00:00Houston plays Texas A&M.
00:03This is an Aggies group who are capable of hanging.
00:07An upset of this caliber could be tough to come by for A&M,
00:12but, Coach, I think you're, this year,
00:15it is definitely your Houston Cougars.
00:18I think they are on upset alert here, Coach,
00:21in the 2-10 matchup.
00:22Well, Texas A&M has more than enough firepower
00:25to keep this game close and steal it.
00:28And any time you look at Houston, let's be honest,
00:32they are a couple of guys in foul trouble away from being in trouble.
00:36They just don't have the depth.
00:40Besides probably Miller, I don't know if Calvin Sampson
00:43can really go more than six deep.
00:45So I think when you kind of get into it, yes,
00:48they could be an upset alert, but when I look at Houston,
00:50I am going to lay the 10.5.
00:53I think they do a, and I've talked about this all the time,
00:56they do the best job of making them play your way.
00:59They make you play your way.
01:00But the biggest thing that I took from this is this.
01:04I think the ability to dominate the boards could be here.
01:08Okay?
01:08Texas A&M is bottom 100 in defensive rebounding percentage.
01:13Houston is better at blocking shots
01:15and getting to the offensive boards.
01:17They may create second and third chance opportunities.
01:21So if guys like Sharp and Uzon and Flemings are struggling to shoot the ball,
01:26the perimeter, then Sinek and Tugler can clean up the mess and go from there.
01:32I don't think Houston blows them out early.
01:36I think it's going to play a slow pull away in the second half.
01:41I wouldn't be surprised if this is a one or two position,
01:43or one position game at the half.
01:44That this is a three or four point game at the half,
01:46and then Houston finds a way to pull away in the second half.
01:49These two teams played an awesome, awesome game a couple of years ago, J.Y.
01:56I just pulled up the box score.
01:59Overtime, a one versus nine.
02:02Final score, 100 to 95.
02:06Wade Taylor and the boys pushing Houston.
02:09I wonder if we could get something a little bit similar here
02:15with this Texas A, again, I don't know, about 195 points.
