you know l.a is like the
02:24hollywood but no nobody
02:25cares there it's just like oh my god it's terror it was really weird in france because because um alex
02:31alex they were just so floored by the fact that i was there it's like what are you doing here

02:37know you're a big star and they were nothing but kind and lovely and we got a lot of free

02:43it's just that you know that i exchanged my car against another who was not entirely
02:46ruined that i was a refugee in the arms of my parents loved ones and there i noticed that
02:51nothing had changed except that i had to sleep in the cave and that i paid a lot of money

03:23stake out the hotel room and the whole like it was very i felt like a little rock star it

03:37in england's great because it was our last stop from our five-week world world one trip through europe
03:42it was the first time that i had been there and i was doing an autograph signing it was the
03:45same thing
03:46there with the show it seems to be doing well uh over there and god bless them thank you very

03:59as far as the bbc is concerned you know the fact that they they not only bought it but they

04:05put it on twice a week that's cool
